Psalms 82

1 A PSALM OF ASAPH. God has stood in the congregation of God, He judges among the gods.

१आसाप का भजन परमेश्वर दिव्य सभा में खड़ा है: वह ईश्वरों के बीच में न्याय करता है।

2 Until when do you judge perversely? And lift up the face of the wicked? (Selah)

२“तुम लोग कब तक टेढ़ा न्याय करते और दुष्टों का पक्ष लेते रहोगे? (सेला)

3 Judge the weak and fatherless, Declare the afflicted and the poor righteous.

३कंगाल और अनाथों का न्याय चुकाओ, दीन-दरिद्र का विचार धर्म से करो।

4 Let the weak and needy escape, Deliver them from the hand of the wicked.

४कंगाल और निर्धन को बचा लो; दुष्टों के हाथ से उन्हें छुड़ाओ।”

5 They did not know, nor do they understand, They habitually walk in darkness, All the foundations of earth are moved.

५वे न तो कुछ समझते और न कुछ जानते हैं, परन्तु अंधेरे में चलते फिरते रहते हैं; पृथ्वी की पूरी नींव हिल जाती है।

6 I have said, “You [are] gods, And sons of the Most High—all of you,

६मैंने कहा था “तुम ईश्वर हो, और सब के सब परमप्रधान के पुत्र हो;

7 But you die as man, and you fall as one of the heads.”

७तो भी तुम मनुष्यों के समान मरोगे, और किसी प्रधान के समान गिर जाओगे।”

8 Rise, O God, judge the earth, For You have inheritance among all the nations!

८हे परमेश्वर उठ, पृथ्वी का न्याय कर; क्योंकि तू ही सब जातियों को अपने भाग में लेगा!
