< Psalms 66 >

1 TO THE OVERSEER. A SONG. A PSALM. Shout to God, all the earth.
Fún adarí orin. Orin. Saamu. Ẹ hó ìhó ayọ̀ sí Ọlọ́run, ẹ̀yin ilẹ̀ gbogbo!
2 Praise the glory of His Name, Make honorable His praise.
Ẹ kọrin ọlá orúkọ rẹ̀; ẹ kọrin ìyìnsí i.
3 Say to God, “How fearful Your works—By the abundance of Your strength, Your enemies feign obedience to You.
Ẹ wí fún Ọlọ́run pé, “Ìwọ ti ní ẹ̀rù tó nínú iṣẹ́ rẹ! Nípa ọ̀pọ̀ agbára rẹ ni àwọn ọ̀tá rẹ yóò fi sìn ọ́.
4 All the earth bows to You, They sing praise to You, they praise Your Name.” (Selah)
Gbogbo ayé ń wólẹ̀ fún ọ; wọn ń kọrin ìyìn sí ọ, wọ́n ń kọrin ìyìn sí orúkọ rẹ.” (Sela)
5 Come, and see the works of God, Fearful acts toward the sons of men.
Ẹ wá wo ohun tí Ọlọ́run ṣe, iṣẹ́ rẹ̀ ti ní ẹ̀rù tó sí àwọn ọmọ ènìyàn!
6 He has turned a sea to dry land, Through a river they pass over on foot, There we rejoice in Him.
Ó yí òkun padà sí ilẹ̀ gbígbẹ, wọ́n fi ẹsẹ̀ rin inú omi kọjá, níbẹ̀ ni àwa yọ̀ nínú rẹ̀.
7 Ruling by His might for all time, His eyes watch among the nations, The stubborn do not exalt themselves. (Selah)
Ó ń jẹ ọba títí láé nípa agbára rẹ̀, ojú rẹ̀ ń wo orílẹ̀-èdè kí àwọn ọlọ̀tẹ̀ má ṣe gbé ara wọn ga. (Sela)
8 Bless our God you peoples, And sound the voice of His praise,
Ẹ yin Ọlọ́run wa, ẹ̀yin ènìyàn, jẹ́ kí a mú ni gbọ́ ohùn ìyìn rẹ̀;
9 Who has placed our soul in life, And has not permitted our feet to be moved.
Ó ti dá ààbò bo ẹ̀mí wa, kò sì jẹ́ kí ẹsẹ̀ wa kí ó yẹ̀.
10 For You have tried us, O God, You have refined us as the refining of silver.
Nítorí ìwọ, Ọlọ́run, dán wa wò; ìwọ dán wa bí a tí ń dán fàdákà wò.
11 You have brought us into a net, You have placed pressure on our loins.
Ìwọ mú wa wá sínú ẹ̀wọ̀n o sì di ẹrù lé ẹ̀yìn wa.
12 You have caused man to ride at our head. We have entered into fire and into water, And You bring us out to a watered place.
Ìwọ mú àwọn ènìyàn gún wá ní orí àwa la iná àti omi kọjá ṣùgbọ́n ìwọ mú wa dé ibi ọ̀pọ̀.
13 I enter Your house with burnt-offerings, I complete my vows to You,
Èmi ó wá sí tẹmpili rẹ pẹ̀lú ọrẹ ẹbọ sísun, kí n sì mú ẹ̀jẹ́ mi ṣẹ sí ọ,
14 For my lips were opened, And my mouth spoke in my distress:
ẹ̀jẹ́ tí ètè mi jẹ́, tí ẹnu mi sì sọ nígbà tí mo wà nínú ìṣòro.
15 “I offer to You burnt-offerings of fatlings, With incense of rams, I prepare a bullock with male goats.” (Selah)
Èmi ó rú ẹbọ sísun ọlọ́ràá sí ọ, àti ẹbọ ọ̀rá àgbò; èmi ó rú akọ màlúù àti ewúrẹ́. (Sela)
16 Come, hear, all you who fear God, And I recount what He did for my soul.
Ẹ wá gbọ́ gbogbo ẹ̀yin tí ó bẹ̀rù Ọlọ́run; ẹ jẹ́ kí n sọ ohun tí ó ṣe fún mi.
17 I have called to Him [with] my mouth, And exaltation [is] under my tongue.
Mo fi ẹnu mi kígbe sókè sí i, ìyìn rẹ̀ wà ní ẹnu mi.
18 Iniquity, if I have seen in my heart, The Lord does not hear.
Bí èmi bá gba ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ ní àyà mi, Olúwa kì yóò gbọ́ ohùn mi;
19 But God has heard, He has attended to the voice of my prayer.
ṣùgbọ́n Ọlọ́run gbọ́ nítòótọ́ ó ti gbọ́ ohùn mi nínú àdúrà.
20 Blessed [is] God, Who has not turned aside my prayer, And His loving-kindness, from me!
Ìyìn ni fún Ọlọ́run ẹni tí kò kọ àdúrà mi tàbí mú ìfẹ́ rẹ̀ kúrò lọ́dọ̀ mi!
