< Psalms 66 >
1 TO THE OVERSEER. A SONG. A PSALM. Shout to God, all the earth.
Dawid dwom. Asase nyinaa momfa ahosɛpɛw nteɛ mu mma Onyankopɔn!
2 Praise the glory of His Name, Make honorable His praise.
Monto ne din anuonyamhyɛ ho dwom; momma nʼayeyi nyɛ anuonyamhyɛ!
3 Say to God, “How fearful Your works—By the abundance of Your strength, Your enemies feign obedience to You.
Munse Onyankopɔn sɛ, “Wo nneyɛe yɛ nwonwa dodo! Wo tumi so mmoroso a wʼatamfo nyinaa de osuro kotow wʼanim.
4 All the earth bows to You, They sing praise to You, they praise Your Name.” (Selah)
Asase nyinaa kotow wo; wɔto ayeyi dwom ma wo, wɔto dwom kamfo wo din.”
5 Come, and see the works of God, Fearful acts toward the sons of men.
Mommra mmɛhwɛ nea Onyankopɔn ayɛ; anwonwade a wayɛ wɔ nnipa mu.
6 He has turned a sea to dry land, Through a river they pass over on foot, There we rejoice in Him.
Ɔmaa po yɛɛ asase kesee; wɔnantew twaa nsu no mommra mma yenni ahurusi wɔ no mu.
7 Ruling by His might for all time, His eyes watch among the nations, The stubborn do not exalt themselves. (Selah)
Ɔde ne tumi di hene daa daa, na ɔde nʼani nso hwɛ aman so. Mma atuatewfo nsɔre ntia no.
8 Bless our God you peoples, And sound the voice of His praise,
Aman nyinaa, munhyira yɛn Nyankopɔn, momma wɔnte mo nkamfo no nnyigyei;
9 Who has placed our soul in life, And has not permitted our feet to be moved.
wahwɛ yɛn nkwa so na wamma yɛn anan anwatiri.
10 For You have tried us, O God, You have refined us as the refining of silver.
Na wo, Onyankopɔn, wosɔɔ yɛn hwɛe; na wonan yɛn sɛ dwetɛ.
11 You have brought us into a net, You have placed pressure on our loins.
Wode yɛn koguu afiase na wode nneɛma a ɛyɛ duru too yɛn akyi.
12 You have caused man to ride at our head. We have entered into fire and into water, And You bring us out to a watered place.
Womaa yɛn atamfo twiw faa yɛn so; yɛfaa ogya ne nsu mu, nanso wode yɛn baa faako a nnepa abu so.
13 I enter Your house with burnt-offerings, I complete my vows to You,
Mede ɔhyew afɔre bɛba wʼasɔredan mu na madi bɔ a mahyɛ wo no so,
14 For my lips were opened, And my mouth spoke in my distress:
bɔ a mʼanofafa hyɛe, na mʼano kaa bere a na mewɔ ɔhaw mu no.
15 “I offer to You burnt-offerings of fatlings, With incense of rams, I prepare a bullock with male goats.” (Selah)
Mede mmoa a wɔadɔ srade bɛbɔ afɔre ama wo; adwennini ayɛyɛde; mede anantwinini ne mpapo bɛbɔ afɔre.
16 Come, hear, all you who fear God, And I recount what He did for my soul.
Mommra mmetie, mo a musuro Onyankopɔn nyinaa; momma menka nea wayɛ ama me nkyerɛ mo.
17 I have called to Him [with] my mouth, And exaltation [is] under my tongue.
Mede mʼano su frɛɛ no; na me tɛkrɛma yii no ayɛ.
18 Iniquity, if I have seen in my heart, The Lord does not hear.
Sɛ mede bɔne hyɛɛ me koma mu a, anka Awurade antie me.
19 But God has heard, He has attended to the voice of my prayer.
Nanso nokware, Onyankopɔn atie me, wate me mpaebɔ.
20 Blessed [is] God, Who has not turned aside my prayer, And His loving-kindness, from me!
Nhyira nka Onyankopɔn, a wampo me mpaebɔ na wanyi nʼadɔe amfi me so. Wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo. Wɔde sanku na ɛto.
