< Psalms 66 >

1 TO THE OVERSEER. A SONG. A PSALM. Shout to God, all the earth.
Kumqondisi wokuhlabela. Ingoma. Ihubo. Memezani ngentokozo kuNkulunkulu mhlaba wonke!
2 Praise the glory of His Name, Make honorable His praise.
Hlabelani ngobukhosi bebizo lakhe; yenzani udumo lwakhe lube lenkazimulo!
3 Say to God, “How fearful Your works—By the abundance of Your strength, Your enemies feign obedience to You.
Yitshoni kuNkulunkulu lithi, “Imangalisa kangaka imisebenzi yakho! Izitha Zakho ziyethuka phambi Kwakho
4 All the earth bows to You, They sing praise to You, they praise Your Name.” (Selah)
Umhlaba wonke uyakhothama Kuwe; bahlabela udumo Kuwe, bahlabelela udumo ebizweni Lakho.”
5 Come, and see the works of God, Fearful acts toward the sons of men.
Wozani libone akwenzileyo uNkulunkulu, ukumangalisa kwemisebenzi yakhe ayenzela abantu!
6 He has turned a sea to dry land, Through a river they pass over on foot, There we rejoice in Him.
Waguqula ulwandle lwaba ngumhlabathi owomileyo, badabula phakathi kwamanzi behamba ngezinyawo wozani sithokoze Kuye.
7 Ruling by His might for all time, His eyes watch among the nations, The stubborn do not exalt themselves. (Selah)
Uyabusa laphakade ngamandla Akhe, amehlo Akhe ayazikhangela izizwe sengathi abahlamuki.
8 Bless our God you peoples, And sound the voice of His praise,
Dumisani uNkulunkulu wethu, lina bantu lonke, akuthi inhlokomo yokudunyiswa kwakhe izwakale;
9 Who has placed our soul in life, And has not permitted our feet to be moved.
uzilondolozile impilo zethu wavikela inyawo zethu ukuze zingatsheleli.
10 For You have tried us, O God, You have refined us as the refining of silver.
Ngoba wena, Oh Nkulunkulu, wasilinga; wasicenga njengesiliva.
11 You have brought us into a net, You have placed pressure on our loins.
Wasingenisa entolongweni waseleka ngemithwalo emihlane yethu.
12 You have caused man to ride at our head. We have entered into fire and into water, And You bring us out to a watered place.
Wayekela abantu bakhwela bazehlela emakhanda ethu; sedlula phakathi komlilo lamanzi, kodwa wasiletha endaweni yenala.
13 I enter Your house with burnt-offerings, I complete my vows to You,
Ngizakuza ethempelini Lakho lomnikelo wokutshiswa ngigcwalise izifungo zami Kuwe.
14 For my lips were opened, And my mouth spoke in my distress:
Izifungo ezathenjiswa yizindebe zami lomlomo wami lapho ngisekuhluphekeni.
15 “I offer to You burnt-offerings of fatlings, With incense of rams, I prepare a bullock with male goats.” (Selah)
Ngizakuhlabela izifuyo ezinonileyo, lomnikelo wenqama; ngizanikela ngenkunzi kanye lembuzi.
16 Come, hear, all you who fear God, And I recount what He did for my soul.
Wozani lilalele, lina lonke elimesabayo uNkulunkulu; wothani ngilitshele lokho angenzele khona.
17 I have called to Him [with] my mouth, And exaltation [is] under my tongue.
Ngakhala Kuye ngomlomo wami; indumiso yakhe yayisolimini lwami.
18 Iniquity, if I have seen in my heart, The Lord does not hear.
Aluba ngangigcine isono enhliziyweni yami, iNkosi ngabe kayizange ingilalele;
19 But God has heard, He has attended to the voice of my prayer.
kodwa ngeqiniso uNkulunkulu walalela walizwa ilizwi lami ngikhuleka.
20 Blessed [is] God, Who has not turned aside my prayer, And His loving-kindness, from me!
Kadunyiswe uNkulunkulu ongawulahlanga umkhuleko wami futhi ongagodlanga uthando lwakhe kimi.
