1 Therefore, you are inexcusable, O man—everyone who is judging—for in that in which you judge the other, yourself you condemn, for the same things you practice who are judging,
ⲁ̅ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲬⲚⲀϢⲈⲢⲞⲨⲰ ⲀⲚ ⲰⲪⲢⲰⲘⲒ ϦⲀ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲦϮϨⲀⲠ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒϨⲀⲠ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲦⲈⲔϮ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲈⲠⲈⲔϢⲪⲎⲢ ⲀⲔϨⲒⲞⲨⲒ ⲘⲘⲞⲔ ⲈⲠϨⲀⲠ ⲘⲘⲀⲨⲀⲦⲔ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ϨⲰⲔ ⲞⲚ ⲈⲦⲈⲔⲒⲢⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ϦⲀ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦϮϨⲀⲠ.
2 and we have known that the judgment of God is according to truth, on those practicing such things.
ⲃ̅ⲦⲈⲚⲈⲘⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ϪⲈ ⲠⲒϨⲀⲠ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲀϤϢⲞⲠ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲞⲨⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲒⲢⲒ ⲚⲚⲀⲒ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ.
3 And do you think this, O man, who are judging those who such things are practicing, and are doing them, that you will escape the judgment of God?
ⲅ̅ⲬⲘⲈⲨⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲐⲞⲔ ⲈⲪⲀⲒ ⲰⲪⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦϮϨⲀⲠ ⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲒⲢⲒ ⲚⲚⲀⲒ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲬⲢⲀ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ϨⲰⲔ ⲞⲚ ϪⲈ ⲀⲚ ⲬⲚⲀϢⲪⲰⲦ ⲚⲐⲞⲔ ⲚⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲒϨⲀⲠ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
4 Or the riches of His goodness, and forbearance, and long-suffering, do you despise, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to conversion?
ⲇ̅ϢⲀⲚ ⲔⲈⲢⲔⲀⲦⲀⲪⲢⲞⲚⲒⲚ ⲚϮⲘⲈⲦⲢⲀⲘⲀⲞ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈϤⲘⲈⲦⲬⲢⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲦⲈϤⲘⲈⲦⲢⲈϤⲈⲢⲀⲚⲈⲬⲈⲤⲐⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲦⲈϤⲘⲈⲦⲢⲈϤⲰⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲎⲦ ⲚⲔⲈⲘⲒ ⲀⲚ ϪⲈ ϮⲘⲈⲦⲬⲢⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲤⲒⲚⲒ ⲘⲘⲞⲔ ⲈⲨⲘⲈⲦⲀⲚⲞⲒⲀ.
5 But according to your hardness and impenitent heart, you treasure up wrath to yourself in [the] day of wrath and of the revelation of the righteous judgment of God,
ⲉ̅ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲆⲈ ⲦⲈⲔⲘⲈⲦⲚⲀϢⲦϨⲎⲦ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲈⲔϨⲎⲦ ⲚⲀⲦⲞⲨⲈⲘϨⲐⲎϤ ⲔϨⲒ ϪⲰⲚⲦ ⲚⲀⲔ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈⲠϪⲰⲚⲦ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲒϬⲰⲢⲠ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒϨⲀⲠ ⲘⲘⲎⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲪϮ
6 who will render to each according to his works;
ⲋ̅ⲪⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲀϮ ⲘⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲚⲈϤϨⲂⲎⲞⲨⲒ.
7 to those, indeed, who in continuance of a good work, seek glory, and honor, and incorruptibility—continuous life; (aiōnios )
ⲍ̅ⲚⲎ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲀⲘⲞⲚⲒ ⲚⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨϨⲰⲂ ⲈⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ⲞⲨⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲦⲀⲒⲞ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲘⲈⲦⲀⲦⲦⲀⲔⲞ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲔⲰϮ ⲚⲤⲀⲞⲨⲰⲚϦ ⲚⲈⲚⲈϨ. (aiōnios )
8 and to those contentious, and disobedient, indeed, to the truth, and obeying the unrighteousness—indignation and wrath,
ⲏ̅ⲚⲎ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨϢϬⲚⲎⲚ ⲚⲈⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲤⲈϮⲘⲀϮ ⲀⲚ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲐⲘⲎⲒ ⲈⲨⲐⲎⲦ ⲆⲈ ⲚϨⲎⲦ ⲚⲈⲘ ϮⲘⲈⲦϬⲒ ⲚϪⲞⲚⲤ ⲞⲨϪⲰⲚⲦ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲘⲂⲞⲚ
9 tribulation and distress, on every soul of man that is working the evil, both of Jew first, and of Greek;
ⲑ̅ⲞⲨϨⲞϪϨⲈϪ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲘⲔⲀϨ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲮⲨⲬⲎ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲒⲢⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲠⲈⲦϨⲰⲞⲨ ⲠⲒⲒⲞⲨⲆⲀⲒ ⲚϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲈⲒⲚⲒⲚ.
