Psalms 91
1 He who is dwelling In the secret place of the Most High, Habitually lodges in the shade of the Mighty,
Khohni kah a huephael ah kho aka sa tah Tlungthang hlip ah rhaehrhong van ni.
2 He is saying of YHWH, “My refuge, and my bulwark, my God, I trust in Him,”
BOEIPA te, “Ka hlipyingnah neh ka rhalvong,” ka ti eh. Ka Pathen amah dongah ka pangtung eh.
3 For He delivers you from the snare of a fowler, From a calamitous pestilence.
Sayuep kah pael neh talnah duektahaw khui lamkah nang te amah loh n'huul ni.
4 He covers you over with His pinion, And under His wings you trust, His truth [is] a shield and buckler.
A phaemul neh nang n'dah vaengah a phae hmuikah oltak photlinglen neh caempho khuiah na ying ni.
5 You are not afraid of fear by night, Of arrow that flies by day,
Khoyin kah birhihnah khaw, khothaih kah aka thui thaltang te khaw,
6 Of pestilence that walks in thick darkness, Of destruction that destroys at noon,
Khohmuep ah aka pongpa duektahaw khaw, khothun ah aka rhoelrhak sak lucik khaw rhih boeh.
7 One thousand fall at your side, And a myriad at your right hand, [But] it does not come near to you.
Na kaep ah thawngkhat, na bantang ah thawngrha cungku mai cakhaw nang taengla ha thoeih mahpawh.
8 But with your eyes you look, And you see the reward of the wicked,
Na mik neh dawk na paelki vaengah halang rhoek kah a phainah te na hmu ni.
9 (For You, O YHWH, [are] my refuge), You made the Most High your habitation.
Namah loh, “BOEIPA tah ka hlipyingnah koinih, “na ti tih Khohni te na khuirhung la na khueh coeng.
10 Evil does not happen to you, And a plague does not come near your tent,
Yoethae te nang taengla cuhu pawt vetih tlohtat loh na dap taengla ha moe mahpawh.
11 For He charges His messengers for you, To keep you in all your ways,
Na longpuei boeih ah nang aka dawn ham a puencawn rhoek te a uen ni.
12 On the hands they bear you up, Lest you strike your foot against a stone.
A kut neh nang n'dom uh bitni, lungto dongah na kho na khuek ve.
13 You tread on lion and cobra, You trample young lion and dragon.
Sathuengc a neh minta soah na cangdoek vetih, sathuengca neh tuihnam khaw na taelh ni.
14 Because he has delighted in Me, I also deliver him—I set him on high, Because he has known My Name.
Kai taengah a ven uh dongah, anih te ka hlawt van ni. Ka ming a ming dongah, anih te ka hoeptlang ni.
15 He calls Me, and I answer him, I [am] with him in distress, I deliver him, and honor him.
Kai n'khue vaengah anih te a taengah ka doo ni. Kai loh citcai khuiah khaw anih te ka pumcum sak vetih, amah ka thangpom ni.
16 I satisfy him with [the] length of [his] days, And I cause him to look on My salvation!
Anih khohnin sen neh ka kodam sak vetih, kamah kah khangnah te ka hmuh sak ni.
