< Romans 16 >
1 And I commend you to Phoebe our sister—being a servant of the assembly that [is] in Cenchrea—
2 that you may receive her in the LORD, worthily of the holy ones, and may assist her in whatever matter she may have need of you, for she also became a leader of many, and of myself.
ut eam suscipiatis in Domino digne sanctis: et assistatis ei in quocumque negotio vestri indiguerit: etenim ipsa quoque astitit multis, et mihi ipsi.
3 Greet Priscilla and Aquilas, my fellow-workmen in Christ Jesus—
Salutate Priscam et Aquilam, adjutores meos in Christo Jesu
4 who laid down their own neck for my life, to whom not only I give thanks, but also all the assemblies of the nations—
5 and the assembly at their house; greet Epaenetus, my beloved, who is first-fruit of Achaia to Christ.
et domesticam ecclesiam eorum. Salutate Epænetum dilectum mihi, qui est primitivus Asiæ in Christo.
6 Greet Mary, who labored much for us;
Salutate Mariam, quæ multum laboravit in vobis.
7 greet Andronicus and Junias, my relatives, and my fellow-captives, who are of note among the apostles, who also have been in Christ before me.
8 Greet Amplias, my beloved in the LORD;
Salutate Ampliatum dilectissimum mihi in Domino.
9 greet Arbanus, our fellow-workman in Christ, and Stachys, my beloved;
Salutate Urbanum adjutorem nostrum in Christo Jesu, et Stachyn dilectum meum.
10 greet Apelles, the approved in Christ; greet those of the [household] of Aristobulus;
Salutate Apellen probum in Christo.
11 greet Herodion, my relative; greet those of the [household] of Narcissus, who are in the LORD;
Salutate eos qui sunt ex Aristoboli domo. Salutate Herodionem cognatum meum.
12 greet Tryphaena, and Tryphosa, who are laboring in the LORD; greet Persis, the beloved, who labored much in the LORD.
Salutate Tryphænam et Tryphosam, quæ laborant in Domino. Salutate Persidem carissimam, quæ multum laboravit in Domino.
13 Greet Rufus, the chosen one in the LORD, and his mother and mine,
Salutate Rufum electum in Domino, et matrem ejus, et meam.
14 greet Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brothers with them;
15 greet Philologus, and Julias, Nereus, and his sister, and Olympas, and all the holy ones with them;
16 greet one another in a holy kiss; the assemblies of Christ greet you.
Salutate invicem in osculo sancto. Salutant vos omnes ecclesiæ Christi.
17 And I call on you, brothers, to mark those who are causing the divisions and the stumbling-blocks, contrary to the teaching that you learned, and turn away from them;
18 for such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and through the good word and fair speech they deceive the hearts of the harmless.
19 For your obedience reached to all; I rejoice, therefore, as regards you, and I wish you to be wise, indeed, as to the good, and pure as to the evil;
Gaudeo igitur in vobis.
20 and the God of peace will bruise Satan under your feet quickly; the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you. Amen!
Deus autem pacis conterat Satanam sub pedibus vestris velociter. Gratia Domini nostri Jesu Christi vobiscum.
21 Timotheus greets you, my fellow-workman, and Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater, my relatives;
Salutat vos Timotheus adjutor meus, et Lucius, et Jason, et Sosipater cognati mei.
22 I, Tertius, greet you (who wrote the letter) in the LORD;
Saluto vos ego Tertius, qui scripsi epistolam, in Domino.
23 Gaius greets you, my host, and of the whole Assembly; Erastus greets you, the steward of the city, and Quartus the brother.
Salutat vos Cajus hospes meus, et universa ecclesia. Salutat vos Erastus arcarius civitatis, et Quartus, frater.
24 [[The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you all! Amen.]]
Gratia Domini nostri Jesu Christi cum omnibus vobis. Amen.
25 And to Him who is able to establish you, according to my good news, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the secret, having been kept secret in the times of the ages, (aiōnios )
26 and now having been revealed, also, through prophetic writings, according to a command of the perpetual God, having been made known to all the nations for obedience of faith— (aiōnios )
27 to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, to Him [be] glory for all ages. Amen.
Amen. (aiōn )
