< Romans 13 >
1 Let every soul be subject to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and the authorities existing are appointed by God,
Mi khudingmakna angam athousinggi makha pon-gadabani, maramdi Tengban Mapugi ayaba yaodana angam athou leite aduga leiriba angam athousing asi Tengban Mapuna thamlibani.
2 so that he who is setting himself against the authority, has resisted against God’s ordinance; and those resisting will receive judgment to themselves.
Maram aduna angam athougi maiyokta leiba mahak aduna Tengban Mapuna lingkhatpikhraba adugi maiyokta leibani; asigumba mising aduna makhoi masagi mathakta wayel pujarakkani.
3 For those ruling are not a terror to the good works, but to the evil; and do you wish to not be afraid of the authority? Be doing that which is good, and you will have praise from it,
Maramdi achumba toubasingda leingakpasingna akiba oihande adubu phattaba toubasingdadi akiba oihalli. Nahakna leingakpabu kibadagi ningtamba pambra? Adu oirabadi achumba tou, aduga makhoina nahakpu thagatkani.
4 for it is a servant of God to you for good; and if you may do that which is evil, be fearing, for it does not bear the sword in vain; for it is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who is doing that which is evil.
Maramdi angam athou oiriba mahak adudi nahakki aphaba oinaba Tengban Mapugi thougal toubasingni. Adubu nahakna aranba tourabadi, kiyu, maramdi leingakpasingna maram leitana makhoina thangsang puba natte. Makhoidi aranba touba misinggi mathakta cheirak pinanaba, Tengban Mapugi thougal touba misingni.
5 For this reason it is necessary to be subject, not only because of the wrath, but also because of the conscience,
Maram aduna Tengban Mapugi cheirak khaktagi nattana achum aran khangba pukninggi maramgidamaksu angam athousinggi makha pon-gadabani.
6 for because of this you also pay tribute; for they are servants of God, on this very thing attending continually;
Masigi maramgidamak nakhoina kanggat piribani, maramdi angam athousing asi leingakpada makhoigi matam pumba piba Tengban Mapugi manaisingni.
7 render, therefore, to all [their] dues; to whom tribute, the tribute; to whom custom, the custom; to whom fear, the fear; to whom honor, the honor.
Nahakna laman tonbasing aduda nahakki pipham thokpasing adu piyu: kanggat oirabadi, kanggat piyu; lan-thumgi kanggatsinggi oirabadi, lan-thumgi kanggat piyu; nolukpa oirabadi, nolukpa utlu; ikai khumnaba oirabadi, ikaikhumnaba piyu.
8 To no one owe anything, except to love one another; for he who is loving the other—he has fulfilled law,
Amaga amaga nungsibagi laman tonba nattana mi kana amatagi laman ton-ganu, maramdi atoppa misingbu nungsiba mahak aduna Wayel Yathang adu thunghalle.
9 for, “You will not commit adultery, You will not murder, You will not steal, You will not bear false testimony, You will not covet”; and if there is any other command, in this word it is summed up, in this: “You will love your neighbor as yourself”;
Wayel yathangsingdi, “Nahakna mitu miwa lannaroidabani,” “Nahakna mi hatloidabani,” “Nahakna huranloidabani,” “Nahakna aranba sakhi piroidabani,” “Nahakna karamloidabani,” aduga atoppa yathangsing leirabasu hairiba yathang asida suplabani, “Nahakna nahakki yumlon keironnabasingbu nasamakkumna nungsiyu.”
10 the love to the neighbor works no ill; the love, therefore, [is] the fullness of law.
Nungsibana yumlon keironnabagi mangnaba toude. Maram aduna nungsiba haibasi Wayel Yathangbu mapung phana inbani.
11 And this, knowing the time, that for us, the hour already [is] to be aroused out of sleep, for now our salvation [is] nearer than when we believed;
Nahakna masi tougadabani, maramdi houjik nahak tumbadagi hougatpa matam adu lakle haiba nahakna khang-i. Maramdi eikhoina ahanba thajakhiba matamdagi houjikna henna eikhoigi aran-khubham adu naksillakle.
12 the night advanced, and the day came near; let us lay aside, therefore, the works of the darkness, and let us put on the armor of the light;
Ahinggi matam houkhigadoure, nongallakkadoure. Maram aduna eikhoina amambagi thabaksing thadoktuna mangalgi lan phijet setlasi.
13 as in daytime, let us walk properly; not in reveling and drunkenness, not in promiscuity and licentiousness, not in strife and jealousy;
Nungthilgi matamda chatpa lichatkumna eikhoigi lichat chumna chatsi, eikhoina yu thaktuna nungaithokpa amasung yu ngaoba, lamchat naidaba amasung akamba phajadaba lamchat chatpa, khatna cheinaba amasung kallakpa asising asi tougumsi.
14 but put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and take no forethought for the flesh—for desires.
Adubu nakhoina Mapu Ibungo Jisu Christtabu phigumna setlu aduga hakchanggi apambasing adu karamna thunghan-gadage haina wakhal khan-ganu.
