< Revelation 20 >
1 And I saw a messenger coming down out of Heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain over his hand, (Abyssos )
Pea ne u mamata ki ha ʻāngelo naʻe ʻalu hifo mei langi, kuo ʻiate ia ʻae kī ʻoe luo taʻehanotakele, mo e ukamea fihifihi mo lahi ʻi hono nima. (Abyssos )
2 and he laid hold on the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is [the] Devil and Satan, and bound him one thousand years,
Pea naʻa ne puke ʻae fuʻu ngata, ʻae ngata motuʻa ko ia, ʻaia ko e Tēvolo, mo Sētane, pea ne haʻi ia ʻi he taʻu ʻe afe,
3 and he cast him into the abyss, and shut him up, and put a seal on him, that he may no longer lead the nations astray, until the one thousand years may be completed; and after these it is necessary for him to be loosed a short time. (Abyssos )
ʻO ne lī ia ki he luo taʻehanotakele, mo tāpuni ia ki ai, pea ne ʻai ki ai ʻae meʻa fakamaʻu, koeʻuhi ke ʻoua naʻa ne kei kākaaʻi ʻae ngaahi puleʻanga, kaeʻoua ke kakato ʻae taʻu ʻe afe: pea hili ia, ʻe vete ange ia ʻi ha kuonga siʻi. (Abyssos )
4 And I saw thrones, and they [that] sat on them, and judgment was given to them, and the souls of those who have been beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus, and because of the word of God, and who did not worship the beast, nor his image, and did not receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand, and they lived and reigned with the Christ one thousand years;
Pea ne u mamata ki he ngaahi nofoʻa fakaʻeiʻeiki, mo kinautolu naʻe nofo ai, pea naʻe tuku ʻae fakamaau kiate kinautolu: pea [ne u mamata ]ki he ngaahi laumālie ʻokinautolu naʻe tutuʻu honau ʻulu ko e meʻa ʻi he fakamoʻoni kia Sisu, mo e folofola ʻae ʻOtua, pea kuo ʻikai te nau hū ki he manu fekai, pe ko hono fakatātā, pea kuo ʻikai te nau maʻu ʻae fakaʻilonga ʻi honau foʻi laʻē, pe ʻi honau nima; pea naʻa nau moʻui, mo pule mo Kalaisi ʻi he taʻu ʻe taha afe.
5 and the rest of the dead did not live again until the one thousand years may be completed; this [is] the first resurrection.
Ka ko hono toe ʻoe pekia, naʻe ʻikai te nau toe moʻui kaeʻoua ke kakato ʻae taʻu ʻe afe. Ko eni ʻae ʻuluaki toetuʻu.
6 Blessed and holy—he who is having part in the first resurrection; the second death has no authority over these, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will reign with Him one thousand years.
ʻOku monūʻia mo māʻoniʻoni ia ʻoku ne kau ʻi he ʻuluaki toetuʻu: ʻe ʻikai ikuna ʻakinautolu ʻe he mate ʻangaua, ka te nau hoko ko e kau taulaʻeiki ʻae ʻOtua mo Kalaisi, pea te nau pule mo ia ʻi he taʻu ʻe taha afe.
7 And when the one thousand years may be completed, Satan will be loosed out of his prison,
Pea ka kakato ʻae taʻu ʻe afe, ʻe vete ange ʻa Sētane mei hono fale fakapōpula,
8 and he will go forth to lead the nations astray, that are in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—to gather them together to war, of whom the number—as the sand of the sea;
Pea ʻe ʻalu atu ia ke ne kākaaʻi ʻae ngaahi puleʻanga ʻi he feituʻu ʻe fā ʻo māmani, ʻa Koki mo Mekoki, ke tānaki ʻo fakataha ʻakinautolu ki he tau: ko hono lau ʻokinautolu ʻoku tatau mo e ʻoneʻone ʻi he matātahi.
9 and they went up over the breadth of the land, and surrounded the camp of the holy ones, and the beloved city, and there came down fire from God out of Heaven, and devoured them;
Pea naʻa nau ʻalu hake ʻi hono māukupu ʻoe fonua, ʻonau ʻāʻi takatakai ʻae nofoʻanga tau ʻoe kakai māʻoniʻoni, mo e kolo ʻofeina: pea naʻe ʻalu hifo ʻae afi mei he ʻOtua ʻi he langi, ʻo fakaʻauha ʻakinautolu.
10 and the Devil, who is leading them astray, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet [are], and they will be tormented day and night through the ages of the ages. (aiōn , Limnē Pyr )
Pea ko e tēvolo naʻa ne kākaaʻi ʻakinautolu, naʻe lī ia ki he ano ʻoe afi mo e sulifa, ʻaia ʻoku ʻi ai ʻae manu fekai mo e palōfita loi; pea ʻe fakamamahiʻi ia ʻi he ʻaho mo e pō ʻo taʻengata pea taʻengata. (aiōn , Limnē Pyr )
11 And I saw a great white throne, and Him who is sitting on it, from whose face the earth and the sky fled away, and no place was found for them;
Pea ne u mamata ki he nofoʻa fakaʻeiʻeiki ʻoku lahi pea hinehina, mo ia naʻe nofo ai, ʻaia naʻe puna mei hono ʻao ʻae fonua mo e langi; pea naʻe ʻikai ʻilo ha potu ki ai.
12 and I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and scrolls were opened, and another scroll was opened, which is that of the life, and the dead were judged out of the things written in the scrolls—according to their works;
Pea ne u mamata ki he pekia, ʻae iiki mo e lalahi, naʻe tutuʻu ʻi he ʻao ʻoe ʻOtua; pea mo e folahi ʻoe ngaahi tohi: pea folahi mo e tohi ʻe taha, ʻa ia [ko e tohi ]ʻoe moʻui: pea naʻe fakamaauʻi ʻae pekia mei he ngaahi meʻa naʻe tohi ʻi he ngaahi tohi, ʻo fakatatau ki heʻenau ngaahi ngāue.
13 and the sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead in them, and they were judged, each one according to their works; (Hadēs )
Pea naʻe tuku hake ʻe he tahi ʻae kakai mate naʻe ʻi ai; pea tuku hake ʻe he faʻitoka mo hētesi ʻae kakai mate naʻe ʻi ai: pea naʻe fakamaau ʻakinautolu taki taha ʻo fakatatau ki heʻenau ngaahi ngāue. (Hadēs )
14 and death and Hades were cast into the lake of the fire—this [is] the second death; (Hadēs , Limnē Pyr )
Pea naʻe lī ʻae mate mo hētesi ki he ano ʻoe afi. Ko eni ʻae mate ʻangaua. (Hadēs , Limnē Pyr )
15 and if anyone was not found written in the Scroll of Life, he was cast into the lake of the fire. (Limnē Pyr )
Pea ko ia kotoa pē naʻe ʻikai ʻilo kuo tohi ʻi he tohi ʻoe moʻui, naʻe lī ia ki he ano ʻoe afi. (Limnē Pyr )
