Psalms 91
1 He who is dwelling In the secret place of the Most High, Habitually lodges in the shade of the Mighty,
ಮಹೋನ್ನತ ದೇವರ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವವರು ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರ ನೆರಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ರಮಿಸುವರು.
2 He is saying of YHWH, “My refuge, and my bulwark, my God, I trust in Him,”
“ನನ್ನ ಆಶ್ರಯವೂ, ನನ್ನ ಕೋಟೆಯೂ, ನಾನು ಭರವಸೆ ಇಡುವ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೂ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವೆನು.”
3 For He delivers you from the snare of a fowler, From a calamitous pestilence.
ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬೇಡನ ಉರುಲಿನಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವರು. ಮರಣಾಂತಿಕವಾದ ಸಾಂಕ್ರಾಮಿಕ ರೋಗದಿಂದಲೂ ಬಿಡಿಸುವರು.
4 He covers you over with His pinion, And under His wings you trust, His truth [is] a shield and buckler.
ತಮ್ಮ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೊದಿಸುವರು. ದೇವರ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ. ದೇವರ ಸತ್ಯತೆಯು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಖೇಡ್ಯವೂ ಕೋಟೆಯೂ ಆಗಿರುವುದು.
5 You are not afraid of fear by night, Of arrow that flies by day,
ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಭಯಂಕರತೆಗೆ ನೀನು ಅಂಜಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ, ಹಗಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾರುವ ಬಾಣಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆದರಬೇಕಾಗಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
6 Of pestilence that walks in thick darkness, Of destruction that destroys at noon,
ಅಂಧಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆನ್ನಟ್ಟಿ ಬರುವ ವಿಪತ್ತಿಗೆ ಕಳವಳಪಡದಿರುವೆ. ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಗೂ ನೀನು ಭಯಪಡದಿರುವೆ.
7 One thousand fall at your side, And a myriad at your right hand, [But] it does not come near to you.
ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು ಬಿದ್ದರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರು ಬಿದ್ದಾಗ್ಯೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಅದು ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
8 But with your eyes you look, And you see the reward of the wicked,
ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾತ್ರ ನೀನು ಗಮನಿಸುವೆ. ದುಷ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿದಂಡನೆ ಆಗುವುದನ್ನು ಸಹ ನೀನು ಕಾಣುವೆ.
9 (For You, O YHWH, [are] my refuge), You made the Most High your habitation.
“ಮಹೋನ್ನತ ದೇವರು ನಮ್ಮ ಆಶ್ರಯ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವದಾದರೆ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿವಾಸವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರೆ,
10 Evil does not happen to you, And a plague does not come near your tent,
ಯಾವ ಕೇಡೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟದು, ಯಾವ ವಿಪತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಮೀಪಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
11 For He charges His messengers for you, To keep you in all your ways,
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ದೂತರಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವರು.
12 On the hands they bear you up, Lest you strike your foot against a stone.
ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾದಗಳು ಕಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ತಗಲದಂತೆ ದೇವದೂತರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
13 You tread on lion and cobra, You trample young lion and dragon.
ಸಿಂಹದ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಸರ್ಪದ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನಡೆಯುವೆ. ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಸಿಂಹವನ್ನೂ ಘಟಸರ್ಪವನ್ನೂ ತುಳಿದುಬಿಡುವೆ.
14 Because he has delighted in Me, I also deliver him—I set him on high, Because he has known My Name.
“ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ ಆತನನ್ನು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸುವೆನು. ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆತನನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವೆನು.
15 He calls Me, and I answer him, I [am] with him in distress, I deliver him, and honor him.
ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆಯುವನು ನಾನು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡುವೆನು. ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಆತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದು, ಆತನನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸುವೆನು.
16 I satisfy him with [the] length of [his] days, And I cause him to look on My salvation!
ದೀರ್ಘಾಯುಷ್ಯದಿಂದ ಆತನನ್ನು ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆತನಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುವೆನು,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
