< Revelation 16 >

1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven messengers, “Go away, and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God into the earth”;
ⲁ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲒⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈⲞⲨⲚⲒϢϮ ⲚⲤⲘⲎ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲪⲈ ⲈⲤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲚⲒⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲘⲀϢⲈ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϪⲈϢ ⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚⲪⲨⲀⲖⲎ ⲈⲠⲈⲤⲎⲦ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲈⲘⲂⲞⲚ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
2 and the first went away, and poured out his bowl into the earth, and there came a sore—bad and grievous—to men, those having the mark of the beast, and those worshiping his image.
ⲃ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϢⲈ ⲚⲀϤ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒϨⲞⲨⲒⲦ ⲚⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲀϤϪⲈϢ ⲦⲈϤⲪⲨⲀⲖⲎ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲔⲀϨⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲞⲨϢⲀϢⲒ ⲈϤϨⲰⲞⲨ ϢⲰⲠⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲦⲞⲂ ⲈⲠⲒⲐⲎⲢⲒⲞⲚ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲞⲨⲰϢⲦ ⲚⲦⲈϤϨⲨⲔⲰⲚ.
3 And the second messenger poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became blood as of [one] dead, and every living soul in the sea died.
ⲅ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲠⲒⲘⲀϨⲂ ⲚⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲀϤϪⲰϢ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲪⲨⲀⲖⲎ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲪⲒⲞⲘ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲈⲢⲤⲚⲞϤ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲘⲪⲀ ⲞⲨⲢⲈϤⲘⲰⲞⲨⲦ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲮⲨⲬⲎ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲞⲚϦ ⲀⲨⲘⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲒⲞⲘ.
4 And the third messenger poured out his bowl into the rivers, and into the fountains of the waters, and there came blood,
ⲇ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲠⲒⲘⲀϨⲄ ⲚⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲀϤϪⲰϢ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲪⲨⲀⲖⲎ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲚⲒⲒⲀⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲘⲞⲨⲘⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲈⲢⲤⲚⲞϤ.
5 and I heard the messenger of the waters, saying, “Righteous, O LORD, are You, who is, and who was, [[and who will be, ]] the Holy [One], because You judged these things,
ⲉ̅ⲀⲒⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈⲠⲒⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲚⲐⲞⲔ ⲞⲨⲐⲘⲎⲒ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦϢⲞⲠ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲚⲀϤϢⲞⲠ ϪⲈ ⲀⲔϮϨⲀⲠ ⲈⲚⲀⲒ
6 because they poured out [the] blood of holy ones and prophets, and You gave to them blood to drink, for they are worthy”;
ⲋ̅ϪⲈ ⲠⲒⲤⲚⲞϤ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲘⲀⲢⲦⲨⲢⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲠⲢⲞⲪⲎⲦⲎⲤ ⲀⲨⲪⲞⲚϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲀⲔϮ ⲤⲚⲞϤ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲤⲰ ϪⲈ ⲤⲈⲘⲠϢⲀ.
7 and I heard another out of the altar, saying, “Yes, LORD God, the Almighty, true and righteous [are] Your judgments.”
ⲍ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲒⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈⲠⲒⲘⲀⲚⲈⲢϢⲰⲞⲨϢⲒ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲤⲈ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲠⲒⲠⲀⲚⲦⲞⲔⲢⲀⲦⲰⲢ ⲠⲒⲐⲘⲎⲒ ⲚⲈⲔϨⲀⲠ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ϨⲀⲚⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎⲒ ⲚⲈ.
8 And the fourth messenger poured out his bowl on the sun, and there was given to him to scorch men with fire,
ⲏ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲒⲘⲀϨⲆ ⲚⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲀϤϪⲰϢ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲪⲨⲀⲖⲎ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲪⲢⲎ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲦⲎⲒⲤ ⲚⲀϤ ⲈⲈⲢⲔⲀⲨⲘⲀ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲚⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲚⲒϢϮ ⲚⲔⲀⲨⲘⲀ.
9 and men were scorched with great heat, and they slandered the Name of God, who has authority over these plagues, and they did not convert—to give to Him glory.
ⲑ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲈⲢⲔⲀⲨⲘⲀ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨϪⲈⲞⲨⲀ ⲈⲪⲢⲀⲚ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚⲦⲈϤ ⲈⲢϢⲒϢⲒ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲚⲀⲒⲈⲢϦⲞⲦ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲠⲞⲨⲈⲢⲘⲈⲦⲀⲚⲞⲒⲚ ⲈϮⲰⲞⲨ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
10 And the fifth messenger poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became darkened, and they were gnawing their tongues from the pain,
ⲓ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲒⲘⲀϨⲈ ⲚⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲀϤϪⲰϢ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲪⲨⲀⲖⲎ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲐⲢⲞⲚⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲐⲎⲢⲒⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤⲈⲢⲬⲀⲔⲒ ⲚϪⲈⲦⲈϤⲘⲈⲦⲞⲨⲢⲞ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨⲞⲨⲞϪⲞⲨⲈϪ ⲚⲚⲞⲨⲖⲀⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲘⲔⲀϨ
11 and they slandered the God of Heaven, from their pains, and from their sores, and they did not convert from their works.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨϪⲈⲞⲨⲀ ⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲪⲈ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲘⲔⲀϨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲞⲨϨⲂⲎ ⲞⲨⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲠⲞⲨⲈⲢⲘⲈⲦⲀⲚⲞⲒⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲞⲨϨⲂⲎⲞⲨⲒ ⲈⲦϨⲰⲞⲨ.
