Psalms 81
1 TO THE OVERSEER. ON THE GITTITH. BY ASAPH. Cry aloud to God our strength, Shout to the God of Jacob.
੧ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ: ਗਿਤੀਥ ਰਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਸਾਡੇ ਬਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਜੈਕਾਰਾ ਗਜਾਓ, ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਈ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਲਲਕਾਰੋ!
2 Lift up a song, and give out a timbrel, A pleasant harp with stringed instrument.
੨ਕੋਈ ਭਜਨ ਛੇੜੋ, ਅਤੇ ਡੱਫ਼, ਮਿੱਠੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਦੀ ਬਰਬਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਤਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਵਜਾਓ।
3 Blow a horn in the month, In the new moon, at the day of our festival,
੩ਅਮੱਸਿਆ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀ ਵਜਾਓ, ਨਾਲੇ ਪੂਰਨਮਾਸੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੀ ਜੋ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਬ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਹੈ।
4 For it [is] a statute to Israel, An ordinance of the God of Jacob.
੪ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਬਿਧੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮਨਾਮਾ ਹੈ।
5 He has placed it—a testimony on Joseph, In his going forth over the land of Egypt. A lip, I have not known—I hear.
੫ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਲਈ ਸਾਖੀ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ, ਜਦ ਉਹ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਨਿੱਕਲਿਆ। ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੀ ਬੋਲੀ ਸੁਣਨ ਲੱਗਾ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ,
6 I turned aside his shoulder from the burden, His hands pass over from the basket.
੬ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਮੋਢੇ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਭਾਰ ਲਹਾਇਆ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਟੋਕਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਛੁੱਟ ਗਏ।
7 In distress you have called and I deliver you, I answer you in the secret place of thunder, I try you by the waters of Meribah. (Selah)
੭ਤੂੰ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਪੁਕਾਰਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾਇਆ, ਗੱਜਣ ਦੇ ਗੁਪਤ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਮਰੀਬਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਕੋਲ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਰਖਿਆ। ਸਲਹ।
8 Hear, O My people, and I testify to you, O Israel, if you listen to me:
੮ਸੁਣ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਾਖੀ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਹੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ, ਕਾਸ਼ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਸੁਣਦਾ!।
9 There is not in you a strange god, And you do not bow yourself to a strange god.
੯ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਓਪਰਾ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਪਰਾਏ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕੀਂ!
10 I [am] your God YHWH, Who brings you up out of the land of Egypt. Enlarge your mouth, and I fill it.
੧੦ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਹਾਂ, ਜੋ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ ਤੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਲਿਆਇਆ, ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਟੱਡ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਭਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।
11 But My people did not listen to My voice, And Israel has not consented to Me.
੧੧ਪਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨਾ ਸੁਣੀ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਚਾਹਿਆ,
12 And I send them away in the enmity of their heart, They walk in their own counsels.
੧੨ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਖੱਚਰਪੁਣੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਕਿ ਓਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਮਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਚੱਲਣ।
13 O that My people were listening to Me, Israel would walk in My ways.
੧੩ਕਾਸ਼ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਮੇਰੀ ਸੁਣਦੀ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਰਗਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੱਲਦਾ!
14 As a little thing I cause their enemies to bow, And I turn back My hand against their adversaries,
੧੪ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਛੇਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਦੱਬ ਦਿੰਦਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਚੁੱਕਦਾ!
15 Those hating YHWH should have feigned [obedience] to Him, And their time would last for all time.
੧੫ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਅਧੀਨ ਬਣ ਬਹਿੰਦੇ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਸਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ,
16 He causes him to eat of the fat of wheat, And I satisfy you [with] honey from a rock!
੧੬ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਤੋਂ ਚੰਗੀ ਕਣਕ ਖੁਆਲਦਾ, ਅਤੇ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ!।
