Psalms 1

1 O the blessedness of that one, Who has not walked in the counsel of the wicked, And has not stood in the way of sinners, And has not sat in the seat of scorners;

【善惡二路】凡不隨從惡人的計謀，不插足於罪人的道路，不參與譏諷者的席位，

2 But his delight [is] in the Law of YHWH, And in His law he meditates by day and by night:

專心愛好上主法律的，畫夜默思上主誡命的，這樣的人才是有福的！

3 And he has been as a tree, Planted by streams of water, That gives its fruit in its season, And its leaf does not wither, And all that he does he causes to prosper.

他像植在溪畔的樹木，準時結果，枝葉不枯，所作所為，隨心所欲。

4 Not so the wicked: But [they are] as chaff that wind drives away!

惡人卻不如此，絕不如此! 他們像被風吹散的糠秕。

5 Therefore the wicked do not rise in judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous,

在審判的時日，惡人站立不住；在義人的會中，罪人不能立足：

6 For YHWH is knowing the way of the righteous, And the way of the wicked is lost!

因上主賞識義人的行徑，惡人的行徑必自趨沉淪
