Revelation 19
1 And after these things I heard a great voice of a great multitude in Heaven, saying, “Hallelujah! The salvation, and the glory, and the power [belong] to the LORD our God;
Dann hörte ich, wie eine große Schar im Himmel mit lauter Stimme sang: / Halleluja! Das Heil, die Herrlichkeit und Macht gehören unserem Gott.
2 because true and righteous [are] His judgments, because He judged the great whore who corrupted the earth in her whoredom, and He avenged the blood of His servants at her hand”;
Wahrhaftig und gerecht sind seine Urteilssprüche: / Er hat die große Buhlerin gerichtet, die durch ihr Buhlen hat verderbt die Erde. / So hat er seiner Knechte Blut gerächt, das sie mit ihrer Hand vergossen."
3 and a second time they said, “Hallelujah”; and her smoke comes up through the ages of the ages! (aiōn g165)
Sie sangen weiter: / "Halleluja! Der Rauch von ihrem Brand steigt auf in Ewigkeit." (aiōn g165)
4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and they worshiped God who is sitting on the throne, saying, “Amen! Hallelujah!”
Da fielen die vierundzwanzig Ältesten und die vier Lebewesen vor Gott, der auf dem Thron sitzt, anbetend nieder und sprachen: "Amen. Halleluja!"
5 And a voice out of the throne came forth, saying, “Praise our God, all you His servants, and those fearing Him, both the small and the great”;
Und von dem Thron ging eine Stimme aus, die sprach: / "Preist unseren Gott, ihr seine Knechte alle; preist ihn, die ihr ihn fürchtet, beide klein und groß!"
6 and I heard as the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, “Hallelujah! Because our Lord, the God, the Almighty, has reigned!
Dann hörte ich, wie eine große Schar gleich Meeresrauschen und starkem Donnerrollen also sang: / Halleluja! Der Herr hat nun die Herrschaft angetreten, er, unser Gott, der Allgewaltige.
7 May we rejoice and exult, and give the glory to Him, because the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready;
Laßt freudig uns frohlocken und ihm die Ehre geben! Denn des Lammes Hochzeit ist gekommen, und sein Weib hat sich bereitet.
8 and there was given to her that she may be clothed with fine linen, pure and radiant, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the holy ones.”
Sie hat sich kleiden dürfen in glänzend reine Leinwand. Die Leinwand ist der Heiligen Gerechtigkeit."
9 And he says to me, “Write: Blessed [are] they who have been called to the banquet of the marriage of the Lamb”; and he says to me, “These [are] the true words of God”;
Und er sprach zu mir: "Schreibe: 'Selig alle, die zu des Lammes Hochzeitsmahl geladen sind'!" Dann fuhr er fort: "Dies sind wahrhaftig Gottes Worte."
10 and I fell before his feet to worship him, and he says to me, “Behold—No! I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers, those having the testimony of Jesus; worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of the prophecy.”
Da fiel ich ihm zu Füßen, um ihn anzubeten. Er aber sprach zu mir: "Tu das nicht! Ich bin (ja nur) dein Mitknecht und (der Mitknecht) deiner Brüder, die das Jesuszeugnis treu bewahren. Bete Gott an!" / Das Jesuszeugnis ist der Geist der Weissagung.
11 And I saw Heaven having been opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who is sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war,
Darauf sah ich den Himmel offen, und es erschien ein weißes Roß. Sein Reiter heißt "Treu und Wahrhaftig"; er richtet und kämpft mit Gerechtigkeit.
12 and His eyes [are] as a flame of fire, and on His head [are] many crowns—having a Name written that no one has known, except Himself,
Seine Augen leuchteten wie Feuerflammen. Auf seinem Haupt trug er viele Königskronen. Ein Name war ihm angeschrieben, den niemand kennt als er allein.
13 and He is clothed with a garment covered with blood, and His Name is called, The Word of God.
Das Oberkleid, das ihn umhüllte, war in Blut getaucht. Sein Name ist "Gottes Wort".
14 And the armies in Heaven were following Him on white horses, clothed in fine linen—white and pure;
Die Himmelsheere, angetan mit weißer reiner Leinwand, folgten ihm auf weißen Rossen.
15 and out of His mouth proceeds a sharp sword, that with it He may strike the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron, and He treads the press of the wine of the wrath and the anger of God the Almighty,
Aus seinem Mund geht hervor ein scharfes Schwert, womit er niederschlagen soll die Völker. Er wird sie mit eisernem Stab weiden, und er tritt die Kelter des Glutweins des Zornes Gottes, des Allgewaltigen.
16 and He has on the garment and on His thigh the name written: “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”
Auf seinem Oberkleid, und zwar an seiner Hüfte, trägt er geschrieben diesen Namen: König der Könige und Herr der Herren.
17 And I saw one messenger standing in the sun, and he cried [with] a great voice, saying to all the birds that are flying in midair, “Come and be gathered together to the banquet of the great God [[or the great banquet of God]],
Und ich sah einen Engel stehen im vollen Sonnenglanz, der rief mit lauter Stimme allen Vögeln zu, die hoch oben am Himmel flogen: "Eilt herbei und sammelt euch zu dem großen Mahl, das euch Gott bereitet!
18 that you may eat flesh of kings, and flesh of chiefs of thousands, and flesh of strong men, and flesh of horses, and of those sitting on them, and the flesh of all—freemen and servants—both small and great.”
Ihr sollt verzehren das Fleisch der Könige, das Fleisch der Feldobersten und das Fleisch der starken Helden, das Fleisch der Rosse und der Reiter, das Fleisch von Leuten aller Art: von Freien und Leibeigenen, von Kleinen und von Großen."
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, having been gathered together to make war with Him who is sitting on the horse, and with His army;
Dann sah ich das Tier und die Könige der Erde. Sie hatten ihre Heere versammelt, um mit dem Reiter auf dem Roß und mit seinem Heer Krieg zu führen.
21 and the rest were killed with the sword of Him who is sitting on the horse, which is proceeding out of His mouth, and all the birds were filled with their flesh.
Die anderen aber fielen durch das Schwert, das aus dem Mund dessen ging, der auf dem Roß saß; und alle Vögel wurden satt von ihrem Fleisch.
