< Revelation 8 >
1 And when He opens the seventh seal, there came silence in Heaven about half an hour,
Bere a Oguamma no tew nsɔwano a ɛto so ason no, ɔsoro nyinaa tɛm dinn bɛyɛ dɔnhwerew fa.
2 and I saw the seven messengers who have stood before God, and there were given to them seven trumpets,
Afei mihuu abɔfo baason a wogyinagyina Onyankopɔn anim. Wɔmemaa wɔn ntorobɛnto ason.
3 and another messenger came, and he stood at the altar, having a golden censer, and there was given to him much incense, that he may give [it] to the prayers of all the holy ones on the golden altar that [is] before the throne,
Ɔbɔfo foforo a na ɔwɔ sikakɔkɔɔ aduhuam adaka begyinaa afɔremuka no ho. Wɔmaa no aduhuam bebree sɛ ɔmfa mmɔ mpae nka Onyankopɔn nkurɔfo no de ho, na ɔmmɔ sikakɔkɔɔ a esi ahengua no anim no so afɔre.
4 and the smoke of the incenses, with the prayers of the holy ones, went up before God out of the hand of the messenger;
Aduhuam no hua ne Onyankopɔn nkurɔfo mpae fi abɔfo no nsam kɔɔ ɔsoro.
5 and the messenger took the censer, and filled it out of the fire of the altar, and cast [it] to the earth, and there came voices, and thunders, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
Afei ɔbɔfo no faa aduhuam adaka no de ogya a efi afɔremuka no so hyɛɛ no ma, tow kyenee asase so. Na aprannaa ne nne ahorow ne anyinam ne asasewosow bae.
6 And the seven messengers who are having the seven trumpets prepared themselves that they may sound the trumpets;
Na abɔfo baason a wokurakura ntorobɛnto ason no siesiee wɔn ho sɛ wɔrebɛhyɛn.
7 and the first messenger sounded the trumpet, and there came hail and fire, mingled with blood, and it was cast to the earth, and the third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.
Ɔbɔfo a odi kan no hyɛn ne torobɛnto.
8 And the second messenger sounded the trumpet, and [something] like a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea, and the third of the sea became blood,
Afei ɔbɔfo a ɔto so abien no hyɛn ne torobɛnto. Wɔtow biribi a ɛte sɛ bepɔw kɛse a ɛredɛw kyenee po mu. Po no nkyɛmu abiɛsa mu baako dan mogya.
9 and the third of the creatures that [are] in the sea died, those having life, and the third of the ships were destroyed.
Na abɔde a ɛwɔ nkwa a ɛwɔ po no mu nkyɛmu abiɛsa mu baako wuwui, na ahyɛn mu nkyɛmu abiɛsa mu baako bobɔe.
10 And the third messenger sounded the trumpet, and there fell out of the sky a great star, burning as a lamp, and it fell on the third of the rivers, and on the fountains of waters,
Afei ɔbɔfo a ɔto so abiɛsa hyɛn ne torobɛnto. Nsoromma kɛse bi a ɛredɛw sɛ ogyatɛn tew fii ɔsoro bɛhwee nsu nkyɛmu abiɛsa mu baako mu.
11 and the name of the star is called Wormwood, and the third of the waters become wormwood, and many of the men died [because] of the waters, because they were made bitter.
Nsoromma no din de “Anwɔnwen.” Nsu no nkyɛmu abiɛsa mu baako yɛɛ nwen, na nnipa a wɔnomee no mu bebree wuwui, efisɛ na ayɛ nwen.
12 And the fourth messenger sounded the trumpet, and the third of the sun was struck, and the third of the moon, and the third of the stars, that the third of them may be darkened, and that the day may not shine—the third of it, and the night in like manner.
Afei ɔbɔfo a ɔto so anan no hyɛn ne torobɛnto.
13 And I saw, and I heard one messenger, flying in midair, saying with a great voice, “Woe, woe, woe, to those dwelling on the earth because of the rest of the voices of the trumpet of the three messengers being about to sound trumpets.”
Na merehwɛ no, metee sɛ ɔkɔre bi a watu nam wim teɛ mu se, “Wɔn a wɔte asase so no nnue; wonnue, wonnue esiane torobɛnto a aka a abɔfo baasa no rebɛhyɛn no nti.”
