1 A SONG. A PSALM OF ASAPH. O God, let there be no silence to You, Do not be silent, nor be quiet, O God.

2 For behold, Your enemies roar, And those hating You have lifted up the head,

3 They take crafty counsel against Your people, And consult against Your hidden ones.

4 They have said, “Come, and we cut them off from [being] a nation, And the name of Israel is not remembered anymore.”
Nihcae mah, Angzo oh, nihcae to acaeng ah ohhaih thung hoiah anghmasak ving si; Israel ahmin to mi mah doeh panoek mak ai boeh, tiah thuih o.
5 For they consulted in heart together, They make a covenant against You,

6 Tents of Edom, and Ishmaelites, Moab, and the Hagarenes,
Edom ih kahni imnawk hoi Ishmael ih caanawk, Moab kaminawk hoi Hagar ih kaminawk;
7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek, Philistia with inhabitants of Tyre,
Gebal kaminawk, Ammon kaminawk hoi Amelek kaminawk, Philistia kaminawk hoi Tura vangpui kaminawk;
8 Asshur is also joined with them, They have been an arm to sons of Lot. (Selah)

9 Do to them as Midian, As Sisera, as Jabin, at the Brook of Kishon.

10 They were destroyed at Endor, They were dung for the ground!

11 Make their nobles as Oreb and as Zeeb, And as Zebah and Zalmunna—all their princes,
Nihcae ih kalen kaminawk to Oreb hoi Zeeb baktiah sah ah; ue, angmacae angraeng ih caanawk to Zebah hoi Zalmunna baktiah omsak ah,
12 Who have said, “Let us occupy the pastures of God for ourselves.”

13 O my God, make them as a rolling thing, As stubble before wind.
Aw ka Sithaw, nihcae to takhi mah pahae ih anghnoeng baktiah omsak ah loe, takhi mah hmuh ih tavai baktiah angcoengsak ah.
14 As a fire burns a forest, And as a flame sets hills on fire,
Hmai mah kangh ih thing baktih, hmai mah maenawk kangh naah kangqong hmaipalai baktiah omsak ah,
15 So You pursue them with Your whirlwind, And trouble them with Your windstorm.

16 Fill their faces [with] shame, And they seek Your Name, O YHWH.

17 They are ashamed and troubled forever, Indeed, they are confounded and lost.

18 And they know that You—Your Name [is] YHWH—By Yourself [are] the Most High over all the earth!
