< Psalms 91 >
1 He who is dwelling In the secret place of the Most High, Habitually lodges in the shade of the Mighty,

2 He is saying of YHWH, “My refuge, and my bulwark, my God, I trust in Him,”
Ama teh ka kânguenae hoi ka rapanim, ka Cathut, ka kâuep e lah ao, telah BAWIPA hah ka dei han.
3 For He delivers you from the snare of a fowler, From a calamitous pestilence.
Ama ni karap dawk hoi thoseh, lacik kathout dawk hoi thoseh na rungngang han.
4 He covers you over with His pinion, And under His wings you trust, His truth [is] a shield and buckler.
A rathei hoi na ramuk vaiteh, a rathei rahim na lung a mawng han. A lawkkatang teh na lungmawngnae bahling lah ao han.
5 You are not afraid of fear by night, Of arrow that flies by day,
Karum lae runae hoi khodai lae pala hai na taket mahoeh.
6 Of pestilence that walks in thick darkness, Of destruction that destroys at noon,
Khohmo nah ka tho e lacik na taket mahoeh, kanîthun ka tho e rawkphainae hai na taket mahoeh.
7 One thousand fall at your side, And a myriad at your right hand, [But] it does not come near to you.
Na teng vah thong touh kamlet niteh, aranglah thong hra touh kamlet nakunghai, nang koe hnai mahoeh.
8 But with your eyes you look, And you see the reward of the wicked,
Na mit hoi khen nateh, tamikathoutnaw ni a kâhmo awh e teh, na hmu han doeh.
9 (For You, O YHWH, [are] my refuge), You made the Most High your habitation.
BAWIPA teh kânguenae lah ao telah na dei teh, Lathueng Poung dawk na o nahanelah na sak dawkvah,
10 Evil does not happen to you, And a plague does not come near your tent,
thoenae banghai nang koe phat mahoeh. Na onae koe lacik kathout tho mahoeh.
11 For He charges His messengers for you, To keep you in all your ways,
Na lamthung pueng khenyawnkung lah, kalvan taminaw hah kâ a poe han.
12 On the hands they bear you up, Lest you strike your foot against a stone.
A kut hoi na tawm vaiteh, na khok hoi talung na kamthui mahoeh.
13 You tread on lion and cobra, You trample young lion and dragon.
Sendek hoi hrunthoe van na luen vaiteh, Sendek hoi khorui hah na khok hoi na coungroe han.
14 Because he has delighted in Me, I also deliver him—I set him on high, Because he has known My Name.
Ahni ni na lungpataw dawkvah, kai ni ka rungngang han. Ka min a panue dawkvah ka tawm han.
15 He calls Me, and I answer him, I [am] with him in distress, I deliver him, and honor him.
Na kaw toteh ka pato han. Runae a kâhmo toteh, ahni koe ka o vaiteh, ka rungngang vaiteh, ka bari han.
16 I satisfy him with [the] length of [his] days, And I cause him to look on My salvation!
Hringsawnae hoi a lung ka kuep sak vaiteh, ka rungngangnae hah ka pâtue han.