10 and glory, and honor, and peace, to everyone who is working the good, both to Jew first, and to Greek.
ⲓ̅ⲞⲨⲰⲞⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲦⲀⲒⲞ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨϨⲒⲢⲎ ⲚⲎ ⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲈⲢϨⲰⲂ ⲈⲠⲒⲀⲄⲀⲐⲞⲚ ⲠⲒⲒⲞⲨⲆⲀⲒ ⲚϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲈⲒⲚⲒⲚ.
11 For there is no favor by appearance with God,
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ⲘⲈⲦⲢⲈϤϬⲒϨⲞ ϦⲀⲦⲈⲚ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
12 for as many as sinned without law, will also perish without law, and as many as sinned in law, through law will be judged,
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲚⲎ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲈⲢⲚⲞⲂⲒ ⲀⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲀⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲞⲚ ⲤⲈⲚⲀⲦⲀⲔⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲈⲢⲚⲞⲂⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲤⲈⲚⲀϮϨⲀⲠ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ.
13 for not the hearers of the Law [are] righteous before God, but the doers of the Law will be declared righteous.
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲞⲨ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲒⲢⲈϤⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲀⲚ ⲚⲈⲚⲒⲐⲘⲎⲒ ϦⲀⲦⲈⲚ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲒⲢⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲈⲦⲞⲨⲚⲀⲐⲘⲀⲒⲰⲞⲨ.
14 For when nations that have no law, by nature may do the things of the Law, these not having a law—to themselves are a law,
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲈⲚⲒⲈⲐⲚⲞⲤ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲘⲘⲞⲚⲦⲞⲨ ⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲪⲨⲤⲒⲤ ⲤⲈⲒⲢⲒ ⲚⲚⲀ ⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲘⲘⲞⲚⲦⲞⲨ ⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲤⲈⲞⲒ ⲚⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲘⲘⲒⲚ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ.
15 who show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience also witnessing with them, and between one another the thoughts accusing or else defending,
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲚⲀⲒ ⲈⲐⲞⲨⲰⲚϨ ⲘⲠⲒϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲈϤⲤϦⲎⲞⲨⲦ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲞⲨϨⲎⲦ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲦⲞⲨⲤⲨⲚⲎⲆⲈⲤⲒⲤ ⲈⲢⲘⲈⲐⲢⲈ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲈⲨⲒ ⲈⲢⲔⲀⲦⲎⲄⲞⲢⲒⲚ ⲞⲨⲦⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲞⲨⲈⲢⲎⲞⲨ ⲒⲈ ⲈⲨⲚⲀⲈⲢⲠⲔⲈⲀⲠⲞⲖⲞⲄⲒⲤⲐⲈ.
16 in the day when God will judge the secrets of men, according to my good news, through Jesus Christ.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ϦⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲀϮϨⲀⲠ ⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲦϨⲎⲠ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲠⲀⲈⲨⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲒⲞⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ.
17 Behold, you are named a Jew, and rest on the Law, and boast in God,
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲒⲤϪⲈ ⲚⲐⲞⲔ ⲔϮⲢⲀⲚ ⲈⲢⲞⲔ ϪⲈ ⲒⲞⲨⲆⲀⲒ ⲔⲘⲞⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲘⲞⲔ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲔϢⲞⲨϢⲞⲨ ⲘⲘⲞⲔ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
18 and know the will, and approve the distinctions, being instructed out of the Law,
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲔⲤⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲔⲈⲢⲆⲞⲔⲒⲘⲀⲌⲒⲚ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲤⲰⲦⲠ ⲔⲈⲢⲔⲀⲐⲎⲔⲒⲚ ⲘⲘⲞⲔ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ
19 and have confidence that you yourself are a leader of blind ones, a light of those in darkness,
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ϨⲐⲎⲔ ⲬⲎ ⲈⲢⲞⲔ ϪⲈ ⲚⲐⲞⲔ ⲞⲨⲢⲈϤϬⲒⲘⲰⲒⲦ ⲚⲚⲒⲂⲈⲖⲖⲈⲨ ⲞⲨⲞⲨⲰⲒⲚⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲦϦⲈⲚ ⲠⲬⲀⲔⲒ.
20 a corrector of foolish ones, a teacher of babies, having the form of the knowledge and of the truth in the Law.
