< Revelation 18 >

1 And after these things I saw another messenger coming down out of Heaven, having great authority, and the earth was lightened from his glory,
To pacoengah van hoi anghum tathuk kalah vankami maeto ka hnuk, anih loe kalen parai sakthaihaih to tawnh; anih ih aanghaih hoiah long to toeh phaeng.
2 and he cried in might [with] a great voice, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! And she became a habitation of demons, and a hold of every unclean spirit, and a hold of every unclean and hateful bird,
Anih mah Babylon vangpui loe amtim boeh, amtim boeh, taqawknawk ohhaih ahmuen ah angcoeng boeh, panuet thok kasae muithlanawk ohhaih ahmuen ah angcoeng boeh, kamhnong, panuet thok tavaanawk paunghaih ahmuen ah oh boeh.
3 because all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her whoredom, and the kings of the earth committed whoredom with her, and merchants of the earth were made rich from the power of her indulgence.”
Prae kaminawk loe anih hoi sak ih palungphuihaih misurtui mah paqui o boih boeh: long siangpahrangnawk loe anih hoiah zaehaih sak o moe, kangsum thai ai anih ih zae sak koehhaih mah hmuenmae zaw kaminawk to angraengsak aep boeh, tiah tha hoi a hang.
4 And I heard another voice out of Heaven, saying, “Come forth out of her, My people, that you may not partake with her sins, and that you may not receive of her plagues,
To pacoengah, Kai ih kaminawk, anih zaehaihnawk thungah na thum o han ai, anih mah tong ih raihaih baktiah raihaihnawk na tong o han ai ah, anih khae hoiah tacawt oh.
5 because her sins have reached up to Heaven, and God remembered her unrighteousness.

6 Render to her as she also rendered to you, and double to her twofold according to her works; in the cup that she mingled mingle to her double.

7 As much as she glorified herself and indulged, so much torment and sorrow give to her, because in her heart she says, I sit [as] queen, and I am not a widow, and I will not see sorrow;
Anih loe zae sakhaih bangah kanawm acaeng moe, angmah hoi angmah to amkoeh, anih mah vaihi patangkhanghaih hoi palungsethaih to hnuk boeh: Babylon mah angmah ih palung thung hoiah, Kai loe siangpahrang zu baktiah kang hnut, lamhmai ah kaom mak ai, natuek naah doeh palungsethaih ka tongh mak ai, tiah thuih.
8 because of this, in one day, will come her plagues: death, and sorrow, and famine; and she will be utterly burned in fire, because strong [is] the LORD God who is judging her;
To pongah anih mah nito thungah raihaih, tiah thuih ih duekhaih, palungsethaih, khokhahaih to tong tih; hnukkhuem ah loe anih to hmai hoiah qoeng o tih: anih lokcaekkung loe Thacak Angraeng Sithaw ah oh, tiah van hoiah thuih ih kalah lok maeto ka thaih.
9 and the kings of the earth will weep over her and strike themselves for her, who committed whoredom and indulged with her, when they may see the smoke of her burning,
Nongpa nongpata zaehaih to sak moe, anih hoi kanawm kacaeng long siangpahrangnawk mah anih qoenghaih hmaikhue hnuk o naah, anih to qah o haih ueloe, anih han mikkhraetui long o haih tih,

anih pacaekthlaekhaih to zit o pongah, kangthla ah angdoe o ueloe, Ala, ala, lensawk Babylon vangpui, thacak vangpui! Atue maeto thungah anih lokcaekhaih to phak boeh, tiah thui o tih.
11 And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, because no one buys their cargo anymore;
Long nuiah hmuenmae zaw kaminawk loe, nihcae ih hmuenmae qan kami om ai boeh pongah, anih to qah o haih ueloe, palungsae o haih tih:

cinamon hoi hmuihoih thingnawk, hmuihoih tui hoi hmuihoih tui kamkhawk, misurtui hoi situi, takaw dip hoi takaw sakhaih cangnawk, maitawnawk, tuunawk, hrangnawk, hrang mawtakanawk, misongnawk hoi kami hinghaihnawk to mi mah doeh qan pae o mak ai boeh.
14 And the fruits of the desire of your soul went away from you, and all things—the sumptuous and the radiant—went away from you, and no more at all may you find them.
Na koeh ih thingthai loe nang khae hoiah cawnh ving boeh; khosak na hoihhaih hoi na lensawkhaihnawk doeh nang khae hoi anghmat o boih boeh, to hmuennawk to natuek naah doeh na hnu let mak ai boeh.
15 The merchants of these things, who were made rich by her, will stand far off because of the fear of her torment, weeping, and mourning,
To nongpata rang hoiah hmuenmae zaw kaminawk loe angraeng o boeh. Toe anih patangkhanghaih to a zit o pongah, ahmuen kangthla ah angdoe o ueloe, palungset hoiah qah o tih.

Nihcae mah, Ala, ala, kahoih kahni, kahni kamling, kahni kathim angkhuk, sui, atho kana thlungnawk, palenawk hoi kamthoep, lensawk vangpui!
17 because in one hour so much riches were made desolate! And every shipmaster, and all the company on the ships, and sailors, and as many as work the sea, stood far off,

18 and were crying, seeing the smoke of her burning, saying, What [city is] like to the great city?
anih qoenghaih hmaikhue to hnuk o naah, Hae vangpui hoi kanghmong vangpui oh vop maw? tiah hang o tih.
19 And they cast dust on their heads, and were crying out, weeping and mourning, saying, Woe, woe, the great city! In which were made rich all having ships in the sea, out of her costliness—for in one hour was she made desolate.
Nihcae mah angmacae lu nuiah maiphu to angphuih o ueloe, palungset hoiah qah o pacoeng ah, Ala, ala, tuipui caehhaih palongpui tawn kaminawk han angraenghaih paekkung, lensawk vangpui loe atue maeto thungah anghmat boih boeh! tiah hang o tih.
20 Be glad over her, O Heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, because God judged your judgment of her!”

21 And one strong messenger took up a stone as a great millstone, and cast [it] into the sea, saying, “Thus with violence will Babylon be cast, the great city, and may not be found anymore at all;

22 and voice of harpists, and musicians, and pipers, and trumpeters, may not be heard at all in you anymore; and any craftsman of any craft may not be found at all in you anymore; and noise of a millstone may not be heard at all in you anymore;
Nang khae hoiah katoeng kruek kaminawk, katoeng kruek kop kaminawk, tamoi ueng kaminawk hoi mongkah ueng kaminawk mah uengh o ih atuen apawk to natuek naah doeh thaih mak ai boeh; nang khae hoiah ban tok sak kop kaminawk to natuek naah doeh hnu mak ai boeh; nang khae hoiah cang kaehhaih atuen natuek naah doeh thaih mak ai boeh.
23 and light of a lamp may not shine at all in you anymore; and voice of bridegroom and of bride may not be heard at all in you anymore; because your merchants were the great ones of the earth, because all the nations were led astray in your sorcery,
Nang khae hoiah natuek naah doeh hmaiim paaanghaih om mak ai boeh; nang khae hoiah natuek naah doeh zu kala thendoeng tangla ih lok to thaih mak ai boeh: nang ih hmuenmae zaw kaminawk loe long nui ih kalen kami ah oh o; miklet na sakhaih hoiah prae kaminawk to na ling boih boeh.
