< Psalms 71 >

1 In You, O YHWH, I have trusted, Do not let me be disappointed for all time.
Uz tevi, Kungs, es paļaujos, ne mūžam neliec man palikt kaunā.
2 You deliver me in Your righteousness, And cause me to escape, Incline Your ear to me, and save me.
Izglāb mani caur Savu taisnību un atsvabini mani, atgriez Savu ausi pie manis un atpestī mani.
3 Be a rock to me—a habitation, To go in continually, You have given command to save me, For You [are] my rock and my bulwark.
Esi man par patvērumu, kur es varu dzīvot, kur vienmēr varu bēgt. Tu esi solījis, mani atpestīt, jo Tu esi mans kalns un mana stiprā pils.
4 O my God, cause me to escape From the hand of the wicked, From the hand of the perverse and violent.
Mans Dievs, izglāb mani no bezdievīgā rokas, no netaisnā un varas darītāja rokas,
5 For You [are] my hope, O Lord YHWH, My trust from my youth.
Jo Tu esi mana cerība, Kungs, Dievs, mana drošība no manas jaunības.
6 I have been supported from the womb by You, You cut me out from my mother’s bowels, My praise [is] continually in You.
Uz Tevi es esmu paļāvies no mātes miesām, Tu mani esi izvilcis no mātes miesām, mana dziesma Tevi teic bez mitēšanās.
7 I have been as a wonder to many, And You [are] my strong refuge.
8 My mouth is filled [with] Your praise, All the day [with] Your beauty.
9 Do not cast me off at the time of old age, Do not forsake me according to the consumption of my power.
Neatmet mani vecumā, neatstāj mani, kad spēks man zūd.
10 For my enemies have spoken against me, And those watching my soul have taken counsel together,
11 Saying, “God has forsaken him, Pursue and catch him, for there is no deliverer.”
12 O God, do not be far from me, O my God, make haste for my help.
Dievs, neesi tālu no manis, mans Dievs, steidzies man palīgā.
13 They are ashamed, they are consumed, Who are opposing my soul, They are covered [with] reproach and blushing, Who are seeking my evil,
14 And I continually wait with hope, And have added to all Your praise.
15 My mouth recounts Your righteousness, All the day Your salvation, For I have not known the numbers.
Mana mute izteiks Tavu taisnību, cauru dienu Tavu pestīšanu, jebšu to nemāku izskaitīt.
16 I come in [the] might of Lord YHWH, I mention Your righteousness—Yours alone.
Es staigāšu Tā Kunga spēkā, es pieminēšu Tavu taisnību, Tevi vien.
17 God, You have taught me from my youth, And until now I declare Your wonders.
Ak Dievs, Tu mani esi mācījis no manas jaunības; un līdz šim es pasludināju Tavus brīnumus.
18 And also to old age and grey hairs, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to a generation, Your might to everyone that comes.
Tad nu arīdzan, kad vecums un sirmi mati ir klāt, neatstāj mani, ak Dievs, tiekams es Tavu elkoni būšu pasludinājis bērnu bērniem un Tavu stiprumu visiem pēcnākamiem.
19 And Your righteousness, O God, [is] to the heights, Because You have done great things, O God, who [is] like You?
20 Because You have showed me many and sad distresses, You turn back—You revive me, And from the depths of the earth, You turn back—You bring me up.
Tu man lieci redzēt daudz bēdas un mokas, Tu mani darīsi atkal dzīvu, un mani izvilksi no zemes dziļumiem.
21 You increase my greatness, And You surround—You comfort me,
Vairo manu godu, un iepriecini mani atkal.
22 I also thank You with a vessel of stringed instrument, Your truth, O my God, I sing to You with a harp, O Holy One of Israel,
23 My lips cry aloud when I sing praise to You, And my soul that You have redeemed,
Manas lūpas gavilēs, kad es Tev dziedāšu, un mana dvēsele, ko Tu esi atpestījis.
24 My tongue also utters Your righteousness all the day, Because ashamed—because confounded, Have been those seeking my evil!
