Psalms 8

1 TO THE OVERSEER. ON THE GITTITH. A PSALM OF DAVID. YHWH, our Lord, How majestic [is] Your Name in all the earth, Who have set Your splendor on the heavens!

Don mai bi da kaɗe-kaɗe. Bisa ga gittit. Zabura ta Dawuda. Ya Ubangiji, shugabanmu, sunanka da girma take a cikin dukan duniya! Ka kafa ɗaukakarka bisa sammai.

2 From the mouths of infants and sucklings You have founded strength, Because of Your adversaries, To still an enemy and a self-avenger.

Daga leɓunan yara da jarirai ka kafa yabo domin su sa abokan gābanka da masu ɗaukan fansa su yi shiru.

3 For I see Your heavens, a work of Your fingers, [The] moon and stars that You established.

Sa’ad da na dubi sammai, aikin yatsotsinka, wata da taurari waɗanda ka ajiye a wurarensu,

4 What [is] man that You remember him? The son of man that You inspect him?

wane ne mutum da kake tunawa da shi, ɗan mutum da kake lura da shi?

5 You make him a little lower than the gods [[or God]], And surround him with glory and majesty.

Ka yi shi ƙasa kaɗan da Allah ka yi masa rawani da ɗaukaka da girma.

6 You cause him to rule Over the works of Your hands, You have placed all under his feet.

Ka mai da shi mai mulki bisa ayyukan hannuwanka; ka sa kome a ƙarƙashin ƙafafunsa,

7 Sheep and oxen, all of them, And also beasts of the field,

dukan shanu da tumaki, da kuma namun jeji,

8 Bird of the heavens, and fish of the sea, Passing through the paths of the seas!

tsuntsayen sararin sama da kifin teku, da dukan abin da yake yawo a ƙarƙashin ruwan teku.

9 YHWH, our Lord, How majestic [is] Your Name in all the earth!

Ya Ubangiji, shugabanmu, sunanka da girma take a cikin dukan duniya!