ⲕ̅ⲪⲢⲈϤϮⲤⲂⲰ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲀⲦϨⲎⲦ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲤⲀϦ ⲚⲚⲒⲔⲞⲨϪⲒ ⲚⲀⲖⲰⲞⲨⲒ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲐⲘⲞⲢⲪⲎ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲈⲘⲒ ⲚⲦⲞⲦⲔ ⲚⲈⲘ ϮⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎⲒ ⲈⲦϦⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ
21 You, then, who are teaching another, do you not teach yourself?
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲪⲎ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲦϮⲤⲂⲰ ⲚⲔⲈⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲔϮⲤⲂⲰ ⲚⲀⲔ ⲘⲘⲀⲨⲀⲦⲔ ⲀⲚ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦϨⲒⲰⲒϢ ⲈϢⲦⲈⲘϬⲒⲞⲨⲒ ⲔϬⲒⲞⲨⲒ
22 You who are preaching not to steal, do you steal? You who are saying not to commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who are abhorring the idols, do you rob temples?
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲘⲠⲈⲢⲈⲢⲚⲰⲒⲔ ⲔⲞⲒ ⲚⲚⲰⲒⲔ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲤⲰϤ ⲚⲚⲒⲒⲆⲰⲖⲞⲚ ⲔⲞⲒ ⲚⲔⲀⲖⲠ ⲈⲢⲪⲈⲒ.
23 You who boast in the Law, through the transgression of the Law do you dishonor God?
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦϢⲞⲨϢⲞⲨ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ϮⲠⲀⲢⲀⲂⲀⲤⲒⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲔϢⲰϢ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
24 For evil is spoken of the Name of God among the nations because of you, according as it has been written.
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ⲪⲢⲀⲚ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲤⲈϪⲈⲞⲨⲀ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲈⲐⲚⲞⲤ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲤϦⲎⲞⲨⲦ.
25 For circumcision, indeed, profits, if you may practice law, but if you may be a transgressor of law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.
ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ϨⲎⲞⲨ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲠⲒⲤⲈⲂⲒ ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲀⲔϢⲀⲚⲒⲢⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲔⲞⲒ ⲘⲠⲀⲢⲀⲂⲀⲦⲎ ⲤⲚⲦⲈ ⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲀⲠⲈⲔⲤⲈⲂⲒ ⲀϤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲨⲘⲈⲦⲀⲦⲤⲈⲂⲒ.
26 If, therefore, the uncircumcision may keep the righteousness of the Law, will not his uncircumcision be reckoned for circumcision?
ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲀⲢⲈϢⲀⲚ ϮⲘⲈⲦⲀⲦⲤⲈⲂⲒ ⲀⲢⲈϨ ⲈϮⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲞⲨⲬⲒ ⲦⲈϤⲘⲈⲦⲀⲦⲤⲈⲂⲒ ⲤⲈⲚⲀⲞⲠⲤ ⲈⲨⲤⲈⲂⲒ
27 And the uncircumcision, by nature, fulfilling the Law, will judge you who, through letter and circumcision, [are] a transgressor of law.
ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϮⲪⲨⲤⲒⲔⲎ ⲘⲘⲈⲦⲀⲦⲤⲈⲂⲒ ⲈⲤϪⲰⲔ ⲘⲠϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲤⲚⲀϮϨⲀⲠ ⲈⲢⲞⲔ ϦⲀ ⲠⲒⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲤϦⲀⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲒⲤⲈⲂⲒ ϪⲈ ⲀⲔⲈⲢ ⲞⲨⲠⲀⲢⲀⲂⲀⲦⲎ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ
28 For he is not a Jew who is [so] outwardly, neither [is] circumcision that which is outward in flesh;
ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ⲠⲒⲒⲞⲨⲆⲀⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲀⲚ ⲈⲦϦⲈⲚ ⲠⲈⲐⲞⲨⲞⲚϨ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲒⲒⲞⲨⲆⲀⲒ ⲞⲨⲆⲈ ⲠⲤⲈⲂⲒ ⲀⲚ ⲈⲐⲞⲨⲞⲚϨ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲤⲀⲢⲜ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲒⲤⲈⲂⲒ.
29 but a Jew [is] he who is [so] inwardly, and circumcision [is] of the heart, in spirit, not in letter, of which the praise is not of men, but of God.
ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲠⲒⲒⲞⲨⲆⲀⲒ ⲈⲦϨⲎⲠ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲒⲒⲞⲨⲆⲀⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲒⲤⲈⲂⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒϨⲎⲦ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲤϦⲀⲒ ⲀⲚ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲠⲈϤϢⲞⲨϢⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲠⲈ.
