Revelation 11
1 And there was given to me a reed like to a rod, [[and the messenger stood, ]] saying, “Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and those worshiping in it;
Saya diberi tongkat pengukur dan diberitahu, “Berdiri dan ukurlah Rumah Allah, mezbahnya, dan hitunglah jumlah orang yang beribadah di sana.
2 and leave out the court that is outside the temple, and you may not measure it, because it was given to the nations, and they will tread down the holy city forty-two months;
Jangan mengukur bagian halaman luar Rumah Allah, biarkan saja itu, sebab bagian itu sudah diserahkan kepada bangsa-bangsa lain. Mereka akan menginjak-injak kota suci selama empat puluh dua bulan.
3 and I will give to My two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand, two hundred, sixty days, clothed with sackcloth”;
Aku akan memberikan kuasa kepada dua orang saksi-Ku, dan mereka akan menyampaikan nubuatan selama 1.260 hari, memakai kain berkabung.”
4 these are the two olive [trees], and the two lampstands that stand before the God of the earth;
Mereka dua tempat lilin yang berdiri di hadapan Tuhan seluruh bumi.
5 and if anyone may will to injure them, fire proceeds out of their mouth, and devours their enemies, and if anyone may will to injure them, thus it is required of him to be killed.
Jika ada yang mencoba menyakiti mereka, api akan keluar dari mulut mereka dan akan membakar musuh-musuh mereka. Beginilah cara siapa pun yang mencoba menyakiti mereka akan dibunuh.
6 These have authority to shut the sky, that rain may not rain in the days of their prophecy, and they have authority over the waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the land with every plague, as often as they may will.
Kedua saksi ini memiliki kuasa untuk membuat hujan tidak turun selama mereka menyampaikan nubuatan kepada orang-orang di bumi. Mereka juga memiliki kuasa untuk mengubah air menjadi darah, dan menyerang bumi dengan segala macam wabah penyakit menular, sesuka kehendak mereka.
7 And when they may finish their testimony, the beast that is coming up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them, and kill them, (Abyssos g12)
Ketika mereka menyelesaikan kesaksian mereka, binatang buas yang datang dari jurang maut yang menyerang, mengalahkan dan membunuh mereka. (Abyssos g12)
8 and their body [is] on the street of the great city that is called spiritually Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified,
Mayat mereka akan terbaring di tempat terbuka di Kota besar itu, yang dalam bahasa kiasan dipanggil Sodom dan Mesir, juga tempat di mana Tuhan mereka disalibkan.
9 and they gaze—[those] of the peoples, and tribes, and tongues, and nations—on their dead bodies three and a half days, and they will not allow their dead bodies to be put into tombs,
Selama tiga setengah hari semua orang dari berbagai kaum, suku, bahasa dan bangsa akan melihat mayat mereka, dan tidak mengijinkan agar mayat itu dikuburkan.
10 and those dwelling on the earth will rejoice over them, and will make merry, and they will send gifts to one another, because these—the two prophets—tormented those dwelling on the earth.
Penduduk bumi bersukacita oleh kematian mereka, dan mereka merayakannya, saling mengirimkan hadiah, sebab kedua nabi ini sudah menjadi sebuah siksaan bagi mereka.
11 And after the three and a half days, [the] Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell on those beholding them,
Tetapi tiga setengah hari kemudian, Roh Allah yang memberi kehidupan masuk ke dalam mayat mereka dan mereka menjadi hidup kembali. Orang-orang yang menyaksikan mereka hidup kembali sungguh-sungguh ketakutan.
12 and they heard a great voice out of Heaven saying to them, “Come up here”; and they went up to Heaven in the cloud, and their enemies beheld them;
Dua saksi itu mendengar sebuah suara keras dari surga yang berkata kepada mereka, “Naiklah kemari!” Lalu mereka naik ke surga dalam awan sementara musuh-musuh mereka memperhatikan mereka.
13 and in that hour a great earthquake came, and the tenth of the city fell, and seven thousand names of men were killed in the earthquake, and the rest became frightened, and they gave glory to the God of Heaven.
Pada waktu mereka terangkat, terjadi gemba bumi yang hebat, dan sepersepuluh dari kota itu runtuh. Tujuh ribu orang terbunuh oleh karena gempa bumi itu, dan yang tinggal hidup menjadi sangat ketakutan, dan mereka memuliakan Allah yang di Surga.
14 The second woe went forth, behold, the third woe comes quickly.
Bencana kedua berakhir, dan Bencana yang ketiga segera datang.
15 And the seventh messenger sounded the trumpet, and there came great voices in Heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of the world became [those] of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign through the ages of the ages!” (aiōn g165)
Lalu malaikat yang ketujuh meniup terompetnya, dan suara yang keras berteriak di Surga, “Kerajaan dunia telah menjadi kerajaan Tuhan kita, dan Kristus-Nya, dan Dia akan memerintah selama-lamanya.” (aiōn g165)
16 And the twenty-four elders, who are sitting on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God,
Ke dua puluh empat pemimpin yang duduk di atas takhta mereka di hadapan Allah sujud dan menyembah Allah.
17 saying, “We give thanks to You, O LORD God, the Almighty, who is, and who was, and who is coming, because You have taken Your great power and reigned;
Mereka berkata, “Kami beryukur, Tuhan Allah, yang Mahakuasa, yang sekarang dan ada sejak dulu, sebab Engkau telah mengambil kekuatan besar Engkau dan telah menegaskan pemerintahan Engkau.”
18 and the nations were angry, and Your anger came, and the time of the dead to be judged, and to give the reward to Your servants, to the prophets, and to the holy ones, and to those fearing Your Name, to the small and to the great, and to destroy those who are destroying the earth.”
Bangsa-bangsa menjadi sangat marah, tetapi penghakiman-Mu sudah datang, saatnya ketika orang-orang yang sudah mati dihakimi. Inilah saatnya ketika para pelayan-Mu para nabi dan orang-orang mukmin mereka mendapatkan hadiah mereka, orang-orang yang menghormati otoritas-Mu, baik orang biasa maupun yang berkuasa. Inilah saatnya ketika Engkau menghancurkan orang-orang yang menghancurkan bumi.
19 And the temple of God was opened in Heaven, and the Ark of His Covenant was seen in His temple, and there came lightnings, and voices, and thunders, and an earthquake, and great hail.
Lalu Rumah Allah yang ada di Surga dibuka, dan Tabut Perjanjian bisa di lihat di dalam Rumah-Nya. Ada kilat memancar, suara guntur, gempa bumi dan hujan es yang lebat.
