Psalms 97

1 YHWH has reigned, The earth is joyful, many islands rejoice.

Господ царује: нек се радује земља! Нек се веселе острва многа.

2 Cloud and darkness [are] around Him, Righteousness and judgment the basis of His throne.

Облак је и мрак око Њега; благост и правда подножје престолу његовом.

3 Fire goes before Him, And burns around His adversaries.

Огањ пред Њим иде, и пали наоколо непријатеље Његове.

4 His lightnings have lightened the world, The earth has seen, and is pained.

Муње Његове севају по васиљеној; види и стрепи земља.

5 Hills, like wax, melted before YHWH, Before the Lord of all the earth.

Горе као восак топе се од лица Господњег, од лица Господа свој земљи.

6 The heavens declared His righteousness, And all the peoples have seen His glory.

Небеса казују правду Његову, и сви народи виде славу Његову.

7 All servants of a carved image are ashamed, Those boasting themselves in idols, Bow yourselves to Him, all you gods.

Нек се стиде сви који се клањају киповима, који се хвале идолима својим. Поклоните Му се сви богови.

8 Zion has heard and rejoices, And daughters of Judah are joyful, Because of Your judgments, O YHWH.

Чује и радује се Сион, и кћери се јудејске веселе ради судова Твојих, Господе!

9 For You, YHWH, [are] Most High over all the earth, You have been exalted greatly over all gods.

Јер си Ти, Господе, висок над свом земљом и надвишујеш све богове.

10 You who love YHWH, hate evil, He is keeping the souls of His saints, He delivers them from the hand of the wicked.

Који љубите Господа, мрзите на зло. Он чува душе светаца својих; из руку безбожничких отима их.

11 Light [is] sown for the righteous, And joy for the upright of heart.

Светлост се просипа на праведника, и весеље на оне који су правог срца.

12 Rejoice, you righteous, in YHWH, And give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness!

Радујте се праведни о Господу, и славите свето име Његово.
