Revelation 16
1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven messengers, “Go away, and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God into the earth”;
Ngasengisizwa ilizwi elikhulu livela ethempelini, lisithi kulezo ingilosi eziyisikhombisa: Hambani, lithululele emhlabeni imiganu yolaka lukaNkulunkulu.
2 and the first went away, and poured out his bowl into the earth, and there came a sore—bad and grievous—to men, those having the mark of the beast, and those worshiping his image.
Eyokuqala yasihamba, yathululela umganu wayo emhlabeni; kwasekuvela isilonda esibi esibuhlungu ebantwini abalophawu lwesilo, labakhonza umfanekiso waso.
3 And the second messenger poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became blood as of [one] dead, and every living soul in the sea died.
Ingilosi yesibili yasithululela umganu wayo olwandle; lwaselusiba ligazi njengelofileyo, lawo wonke umphefumulo ophilayo wafa olwandle.
4 And the third messenger poured out his bowl into the rivers, and into the fountains of the waters, and there came blood,
Ingilosi yesithathu yasithululela umganu wayo emifuleni lemithonjeni yamanzi; yasisiba ligazi.
5 and I heard the messenger of the waters, saying, “Righteous, O LORD, are You, who is, and who was, [[and who will be, ]] the Holy [One], because You judged these things,
Ngasengisizwa ingilosi yamanzi isithi: Ulungile, Nkosi, okhona lowayekhona lozakuba khona, ngoba wagweba lezizinto;
6 because they poured out [the] blood of holy ones and prophets, and You gave to them blood to drink, for they are worthy”;
ngoba bachitha igazi labangcwele lelabaprofethi, ubanike labo igazi ukulinatha; ngoba bafanele.
7 and I heard another out of the altar, saying, “Yes, LORD God, the Almighty, true and righteous [are] Your judgments.”
Ngasengisizwa enye elathini isithi: Yebo, Nkosi Nkulunkulu Somandla, ziqotho zilungile izigwebo zakho.
8 And the fourth messenger poured out his bowl on the sun, and there was given to him to scorch men with fire,
Ingilosi yesine yasithululela umganu wayo elangeni; kwasekunikelwa kulo ukuchochombisa abantu ngomlilo.
9 and men were scorched with great heat, and they slandered the Name of God, who has authority over these plagues, and they did not convert—to give to Him glory.
Abantu basebetshiswa yikutshisa okukhulu, basebehlambaza ibizo likaNkulunkulu olamandla phezu kwalezo izinhlupheko, njalo kabaphendukanga ukumnika udumo.
10 And the fifth messenger poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became darkened, and they were gnawing their tongues from the pain,
Ingilosi yesihlanu yasithululela umganu wayo phezu kwesihlalo sobukhosi sesilo; lombuso waso wafiphazwa; basebexhanxatha inlimi zabo ngenxa yobuhlungu,
11 and they slandered the God of Heaven, from their pains, and from their sores, and they did not convert from their works.
basebemhlambaza uNkulunkulu wezulu ngenxa yobuhlungu babo langenxa yezilonda zabo, njalo kabaphendukanga emisebenzini yabo.
12 And the sixth messenger poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates, and its water was dried up, that the way of the kings who are from the rising of the sun may be made ready;
Ingilosi yesithupha yasithululela umganu wayo emfuleni omkhulu iYufrathi; lamanzi awo atsha, ukuze ilungiswe indlela yamakhosi avela lapho eliphuma khona ilanga.
13 and I saw [come] out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs—
Ngasengibona kuphuma emlonyeni womgobho lemlonyeni wesilo lemlonyeni womprofethi wamanga, imimoya engcolileyo emithathu efanana lamaxoxo;
14 for they are spirits of demons, doing signs—which go forth to the kings of the earth, and of the whole world, to bring them together to the battle of that great day of God the Almighty.
ngoba iyimimoya yamadimoni eyenza izibonakaliso, ephumela emakhosini omhlabathi lawomhlaba wonke, ukuwaqoqela ndawonye empini kwalolosuku olukhulu lukaNkulunkulu uSomandla.
15 (“Behold, I come as a thief; blessed [is] he who is watching, and keeping his garments, that he may not walk naked, and they may see his unseemliness.”)
Khangela, ngiyeza njengesela. Ubusisiwe olindayo, alondoloze izembatho zakhe, ukuze angahambize, njalo babone ihlazo lakhe.
16 And they brought them together to the place that is called in Hebrew Armageddon.
Basebewaqoqela ndawonye endaweni ethiwa ngesiHebheru iArmagedoni.
17 And the seventh messenger poured out his bowl on the air, and there came forth a great voice from the temple of Heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!”
Ingilosi yesikhombisa yasithululela umganu wayo emoyeni; kwasekuphuma ilizwi elikhulu livela ethempelini lezulu, esihlalweni sobukhosi lisithi: Sekwenzakele!
18 And there came voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and a great earthquake came, such as has not come since men came on the earth, so mighty an earthquake—so great!
Kwasekusiba khona amazwi lemidumo lemibane, kwasekusiba lokuzamazama komhlaba okukhulu, okunje okungazanga kube khona selokhu kwaba khona abantu emhlabeni, ukuzamazama komhlaba okulamandla kangaka, okukhulu kangaka.
19 And it came—the great city—into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the wrath of His anger,
Umuzi omkhulu wasusiba yiziqamu ezintathu, lemizi yabezizwe yawa; leBhabhiloni elikhulu lakhunjulwa phambi kukaNkulunkulu, ukulinika inkezo yewayini lentukuthelo yolaka lwakhe.
20 and every island fled away, and mountains were not found,
Sonke isihlenge sasesibaleka, lentaba azaze zatholakala.
21 and great hail (as of talent weight) comes down out of the sky on men, and men slandered God because of the plague of the hail, because its plague is very great.
Lesiqhotho esikhulu esilesisindo esinjengesethalenta, sawela phezu kwabantu sivela ezulwini; labantu bamhlambaza uNkulunkulu ngenxa yenhlupheko yesiqhotho; ngoba inhlupheko yaso yayinkulu kakhulukazi.
