Psalms 76

1 TO THE OVERSEER. WITH STRINGED INSTRUMENTS. A PSALM OF ASAPH. A SONG. God [is] known in Judah, His Name [is] great in Israel.

౧ప్రధాన సంగీతకారుని కోసం, తీగ వాయిద్యాలతో పాడేది. ఆసాపు కీర్తన, ఒక పాట. యూదాలో దేవుడు తనను తెలియబరచుకున్నాడు. ఇశ్రాయేలులో ఆయన నామం ఘనమైనది.

2 And His dwelling place is in Salem, And His habitation in Zion.

౨షాలేంలో ఆయన నివాసం ఉంది, సీయోనులో ఆయన గృహం ఉంది.

3 There He has shattered arrows of a bow, Shield, and sword, and battle. (Selah)

౩అక్కడ ఆయన విల్లంబులు, డాలు, కత్తి మిగతా యుద్ధాయుధాలను విరిచి వేశాడు. (సెలా)

4 You [are] bright, majestic above hills of prey.

౪నువ్వు నీ శత్రువులను జయించి పర్వతాల నుంచి దిగి వస్తూ మెరిసిపోతున్నావు. నీ మహిమను ప్రదర్శిస్తున్నావు.

5 The mighty of heart have spoiled themselves, They have slept their sleep, And none of the men of might found their hands.

౫గుండె ధైర్యం గలవారు దోపిడికి గురి అయ్యారు. నిద్రపోయారు. శూరులంతా నిస్సహాయులయ్యారు.

6 From Your rebuke, O God of Jacob, Both rider and horse have been fast asleep.

౬యాకోబు దేవా, యుద్ధంలో నీ గద్దింపుకు గుర్రం, రౌతు కూడా మూర్ఛిల్లారు.

7 You, fearful [are] You, And who stands before You, Since You have been angry?

౭నీకు, నీకు మాత్రమే భయపడాలి. నువ్వు కోపపడితే నీ ఎదుట ఎవరు నిలుస్తారు?

8 You have sounded judgment from the heavens, Earth has feared, and has been still,

౮నీ తీర్పు పరలోకం నుంచి వచ్చింది, భూమికి భయమేసింది, అది మౌనంగా ఉంది.

9 In the rising of God to judgment, To save all the humble of earth. (Selah)

౯దేవా! నువ్వు తీర్పు ప్రకటించడానికి, దేశమంతటా అణగారిన వాళ్ళను కాపాడడానికి లేచావు. (సెలా)

10 For the fierceness of man praises You, You gird on the remnant of fierceness.

౧౦కోపంతో వారిపై నీ తీర్పు ప్రజలు కచ్చితంగా నిన్ను స్తుతించేలా చేస్తుంది. నీ ఆగ్రహాన్ని నువ్వు పూర్తిగా వెల్లడిస్తావు.

11 Vow and complete to your God YHWH, All you surrounding Him, They bring presents to the Fearful One.

౧౧మీ యెహోవా దేవునికి మొక్కుకుని వాటిని చెల్లించండి. ఆయన చుట్టూ ఉన్న వాళ్ళంతా భయభక్తులకు పాత్రుడైన ఆయనకు కానుకలు తీసుకు రండి.

12 He gathers the spirit of leaders, Fearful to the kings of earth!

౧౨అధికారుల పొగరును ఆయన అణచివేస్తాడు, భూరాజులు ఆయనకు భయపడతారు.
