< Romans 2 >
1 Therefore, you are inexcusable, O man—everyone who is judging—for in that in which you judge the other, yourself you condemn, for the same things you practice who are judging,
Omiyo in bende ok initony, in mingʼado bura ni ngʼat machielo, nikech gima ingʼadonego ngʼat machielo burano ema bura loyigo iwuon, nikech in mingʼado bura bende itimo gik machalre gi gima otimo.
2 and we have known that the judgment of God is according to truth, on those practicing such things.
To koro wangʼeyo ni buch Nyasaye ne joma timo gik ma kamago oluwore gi adiera.
3 And do you think this, O man, who are judging those who such things are practicing, and are doing them, that you will escape the judgment of God?
To koro in dhano adhanani mingʼado bura ni joma timo gik ma in bende itimo, iparo ni Nyasaye biro ngʼado bura ni jogo to in to itony?
4 Or the riches of His goodness, and forbearance, and long-suffering, do you despise, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to conversion?
Koso ichayo ngʼwonone mogundho, ber mare kod horuokne? Donge ingʼeyo ni Nyasaye ngʼwononi mondo omiyi thuolo mar lokruok mondo iwe richo?
5 But according to your hardness and impenitent heart, you treasure up wrath to yourself in [the] day of wrath and of the revelation of the righteous judgment of God,
To kuom tamruok mari kod chunyi midagi loko, ikuno mirima mager, ne in iwuon ne odiechieng mirimb Nyasaye, ma buche makare noelie.
6 who will render to each according to his works;
Chiengʼno Nyasaye “nochul ngʼato ka ngʼato kaluwore gi timbene.”
7 to those, indeed, who in continuance of a good work, seek glory, and honor, and incorruptibility—continuous life; (aiōnios )
Ne joma osetimo kinda kuom timo maber, ka gidwaro duongʼ kod luor, kod gik ma ok tho, enomi ngima mochwere. (aiōnios )
8 and to those contentious, and disobedient, indeed, to the truth, and obeying the unrighteousness—indignation and wrath,
To joma ohero margi kendo ma ok luw adiera, to luwo mana timbe ma ok kare, norom gi mirimb Nyasaye mager.
9 tribulation and distress, on every soul of man that is working the evil, both of Jew first, and of Greek;
Masira gi chandruok malit nobedi ni ji duto matimo richo, mokwongo ni jo-Yahudi, eka bangʼe ni joma ok jo-Yahudi bende;
10 and glory, and honor, and peace, to everyone who is working the good, both to Jew first, and to Greek.
to ngʼato ka ngʼato matimo maber noyud duongʼ gi pak kod kwe, mokwongo ni jo-Yahudi, eka bangʼe ni joma ok jo-Yahudi bende;
11 For there is no favor by appearance with God,
nikech Nyasaye ok dew wangʼ ji.
12 for as many as sinned without law, will also perish without law, and as many as sinned in law, through law will be judged,
Ji duto matimo richo, ka ok ongʼeyo chik nolal nono kata obedo ni gikia chik kamano, to ji duto matimo richo ka gin e bwo Chik nongʼadnigi bura gi Chikno.
13 for not the hearers of the Law [are] righteous before God, but the doers of the Law will be declared righteous.
Ok mana joma ongʼeyo Chik ema nikare e nyim Nyasaye, to makmana jogo matimo gima chik dwaro ema ibiro keto kare.
14 For when nations that have no law, by nature may do the things of the Law, these not having a law—to themselves are a law,
(Chutho ka joma ok jo-Yahudi maonge gi Chik, timo gik ma Chik dwaro, kata obedo ni gikia Chik, to gidoko chik ne gin giwegi kata obedo ni gionge gi chik kamano
15 who show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience also witnessing with them, and between one another the thoughts accusing or else defending,
nikech ginyiso ni gima Chik dwaro ondiki e chunygi, kendo kata chunygi giwegi bende bedo joneno ni mano en adier, kendo pachgi seche moko ngʼadonegi bura kaka joketho, to seche moko pwoyogi.)
16 in the day when God will judge the secrets of men, according to my good news, through Jesus Christ.
Mano notimre e odiechiengʼ ma Nyasaye nomi Yesu Kristo teko mar ngʼado bura kuom gik mopondo manie chuny dhano kaka Injili ma ayalo wacho.
17 Behold, you are named a Jew, and rest on the Law, and boast in God,
In iluongori ni ja-Yahudi; kendo iyiengori kuom Chik, kendo ipakori in ngʼat Nyasaye.
18 and know the will, and approve the distinctions, being instructed out of the Law,
Iwacho ni ingʼeyo gima Nyasaye dwaro, kendo inyalo pogo gima ber moloyo nikech isepuonjori chik.
19 and have confidence that you yourself are a leader of blind ones, a light of those in darkness,
Bende iwacho chutho ni in jatend muofni, kendo ni in e ler mar joma ni e mudho;
20 a corrector of foolish ones, a teacher of babies, having the form of the knowledge and of the truth in the Law.
bende ni itayo joma ofuwo, kendo ni in japuonj nyithindo nikech Chik ma in-go otingʼo ngʼeyo kod adiera.
21 You, then, who are teaching another, do you not teach yourself?
In mipuonjo ji mamoko, dak ipuonjri iwuon? In miyalo ni kuo rach, dibed in to ikwala?
22 You who are preaching not to steal, do you steal? You who are saying not to commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who are abhorring the idols, do you rob temples?
In miwacho ni ji kik terre, dibed ni to iterori? In ma ichayo nyiseche manono, dibed ni in to ikwelo ei hekalu mag nyiseche manonogo?
23 You who boast in the Law, through the transgression of the Law do you dishonor God?
In ma isungori nikech Chik ma in-go, dipo ikelo achaya ne Nyasaye kuom ketho Chik?
24 For evil is spoken of the Name of God among the nations because of you, according as it has been written.
Mana kaka ondiki niya, “Nying Nyasaye iyanyo e dier joma ok jo-Yahudi nikech un.”
25 For circumcision, indeed, profits, if you may practice law, but if you may be a transgressor of law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.
Tero ngʼato nyangu nigi ohala mana ka omako Chik, to ka oketho Chik to ochalo ngʼat mane ok oter nyangu.
26 If, therefore, the uncircumcision may keep the righteousness of the Law, will not his uncircumcision be reckoned for circumcision?
Omiyo ka joma ok oter nyangu timo gik ma Chik dwaro, to donge inyalo kwan-gi kaka joma oter nyangu?
27 And the uncircumcision, by nature, fulfilling the Law, will judge you who, through letter and circumcision, [are] a transgressor of law.
Koro ngʼat ma ok oter nyangu e yor ringruok, to oluwo chik, biro ngʼadoni bura, in ma ingʼeyo Ndiko kendo oteri, to iketho chik.
28 For he is not a Jew who is [so] outwardly, neither [is] circumcision that which is outward in flesh;
Ngʼato ok en ja-Yahudi mana kuom nenruokne ma oko kata nikech otere nyangu e ringre ma oko.
29 but a Jew [is] he who is [so] inwardly, and circumcision [is] of the heart, in spirit, not in letter, of which the praise is not of men, but of God.
Ooyo, ja-Yahudi mar adier en ngʼato ma ja-Yahudi gi e chunye kendo tero nyangu mar adier bende en mar chuny, mano en tich Roho to ok mar rito Chik. Ngʼat ma kamano ok yud pak kuom ji, to oyudo pak kuom Nyasaye.
