< Psalms 72 >
1 BY SOLOMON. O God, give Your judgments to the king, And Your righteousness to the king’s Son.
Zabbuli ya Sulemaani. Ayi Katonda, kabaka omuwe okuba omwenkanya, ne mutabani we omuwe obutuukirivu,
2 He judges Your people with righteousness, And Your poor with judgment.
alyoke alamulenga abantu bo mu butuukirivu, n’abaavu abalamulenga mu mazima.
3 The mountains bear peace to the people, And the heights by righteousness.
Ensozi zireeterenga abantu bo okukulaakulana n’obusozi bubaleetere obutuukirivu.
4 He judges the poor of the people, Gives deliverance to the sons of the needy, And bruises the oppressor.
Anaalwaniriranga abaavu, n’atereeza abaana b’abo abeetaaga, n’omujoozi n’amusaanyaawo.
5 They fear You with the sun, and before the moon, Generation—generations.
Abantu bakutyenga ng’enjuba n’omwezi gye bikoma okwaka mu mirembe gyonna.
6 He comes down as rain on mown grass, As showers—sprinkling the earth.
Abeere ng’enkuba bw’etonnya ku muddo ogusaliddwa, afaanane ng’oluwandaggirize olufukirira ensi.
7 The righteous flourish in His days, And abundance of peace until the moon is not.
Obutuukirivu bweyongere nnyo mu mulembe gwe, n’okufuga kwe kujjule emirembe okutuusa omwezi lwe gulikoma okwaka!
8 And He rules from sea to sea, And from the river to the ends of the earth.
Afugenga okuva ku nnyanja okutuuka ku nnyanja, n’okuva ku mugga Fulaati okutuuka ku nkomerero z’ensi!
9 Desert-dwellers bow before Him, And His enemies lick the dust.
Ebika eby’omu malungu bimugonderenga, n’abalabe be bamujeemulukukire beekulukuunye ne mu nfuufu.
10 Kings of Tarshish and of the islands send back a present. Kings of Sheba and Seba bring a reward near.
Bakabaka b’e Talusiisi n’ab’oku bizinga eby’ewala bamuwenga omusolo; bakabaka b’e Syeba n’ab’e Seeba bamutonerenga ebirabo.
11 And all kings bow themselves to Him, All nations serve Him,
Bakabaka bonna banaavuunamanga mu maaso ge; amawanga gonna ganaamuweerezanga.
12 For He delivers the needy who cries, And the poor when he has no helper,
Kubanga anaawonyanga eyeetaaga bw’anaamukoowoolanga, n’omwavu ne kateeyamba ataliiko mwasirizi.
13 He has pity on the poor and needy, And He saves the souls of the needy,
Anaasaasiranga omunafu n’omwavu; n’awonya obulamu bwa kateeyamba.
14 He redeems their soul from fraud and from violence, And their blood is precious in His eyes.
Anaabanunulanga mu mikono gy’omujoozi n’abawonya obukambwe bwe; kubanga obulamu bwabwe bwa muwendo mungi gy’ali.
15 And He lives, and the gold of Sheba [is] given to Him, And prayer is continually made for Him, All day He is continually blessed.
Awangaale! Aleeterwe zaabu okuva e Syeba. Abantu bamwegayiririrenga era bamusabirenga emikisa buli lunaku.
16 There is a handful of grain in the earth, On the top of mountains, Its fruit shakes like Lebanon, And they flourish out of the city as the herb of the earth.
Eŋŋaano ebale nnyingi nnyo mu nsi, ebikke n’entikko z’ensozi. Ebibala byayo byale ng’eby’e Lebanooni; n’abantu baale mu bibuga ng’omuddo ogw’oku ttale.
17 His Name is for all time, Before the sun is His Name continued, And they bless themselves in Him, All nations pronounce Him blessed.
Erinnya lye libeerengawo ennaku zonna, n’okwatiikirira kwe kube kwa nkalakkalira ng’enjuba. Amawanga gonna ganaaweebwanga omukisa ku lu lw’erinnya lye, era abantu bonna bamuyitenga aweereddwa omukisa.
18 Blessed is YHWH God, God of Israel, He alone is doing wonders,
Mukama Katonda agulumizibwe, Katonda wa Isirayiri, oyo yekka akola ebyewuunyisa.
19 And blessed [is] the Name of His glory for all time, And the whole earth is filled [with] His glory. Amen and amen!
Erinnya lye ekkulu ligulumizibwenga emirembe n’emirembe! Ensi yonna ejjule ekitiibwa kye.
