Psalms 97
1 YHWH has reigned, The earth is joyful, many islands rejoice.
¡Yahvé reina! ¡Que la tierra se alegre! ¡Que la multitud de islas se alegre!
2 Cloud and darkness [are] around Him, Righteousness and judgment the basis of His throne.
Las nubes y la oscuridad lo rodean. La rectitud y la justicia son el fundamento de su trono.
3 Fire goes before Him, And burns around His adversaries.
Un fuego va delante de él, y quema a sus adversarios por todos lados.
4 His lightnings have lightened the world, The earth has seen, and is pained.
Su rayo ilumina el mundo. La tierra ve y tiembla.
5 Hills, like wax, melted before YHWH, Before the Lord of all the earth.
Las montañas se derriten como la cera ante la presencia de Yahvé, ante la presencia del Señor de toda la tierra.
6 The heavens declared His righteousness, And all the peoples have seen His glory.
Los cielos declaran su justicia. Todos los pueblos han visto su gloria.
7 All servants of a carved image are ashamed, Those boasting themselves in idols, Bow yourselves to Him, all you gods.
Que se avergüencen todos los que sirven a las imágenes grabadas, que se jactan de sus ídolos. ¡Adoradle, todos los dioses!
8 Zion has heard and rejoices, And daughters of Judah are joyful, Because of Your judgments, O YHWH.
Sión escuchó y se alegró. Las hijas de Judá se alegraron a causa de tus juicios, Yahvé.
9 For You, YHWH, [are] Most High over all the earth, You have been exalted greatly over all gods.
Porque tú, Yahvé, eres altísimo sobre toda la tierra. Estás exaltado muy por encima de todos los dioses.
10 You who love YHWH, hate evil, He is keeping the souls of His saints, He delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
Tú que amas a Yahvé, odia el mal. Conserva las almas de sus santos. Los libra de la mano de los malvados.
11 Light [is] sown for the righteous, And joy for the upright of heart.
La luz se siembra para los justos, y alegría para los rectos de corazón.
12 Rejoice, you righteous, in YHWH, And give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness!
¡Alegraos en Yahvé, pueblo justo! Da gracias a su santo Nombre.
