Psalms 84

1 TO THE OVERSEER. ON THE GITTITH. A PSALM OF THE SONS OF KORAH. How beloved Your dwelling places, YHWH of Hosts!

¡Cuán amables son tus moradas, o! Jehová de los ejércitos!

2 My soul desired, indeed, it has also been consumed, For the courts of YHWH, My heart and my flesh cry aloud to the living God,

Codicia, y aun ardientemente desea mi alma los patios de Jehová; mi corazón y mi carne cantan al Dios vivo.

3 Even a sparrow has found a house, And a swallow a nest for herself, Where she has placed her brood—Your altars, O YHWH of Hosts, My king and my God.

Aun el gorrión halla casa, y la golondrina nido para sí, donde ponga sus pollos en tus altares, Jehová de los ejércitos, Rey mío, y Dios mío.

4 O the blessedness of those inhabiting Your house, Yet they praise You. (Selah)

Bienaventurados los que habitan en tu casa; perpetuamente te alabarán. (Selah)

5 O the blessedness of a man whose strength is in You, Highways [are] in their heart.

Bienaventurado el hombre, que tiene su fortaleza en ti: caminos en sus corazones.

6 Those passing through a valley of weeping make it a spring, The early rain covers it with pools.

Pasando por el valle de los morales lo ponen a él por fuente: y también lo ponen por bendiciones, cuando los cubre la lluvia.

7 They go from strength to strength, He appears to God in Zion.

Irán de ejército en ejército; verán a Dios en Sión.

8 O YHWH, God of Hosts, hear my prayer, Give ear, O God of Jacob. (Selah)

Jehová, Dios de los ejércitos, oye mi oración: escucha, o! Dios de Jacob. (Selah)

9 Our shield, see, O God, And behold the face of Your anointed,

Mira, o! Dios escudo nuestro: y pon los ojos en el rostro de tu ungido.

10 For a day in Your courts [is] good, O Teacher! I have chosen rather to be at the threshold, In the house of my God, Than to dwell in tents of wickedness.

Porque mejor es un día en tus patios, que mil. Escogí antes estar a la puerta en la casa de mi Dios, que habitar en las moradas de maldad.

11 For YHWH God [is] a sun and a shield, YHWH gives grace and glory. He does not withhold good To those walking in uprightness.

Porque sol y escudo nos es Jehová Dios: gracia y gloria dará Jehová: no quitará el bien a los que andan en integridad.

12 YHWH of Hosts! O the blessedness of a man trusting in You.

Jehová de los ejércitos, dichoso el hombre que confía en ti.
