Revelation 7
1 And after these things I saw four messengers, standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind may not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree;
Sesudah kejadian itu, saya melihat lagi empat malaikat berdiri pada keempat penjuru bumi. Mereka menahan keempat angin bumi, yaitu timur, barat, utara, selatan, sehingga angin tidak bertiup di mana-mana, baik di darat, di laut, maupun di pepohonan.
2 and I saw another messenger going up from the rising of the sun, having a seal of the living God, and he cried with a great voice to the four messengers, to whom it was given to injure the land and the sea, saying,
Keempat malaikat itu sudah menerima kuasa dari Allah untuk merusak bumi dan laut. Tetapi kemudian saya melihat malaikat lain muncul dari timur dengan membawa sebuah alat meterai untuk memberi cap sebagai tanda milik Allah yang hidup. Malaikat ini berseru kepada empat malaikat tadi,
3 “Do not injure the land, nor the sea, nor the trees, until we may seal the servants of our God on their foreheads.”
“Janganlah merusak bumi, laut, atau pohon-pohon sebelum kami memberi tanda cap pada dahi setiap orang yang melayani Allah.”
4 And I heard the number of those sealed—one hundred forty-four thousand, having been sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Israel:
Kemudian saya mendengar bahwa orang yang diberi tanda cap itu berjumlah 144.000 orang. Mereka berasal dari semua suku Israel.
5 of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand were sealed;
Jadi ada 12.000 orang dari setiap suku, yaitu suku Yehuda, Ruben, Gad,
6 of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand were sealed;
Asyer, Naftali, Manasye,
7 of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand were sealed;
Simeon, Lewi, Isakar,
8 of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were sealed.
Zebulon, Yusuf, dan Benyamin.
9 After these things I saw, and behold, a great multitude, which no one was able to number, out of all nations, and tribes, and peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne, and before the Lamb, having been clothed [in] white robes, and palms in their hands,
Kemudian saya melihat kumpulan besar orang yang tidak terhitung banyaknya. Mereka berasal dari setiap suku bahasa, bangsa, dan negara. Di hadapan takhta Allah dan di hadapan Anak Domba, mereka semua berdiri dengan memakai jubah putih dan memegang daun-daun palem.
10 and crying with a great voice, saying, “Salvation to our God, the [One] sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
Mereka berseru-seru, “Terpujilah sumber keselamatan kami, yaitu Allah yang duduk di takhta kerajaan-Nya dan Sang Anak Domba yang diutus-Nya!”
11 And all the messengers stood around the throne, and the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces and worshiped God,
Para malaikat, kedua puluh empat pemimpin, dan keempat makhluk tadi masih berdiri mengelilingi takhta Allah. Waktu mereka mendengar pujian dari umat Allah yang sangat banyak itu, mereka semua langsung tersungkur di hadapan takhta Allah dan menyembah-Nya.
12 saying, “Amen! The blessing, and the glory, and the wisdom, and the thanksgiving, and the honor, and the power, and the strength, [are] to our God through the ages of the ages! Amen!” (aiōn g165)
Mereka semua berseru, “Amin! Bagi Allah segala pujian, kemuliaan, hikmat, syukur, hormat, kuasa, dan kekuatan sampai selama-lamanya. Amin!” (aiōn g165)
13 And one of the elders answered, saying to me, “These having been clothed with the white robes, who are they, and from where have they come?”
Kemudian salah satu dari para pemimpin itu bertanya kepada saya, “Apakah kamu tahu siapa mereka yang memakai jubah putih itu? Dari mana mereka datang?”
14 And I have said to him, “Lord, you have known”; and he said to me, “These are those who are coming out of the Great Tribulation, and they washed their robes, and they made their robes white in the blood of the Lamb;
Saya menjawabnya, “Tuan, saya tidak tahu. Tolong beritahu saya.” Lalu dia berkata kepada saya, “Mereka adalah orang-orang yang sudah menjalani penganiayaan yang sangat berat itu. Mereka sudah membasuh jubah mereka dengan darah Anak Domba, dan darah-Nya juga yang membuat jubah mereka putih bersih.
15 because of this they are before the throne of God, and they do service to Him day and night in His temple, and He who is sitting on the throne will dwell over them;
Itu sebabnya mereka berhak datang ke hadapan takhta Allah, dan dengan semangat mereka beribadah kepada-Nya siang dan malam di sini, di Rumah surgawi-Nya. Dia yang duduk di atas takhta kerajaan akan selalu melindungi mereka.
16 they will not hunger anymore, nor may the sun fall on them, nor any heat,
Orang-orang itu tidak akan pernah lapar dan haus lagi. Panas terik matahari tidak akan menyengat mereka lagi.
17 because the Lamb that [is] in the midst of the throne will feed them, and will lead them to living fountains of waters, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
Karena Anak Domba yang berada paling dekat dengan takhta Allah akan menggembalakan mereka serta menuntun mereka ke sumber air yang memberi hidup. Dan Allah akan ‘menghapus semua air mata dari mata mereka.’”
