Psalms 72
1 BY SOLOMON. O God, give Your judgments to the king, And Your righteousness to the king’s Son.
Oh ʼElohim, da tus juicios al rey, Y tu justicia al hijo del rey.
2 He judges Your people with righteousness, And Your poor with judgment.
Él juzgará a tu pueblo con rectitud, Y a tus afligidos con justicia.
3 The mountains bear peace to the people, And the heights by righteousness.
Que las montañas traigan paz al pueblo, Y las colinas, justicia.
4 He judges the poor of the people, Gives deliverance to the sons of the needy, And bruises the oppressor.
Que Él defienda al afligido del pueblo, Que salve a los hijos del menesteroso, Y quebrante al opresor.
5 They fear You with the sun, and before the moon, Generation—generations.
Que te teman mientras duren el sol y la luna, A través de todas las generaciones.
6 He comes down as rain on mown grass, As showers—sprinkling the earth.
Que Él baje como lluvia sobre la hierba antes de cortarla, Como aguaceros que riegan la tierra.
7 The righteous flourish in His days, And abundance of peace until the moon is not.
Que en sus días florezcan los justos, Y abunde la paz hasta que no haya luna.
8 And He rules from sea to sea, And from the river to the ends of the earth.
Que Él también domine de mar a mar, Y desde el río hasta los confines de la tierra.
9 Desert-dwellers bow before Him, And His enemies lick the dust.
Que ante Él se inclinen los nómadas del desierto, Y sus enemigos laman el polvo.
10 Kings of Tarshish and of the islands send back a present. Kings of Sheba and Seba bring a reward near.
Que los reyes de Tarsis y las islas le traigan regalos. Que los reyes de Sabá y Seba le ofrezcan dones.
11 And all kings bow themselves to Him, All nations serve Him,
Que se postren ante Él todos los reyes, Y todas las naciones le sirvan.
12 For He delivers the needy who cries, And the poor when he has no helper,
Porque Él librará al necesitado que clama por ayuda, También al afligido y al que no tiene ayudador.
13 He has pity on the poor and needy, And He saves the souls of the needy,
Tendrá compasión del pobre y necesitado, Y salvará las vidas de los menesterosos.
14 He redeems their soul from fraud and from violence, And their blood is precious in His eyes.
Rescatará sus vidas de opresión y violencia, Y la sangre de ellos será preciosa ante sus ojos.
15 And He lives, and the gold of Sheba [is] given to Him, And prayer is continually made for Him, All day He is continually blessed.
¡Que viva y se le dé el oro de Sabá! ¡Y que oren por él continuamente, Y que todo el día lo bendigan!
16 There is a handful of grain in the earth, On the top of mountains, Its fruit shakes like Lebanon, And they flourish out of the city as the herb of the earth.
Que haya abundancia de grano en la tierra, en la cima de las montañas. Que su fruto se agite como el Líbano, Y los de la ciudad florezcan como la hierba de la tierra.
17 His Name is for all time, Before the sun is His Name continued, And they bless themselves in Him, All nations pronounce Him blessed.
¡Que tu Nombre dure por siempre! Que tu Nombre sea propagado mientras brille el sol, Y que los hombres sean bendecidos por él. Que todas las naciones los llamen Inmensamente felices.
18 Blessed is YHWH God, God of Israel, He alone is doing wonders,
¡Bendito sea Yavé ʼElohim, el ʼElohim de Israel, El único que hace maravillas!
19 And blessed [is] the Name of His glory for all time, And the whole earth is filled [with] His glory. Amen and amen!
¡Bendito para siempre sea tu Nombre glorioso, Y que toda la tierra sea llena de tu gloria! ¡Amén y amén!
20 The prayers of David son of Jesse have been ended.
