Revelation 22

1 And he showed me [the] river of [the] water of life, radiant as crystal, going forth out of the throne of God and of the Lamb

ⲁ̅ⲁϥⲧⲥⲁⲃⲟⲓ ⲉⲩⲉⲓⲉⲣⲟ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲉϥⲟⲛϩ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲟⲃϣ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲕⲣⲩⲥⲧⲁⲗⲟⲥ ⲉϥⲛⲏⲩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙⲡⲉⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲙⲛⲡⲉϩⲓⲉⲓⲃ

2 in the midst of its street, and of the river on this side and on that—[the] Tree of Life, producing twelve fruits, yielding its fruit according to each month, and the leaves of the tree [are] for the healing of the nations;

ⲃ̅ⲉⲧⲛⲧⲙⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲡⲗⲁⲧⲉⲓⲁ ⲛⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲉⲣⲉⲟⲩϣⲏⲛ ⲛⲱⲛϩ ϩⲓⲡⲉⲓⲥⲁ ⲙⲛⲡⲁⲓ ⲙⲡⲉⲓⲉⲣⲟ ⲉϥⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲙⲙⲛⲧⲥⲛⲟⲟⲩⲥ ⲛⲕⲁⲣⲡⲟⲥ ⲉϥϯ ⲙⲡⲉϥⲕⲁⲣⲡⲟⲥ̅ ϩⲣⲉⲉⲃⲟⲧ ⲉⲣⲉⲛⲉϥϭⲱⲱⲃⲉ ϣⲟⲟⲡ ⲉⲩⲑⲉⲣⲁⲡⲓⲁ ⲛⲉⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ

3 and there will no longer be any curse, and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His servants will serve Him,

ⲅ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲛⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲛⲃⲟⲧⲉ ⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲉ ϫⲓⲛ ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩ ϥⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲇⲉ ϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲛϩⲏⲧⲥ ⲛϭⲓⲡⲉⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲙⲛⲡⲉϩⲓⲉⲓⲃ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϥϩⲙϩⲁⲗ ⲛⲁϣⲙϣⲉ ⲛⲁϥ

4 and they will see His face, and His Name [is] on their foreheads,

ⲇ̅ⲛⲥⲉⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲡⲉϥϩⲟ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲥⲏϩ ⲉϫⲛⲧⲉⲩⲧⲉϩⲛⲉ

5 and there will be no night there, and they have no need of [the] light of a lamp and of [the] light of [the] sun, because the LORD God gives them light, and they will reign through the ages of the ages. (aiōn g165)

ⲉ̅ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲙⲟⲩϣⲏ ϭⲉ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲛⲥⲉⲧⲙⲣⲭⲣⲓⲁ ϭⲉ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓⲛ ⲛⲉⲛϩⲏⲃⲥ ⲙⲛⲡⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓⲛ ⲙⲡⲣⲏ ϫⲉ ⲡϫ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲣⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓⲛ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲥⲉⲣⲣⲣⲟ ϣⲁⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ (aiōn g165)

6 And he said to me, “These words [are] steadfast and true, and the LORD God of the holy prophets sent His messenger to show to His servants the things that must come quickly.

ⲋ̅ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲓ ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲓϣⲁϫⲉ ⲥⲙⲟⲛⲧ ⲁⲩⲱ ϩⲉⲛⲙⲉ ⲛⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡϫ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛⲛⲉⲡ̅ⲛ̅ⲁ̅ ⲛⲛⲉⲡⲣⲟⲫⲩⲧⲏⲥ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲩⲟ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲡⲉϥⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲛⲉϥϩⲙϩⲁⲗ ⲉⲛⲉⲧⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲉ ϩⲛⲟⲩϭⲉⲡⲏ

7 Behold, I come quickly; blessed [is] he who is keeping the words of the prophecy of this scroll.”

ⲍ̅ⲉⲓⲥϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ϯⲛⲏⲩ ⲧⲁⲭⲏ ⲛⲁⲓⲁⲧϥ ⲙⲡⲉⲧϩⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲛϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲓⲡⲣⲟⲫⲩⲧⲓⲁ ⲙⲡⲉⲓϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ

8 And I, John, am he who is seeing these things and hearing, and when I heard and beheld, I fell down to worship before the feet of the messenger who is showing me these things;

ⲏ̅ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ̅ ⲓⲱϩⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲡⲉⲧⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲧⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲧⲉⲣⲉⲓⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲓⲡⲁϩⲧ ⲉⲧⲣⲁⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ̅ ⲙⲡⲙⲧⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲣⲏⲏⲧⲉ ⲙⲡⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲧⲥⲁⲃⲟ ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲉⲛⲁⲓ

9 and he says to me, “Behold—No! For I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers the prophets, and of those keeping the words of this scroll; worship God.”

ⲑ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲓ ϫⲉ ⲙⲡⲱⲣ ⲁⲛⲅⲡⲉⲕϣⲃⲏⲣϩⲙϩⲁⲗ ⲙⲛⲛⲉⲕⲕⲉⲥⲛⲏⲩ ⲛⲉⲡⲣⲟⲫⲩⲧⲏⲥ ⲙⲛⲛⲉⲧϩⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲛϣⲁϫⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲓϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ ⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲙⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ

10 And He says to me, “You may not seal the words of the prophecy of this scroll, because the time is near.

ⲓ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲙⲡⲣⲧⲱⲱⲃⲉ ⲛⲉⲛϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲓⲡⲣⲟⲫⲩⲧⲓⲁ ⲙⲡⲉⲓϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁⲡⲉⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓϣ ⲅⲁⲣ ϩⲱⲛ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ

11 The [one] being unrighteous—let him be unrighteous still; and the filthy—let him be filthy still; and the righteous—let him do righteousness still; and the holy—let him be holy still.

ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲡⲉⲧϫⲓ ⲛϭⲟⲛⲥ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥϫⲓ ⲛϭⲟⲛⲥ ⲟⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲧϫⲁϩⲙ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥϫⲱϩⲙ ⲟⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲣⲇⲓⲕⲁⲓⲟⲥⲩⲛⲏ ⲟⲛ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲧⲃⲃⲟϥ ⲟⲛ

12 Behold, I come quickly, and My reward [is] with Me, to render to each as his work will be;

ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲉⲓⲥϩⲏⲏⲧⲉ ϯⲛⲏⲩ ϩⲛⲟⲩϭⲉⲡⲏ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲃⲉⲕⲉ ⲛⲙⲙⲁⲓ ⲉϯ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲕⲁⲧⲁⲛⲉϥϩⲃⲏⲩⲉ

13 I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and End—the First and the Last.

ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲗⲫⲁ ⲁⲩⲱ̅ ⲱ̅ ⲡϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡϩⲁⲏ ⲧⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡϫⲱⲕ

14 Blessed are those washing their robes that the authority will be theirs to the Tree of Life, and they may enter into the city by the gates;

ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲛⲁⲓⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲧⲃⲃⲟ ⲛⲛⲉⲩⲥⲧⲟⲗⲏ ϫⲉ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲩⲉⲝⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲡϣⲏⲛ ⲙⲡⲱⲛϩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲥⲉⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲓⲧⲛⲙⲡⲩⲗⲏ ⲉϩⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ

15 and outside [are] the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the whoremongers, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and everyone cherishing and doing falsehood.

ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲛⲟⲩϫⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲛⲛⲉⲩϩⲟⲟⲣ ⲙⲛⲛⲉⲫⲁⲣⲙⲁⲕⲟⲥ ⲙⲛⲙⲡⲟⲣⲛⲟⲥ ⲙⲛⲛⲣⲉϥϩⲱⲧⲃ ⲙⲛⲛⲣⲉϥϣⲙϣⲉⲉⲓⲇⲱⲗⲟⲛ ⲙⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧⲉⲓⲣⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲧⲙⲉ ⲙⲡϭⲟⲗ

16 I, Jesus, sent My messenger to testify to you these things concerning the assemblies; I am the root and the offspring of David, the radiant morning star!

ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁⲓⲧⲛⲛⲟⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲣⲉϥⲣⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ⲛⲏⲧⲛ ⲛⲛⲁⲓ ϩⲛⲛⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ ⲧⲛⲟⲩⲛⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲅⲉⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲇⲁⲩⲉⲓⲇ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲥⲓⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲛⲁⲩ ⲛϩⲧⲟⲟⲩⲉ ⲉⲧⲟ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲉⲓⲛ

17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come! And he who is hearing—let him say, Come! And he who is thirsting—let him come; and he who is willing—let him take the water of life freely.

ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲡ̅ⲛ̅ⲁ̅ ⲙⲛⲧϣⲉⲗⲉⲉⲧ ⲥⲉϫⲱ ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲧⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥϫⲟⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧⲟⲃⲉ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲉⲓ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲧⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥϫⲓⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲱⲛϩ ⲛϫⲓⲛϫⲏ

18 For I testify to everyone hearing the words of the prophecy of this scroll, if anyone may add to these, God will add to him the plagues that have been written in this scroll,

ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ϯⲣⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ⲁⲛⲅ ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧⲥⲱⲧⲙ ⲉⲛϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲓⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲉⲓⲁ ⲙⲡⲉⲓϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱϩ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲱϥ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱϩ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲱϥ ⲛⲛⲉⲡⲗⲏⲅⲏ ⲉⲧⲥⲏϩ ⲉⲡⲉⲓϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ

19 and if anyone may take away from the words of the scroll of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the Scroll of Life, and out of the holy city, and the things that have been written in this scroll.”

ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲁⲩⲱ ⲡⲉⲧⲛⲁϥⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲛϣⲁϫⲉ ⲙⲡϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲓⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲉⲓⲁ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛⲁϥⲓⲡⲉϥⲙⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲙⲡϣⲏⲛ ⲙⲡⲱⲛϩ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲛⲧⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲥⲏϩ ⲉⲡⲉⲓϫⲱⲱⲙⲉ

20 The [One] testifying [to] these things says, “Yes, I come quickly!” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!

ⲕ̅ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛϭⲓⲡⲉⲧⲣⲙⲛⲧⲣⲉ ⲛⲛⲁⲓ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉ ϯⲛⲏⲩ ϩⲛⲟⲩϭⲉⲡⲏ ⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲓ̅ⲥ̅

21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [is] with all [[the holy ones. Amen.]]

ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲧⲉⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥ ⲙⲡⲉⲛϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲓ̅ⲥ̅ ⲙⲛⲛⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲙⲏⲛ ⲧⲁⲡⲟⲕⲁⲗⲩⲯⲓⲥ ⲛⲓⲱϩⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⲉⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲧⲟⲓⲥ ⲁⲅⲓⲟⲓⲥ
