< Psalms 77 >

1 TO THE OVERSEER. FOR JEDUTHUN. A PSALM OF ASAPH. My voice [is] to God, and I cry, My voice [is] to God, And He has given ear to me.
KAHEA aku la au i ke Akua ma ko'u leo, Ma ko'u leo i ke Akua, a hoolohe mai la ia ia'u.
2 I sought the Lord in a day of my distress, My hand has been spread out by night, And it does not cease, My soul has refused to be comforted.
3 I remember God, and make a noise, I meditate, and my spirit is feeble. (Selah)
(Sila)
4 You have taken hold of the watches of my eyes, I have been moved, and I do not speak.
Ua paa ia oe na alu o ko'u mau maka: Ua lauwiliia hoi au, aole hiki ke olelo aku.
5 I have reckoned the days of old, The years of the ages.
Noonoo no au i na la kahiko, I na makahiki hoi o ka wa mamua loa aku.
6 I remember my music in the night, I meditate with my heart, and my spirit searches diligently:
Hoomanao iho la au i kuu mele i ka po: Me kuu naau wau i kukakuka iho ai; Huli ikaika hoi ko'u manao.
7 Does the Lord cast off for all ages? Does He add to be pleased no longer?
8 Has His kindness ceased forever? The saying failed from generation to generation?
Ua pauhia anei kona lokomaikai? Ua hala mau loa aku anei kana olelo?
9 Has God forgotten [His] favors? Has He shut up His mercies in anger? (Selah)
Ua hoopoina anei ke Akua i ka lokomaikai? Ua puliki anei oia i kona aloha iloko o ka huhu? (Sila)
10 And I say: “My weakness is, The changes of the right hand of the Most High.”
11 I mention the doings of YAH, For I remember Your wonders of old,
E hoomanao aku au i na hana mana a Iehova: E hoomanaoio no hoi au i na mea kupanaha au, i ka wa kahiko.
12 And I have meditated on all Your working, And I talk concerning Your doings.
E noonoo aku au i kau hana a pau, A e manao nui hoi i kau mau haua mana.
13 O God, Your way [is] in holiness, Who [is] a great god like God?
Aia kou aoao, e ke Akua, ma kahi hoano, Owai la ke Akua nui e like me ke Akua?
14 You [are] the God doing wonders. You have made Your strength known among the peoples,
O oe ke Akua nana i hana na mea mana: Ua hoike mai no hoi oe i kou ikaika mawaena o na kanaka.
15 You have redeemed Your people with strength, The sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Selah)
I kou lima iho no oe i panai ai i kou poe kanaka, I na mamo a Iseraela, a me Iosepa. (Sila)
16 The waters have seen You, O God, The waters have seen You, They are afraid—also depths are troubled.
Ike aku la na wai ia oe, e ke Akua; Ike aku la na wai ia oe, a haalulu iho la: Kupikipikio no hoi na hohonu.
17 Thick clouds have poured out waters, The skies have given forth a noise, Also—Your arrows go up and down.
18 The voice of Your thunder [is] in the spheres, Lightnings have lightened the world, The earth has trembled, indeed, it shakes.
Maloko o ka puahiohio ka leo o kou hekili: Hoomalamalama mai la na uila i ka honua: Naue iho la ka honua me ka haalulu.
19 Your way [is] in the sea, And Your paths in many waters, And Your tracks have not been known.
20 You have led Your people as a flock, By the hand of Moses and Aaron!
Alakai aku no oe i kou poe me he ohana hipa la, Ma ka lima o Mose, ma laua o Aarona.
