< Psalms 88 >

1 A SONG. A PSALM OF THE SONS OF KORAH. TO THE OVERSEER. [SET] ON “SICKNESS TO AFFLICT.” AN INSTRUCTION OF HEMAN THE EZRAHITE. O YHWH, God of my salvation, Daily I have cried, nightly before You,
O Yahweh Pakai, eihuhhing'a ka Pathen Elohim, sunleh nangma kakou in, jan leh nakom kahin nailut ji e.
2 My prayer comes in before You, Incline Your ear to my loud cry,
Tun kakouna neijah peh'in lang katona neisan peh'in.
3 For my soul has been full of evils, And my life has come to Sheol. (Sheol h7585)
Ajeh chu kahin khohi boina adim in, thinan eikainai chehcheh e. (Sheol h7585)
4 I have been reckoned with those going down [to] the pit, I have been as a man without strength.
Athisa bang bep kahitai, mithahat tah khat athahat na bei nungsang bep kahitai.
5 Among the dead—free, As pierced ones lying in the grave, Whom You have not remembered anymore, Indeed, they have been cut off by Your hand.
Amahon mithi lah'a eidalha uvin lhan ah mithi lup'in kalum e. Keima hi suhmil in kaum tai, nami kaihoina a kon in eiki lamang tai.
6 You have put me in the lowest pit, In dark places, in depths.
Nang in kotong noinung pen athim pen ah neison lha e.
7 Your fury has lain on me, And You have afflicted [with] all Your breakers. (Selah)
Nalung han na gihtah chun eidelphan, hichu twi kinong bangin akinong'in eichup tai.
8 You have put my acquaintance far from me, You have made me an abomination to them, Shut up—I do not go forth.
Keima hi doumah in neisem in kagol kapai ho neidelmang peh gamtai. Keima hi thang'ah ka-oh in kitoldoh theilouvin kaum e.
9 My eye has grieved because of affliction, I called You, O YHWH, all the day, I have spread out my hands to You.
Kamit lhin kamit achupmin kho muthei louvin kaum e. O Yahweh Pakai niseh'in na panpina kathum in nami lungsetna ngaichan kakhut teni kahin sange.
10 Do You do wonders to the dead? Does Rephaim rise? Do they thank You? (Selah)
Nathil kidang bol hohi mithi dinga phachom ding hinam? Mithi hungthodoh a nathangvah theiding hinam?
11 Is Your kindness recounted in the grave? Your faithfulness in destruction?
Lhankhuh a kon in amahon nami ngailutna longlou hi ahin phongdoh theina diuvem? Suhmangna mun'a umhon nakitah nahi aphongdoh theina diuvem?
12 Are Your wonders known in the darkness? And Your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
Muthim'in nathilbol kidang hohi aseiphong nadiuvem? Thil suhmil delna gama umhon na chonphat na hochu aseiphong theina diuvem?
13 And I, to You, O YHWH, I have cried, And in the morning my prayer comes before You.
O Yahweh Pakai nangma kakouve, niseh-a nakom a katao jingding ahi.
14 Why, O YHWH, do You cast off my soul? You hide Your face from me.
O Yahweh Pakai, ibolla kei nei paidoh hitam? Ibol a kei a kon a naki heimang hitam?
15 I [am] afflicted, and expiring from youth, I have borne Your terrors—I pine away.
Kakhang don lai a pat a, kanatna hin thina komcha eina lhutsa ahitan, nagim neina masanga hin thabei leh lungkham tah'in kading e.
16 Your wrath has passed over me, Your terrors have cut me off,
Nalunghan na tijat umtah chun eilonvuh'in, tijat naumna chun eithabei sah e.
17 They have surrounded me as waters all the day, They have gone around against me together,
Hiche hochun sun nilhum in twisoh bangin kavel a eilon khum un ahi. Muthimhi kakinai pipen kagol in apang un ahi.
18 You have put lover and friend far from me, My acquaintance [is] the place of darkness!
Nang man ka mite le ka ngailut cheng neilahpeh tai, Thimjing hi kaki naipi pen ka loi chu ahi tai.