12 And the sixth messenger poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates, and its water was dried up, that the way of the kings who are from the rising of the sun may be made ready;
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲒⲘⲀϨ ⲚⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲀϤϪⲰϢ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲪⲨⲀⲖⲎ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲪⲒⲀⲢⲞ ⲠⲒⲚⲒϢϮ ⲠⲒⲈⲨⲪⲢⲀⲦⲎ ⲤⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϢⲰⲞⲨⲒ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒⲘⲰⲞⲨ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲤⲞⲂϮ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒⲘⲰⲒⲦ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲞⲨⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲦⲤⲀⲚⲒⲘⲀ ⲚϢⲀⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲢⲎ.
13 and I saw [come] out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs—
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲒⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲢⲰϤ ⲘⲠⲒⲆⲢⲀⲔⲰⲚ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲢⲰϤ ⲘⲠⲒⲐⲎⲢⲒⲞⲚ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲢⲰϤ ⲘⲠⲒⲮⲈⲨⲆⲞⲠⲢⲞⲪⲎⲦⲎⲤ ⲈⲄ ⲘⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲈⲨⲤⲰϤ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲬⲢⲞⲨⲢ.
14 for they are spirits of demons, doing signs—which go forth to the kings of the earth, and of the whole world, to bring them together to the battle of that great day of God the Almighty.
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ϨⲀⲚⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲒϦ ⲚⲈⲈⲨⲒⲢⲒ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲘⲎ ⲒⲚⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲞⲨⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲔⲀϨⲒ ⲈⲐⲞⲨⲰⲦⲞⲨ ⲈⲠⲠⲞⲖⲈⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲚⲒϢϮ ⲚⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲠⲒⲠⲀⲚⲦⲞⲔⲢⲀⲦⲰⲢ.
15 (“Behold, I come as a thief; blessed [is] he who is watching, and keeping his garments, that he may not walk naked, and they may see his unseemliness.”)
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ϨⲎⲠⲠⲈ ϮⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲞⲨⲢⲈϤϬⲒⲞⲨⲒ ⲰⲞⲨⲚⲒⲀⲦϤ ⲘⲪⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲢⲰⲒⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲀⲢⲈϨ ⲈⲚⲈϤϨⲂⲰⲤ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϤϢⲦⲈⲘⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲈϤⲂⲎϢ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲞⲨⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲠⲈϤϢⲒⲠⲒ.
16 And they brought them together to the place that is called in Hebrew Armageddon.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲐⲞⲨⲰⲦⲞⲨ ⲈⲨⲘⲀ ⲈⲨⲘⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲘⲘⲈⲦϨⲈⲂⲢⲈⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲈⲢⲘⲀⲔⲈⲆⲰⲚ.
17 And the seventh messenger poured out his bowl on the air, and there came forth a great voice from the temple of Heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!”
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲒⲘⲀϨⲌ ⲚⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲀϤϪⲰϢ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲪⲨⲀⲖⲎ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲀⲎⲢ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲈϢ ⲞⲨⲚⲒϢϮ ⲚϦⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲈⲢⲪⲈⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲀ ⲠⲒⲐⲢⲞⲚⲞⲤ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲀϤϢⲰⲠⲒ.
18 And there came voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and a great earthquake came, such as has not come since men came on the earth, so mighty an earthquake—so great!
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚϪⲈϨⲀⲚϦⲀⲢⲀⲂⲀⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚⲤⲘⲎ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚⲤⲈⲦⲈⲂⲢⲎϪ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲞⲨⲚⲒϢϮ ⲘⲘⲞⲚⲘⲈⲚ ⲀϤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲘⲠⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲢⲎϮ ⲒⲤϪⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲀ ⲢⲰⲘⲒ ϢⲰⲠⲒ ϨⲒϪⲈⲚ ⲠⲔⲀϨⲒ.
19 And it came—the great city—into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the wrath of His anger,
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚϪⲈϮⲚⲒϢϮ ⲘⲂⲀⲔⲒ ⲈⲄ ⲚⲦⲞⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲒⲂⲀⲔⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲈⲐⲚⲞⲤ ⲀⲨϨⲈⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲂⲀⲂⲨⲖⲰⲚ ϮⲚⲒϢϮ ⲀⲨⲈⲢⲠⲈⲤⲘⲈⲨⲒ ⲘⲠⲈⲘⲐⲞ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈϮ ⲚⲀⲤ ⲘⲠⲒⲀⲪⲞⲦ ⲚⲎⲢⲠ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲈⲘⲂⲞⲚ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒϪⲰⲚⲦ.
20 and every island fled away, and mountains were not found,
ⲕ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲎⲤⲞⲤ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲀⲨⲪⲰⲦ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲒⲦⲰⲞⲨ ⲘⲠⲞⲨϪⲈⲘ ⲠⲞⲨⲘⲀ.
21 and great hail (as of talent weight) comes down out of the sky on men, and men slandered God because of the plague of the hail, because its plague is very great.
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϨⲀⲚⲀⲖ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚϨⲀⲚϪⲒⲚϬⲰⲢ ⲚϢⲒ ⲀⲨⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲪⲈ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲚⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲚⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ϪⲈⲞⲨⲀ ⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲈⲢϦⲞⲦ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲀⲖ ⲈⲦⲞϢ ⲈⲘⲀϢⲰ.
