Romans 16
1 And I commend you to Phoebe our sister—being a servant of the assembly that [is] in Cenchrea—
Und nun empfehle ich euch unsere Schwester Phöbe; sie ist in Kenchreae im Dienste der Gemeinde.
2 that you may receive her in the LORD, worthily of the holy ones, and may assist her in whatever matter she may have need of you, for she also became a leader of many, and of myself.
Nehmt sie im Herrn auf, so wie es sich für Heilige geziemt. Steht ihr in all den Anliegen bei, in denen sie euch etwa braucht. Sie ist ja vielen beigestanden, auch mir selbst.
3 Greet Priscilla and Aquilas, my fellow-workmen in Christ Jesus—
Grüßt Priska und den Aquila, meine Mitarbeiter in Christus Jesus.
4 who laid down their own neck for my life, to whom not only I give thanks, but also all the assemblies of the nations—
Sie haben ihren Nacken für mein Leben dargeboten. Nicht bloß ich bin ihnen dafür dankbar, auch alle Heidengemeinden.
5 and the assembly at their house; greet Epaenetus, my beloved, who is first-fruit of Achaia to Christ.
Grüßt besonders ihre Hausgemeinde. Grüßt meinen vielgeliebten Epänetus, ist er doch die Erstlingsgabe Asiens für Christus.
6 Greet Mary, who labored much for us;
Grüßt Maria, die so vieles unter euch gewirkt hat.
7 greet Andronicus and Junias, my relatives, and my fellow-captives, who are of note among the apostles, who also have been in Christ before me.
Grüßt Andronikus, sowie Junias, meine Landsleute und Mitgefangenen, bei den Aposteln hochberühmt und länger schon als ich Christen.
8 Greet Amplias, my beloved in the LORD;
Grüßt meinen Ampliatus, vielgeliebt im Herrn.
9 greet Arbanus, our fellow-workman in Christ, and Stachys, my beloved;
Grüßt unseren Mitarbeiter in Christus, Urbanus, und meinen geliebten Stachys!
10 greet Apelles, the approved in Christ; greet those of the [household] of Aristobulus;
Grüßt Apelles, den in Christus wohlbewährten! Grüßt die Hausgenossen des Aristobul!
11 greet Herodion, my relative; greet those of the [household] of Narcissus, who are in the LORD;
Grüßt den Herodion, meinen Landsmann! Grüßt die Hausgenossen des Narzissus, die im Herrn leben.
12 greet Tryphaena, and Tryphosa, who are laboring in the LORD; greet Persis, the beloved, who labored much in the LORD.
Grüßt Tryphäna und Tryphosa, die sich im Herrn abgemüht haben. Grüßt die geliebte Persis, die sich so sehr im Herrn gemüht hat.
13 Greet Rufus, the chosen one in the LORD, and his mother and mine,
Grüßt Rufus, den im Herrn Auserwählten, und seine Mutter, die auch mir zur Mutter ward.
14 greet Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brothers with them;
Grüßt Asynkritus, Phlegon, Hermes, Patrobas, Hermas und die Brüder, die dort sind.
15 greet Philologus, and Julias, Nereus, and his sister, and Olympas, and all the holy ones with them;
Grüßt Philologus und Julia, Nereus und seine Schwester, Olympias und seine Heiligen, die bei ihnen sind.
16 greet one another in a holy kiss; the assemblies of Christ greet you.
Grüßt mit heiligem Kuß euch gegenseitig. Alle Gemeinden Christi grüßen euch.
17 And I call on you, brothers, to mark those who are causing the divisions and the stumbling-blocks, contrary to the teaching that you learned, and turn away from them;
Ich bitte euch aber, liebe Brüder, daß ihr die im Auge behaltet, die Spaltungen und Ärgernisse erregen im Widerspruch zur Lehre, die ihr vernommen habt. Haltet euch von ihnen fern!
18 for such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and through the good word and fair speech they deceive the hearts of the harmless.
Denn solche dienen nicht unserem Herrn Christus, sondern ihrem eigenen Bauche. Mit ihren frommen, schönen Reden verführen sie die Herzen Argloser.
19 For your obedience reached to all; I rejoice, therefore, as regards you, and I wish you to be wise, indeed, as to the good, and pure as to the evil;
Überall ist euer Gehorsam wohlbekannt, und darum freue ich mich über euch. Ich wünsche nur, daß ihr im Guten weise seid, dem Bösen aber gegenüber unverdorben.
20 and the God of peace will bruise Satan under your feet quickly; the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you. Amen!
Der Gott des Friedens wird schnell den Satan unter euren Füßen zermalmen. Die Gnade unseres Herrn Jesus Christus sei mit euch!
21 Timotheus greets you, my fellow-workman, and Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater, my relatives;
Timotheus, mein Mitarbeiter, grüßt euch, ebenso meine Landsleute Luzius, Jason und Sosipater.
22 I, Tertius, greet you (who wrote the letter) in the LORD;
Auch ich, Tertius, der diesen Brief im Herrn geschrieben hat, grüße euch.
23 Gaius greets you, my host, and of the whole Assembly; Erastus greets you, the steward of the city, and Quartus the brother.
Es grüßt euch Gajus, mein sowie der ganzen Gemeinde Gastgeber. Es grüßt euch Erastus, der Stadtpfleger, sowie der Bruder Quartus.

Die Gnade unseres Herrn Jesus Christus sei mit euch allen! Amen.
25 And to Him who is able to establish you, according to my good news, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the secret, having been kept secret in the times of the ages, (aiōnios g166)

26 and now having been revealed, also, through prophetic writings, according to a command of the perpetual God, having been made known to all the nations for obedience of faith— (aiōnios g166)
jetzt aber wird es durch Prophetenschriften im Auftrag des ewigen Gottes bei allen Völkern verkündet für den Glaubensgehorsam -, (aiōnios g166)
