Psalms 66
1 TO THE OVERSEER. A SONG. A PSALM. Shout to God, all the earth.
Dem Sangmeister. Ein Lied. Ein Psalm. / Jauchzt Elohim, alle Lande,
2 Praise the glory of His Name, Make honorable His praise.
Besingt seines Namens Ehre, / Preiset ihn herrlich!
3 Say to God, “How fearful Your works—By the abundance of Your strength, Your enemies feign obedience to You.
Sprecht zu Elohim: "Wie hehr sind deine Werke! / Ob deiner großen Macht schmeicheln dir deine Feinde.
4 All the earth bows to You, They sing praise to You, they praise Your Name.” (Selah)
Alle Welt muß dir sich beugen und lobsingen, / Lobsingen deinem Namen!" (Sela)
5 Come, and see the works of God, Fearful acts toward the sons of men.
Kommt, schauet die Taten Elohims! / Hehr waltet er unter den Menschenkindern.
6 He has turned a sea to dry land, Through a river they pass over on foot, There we rejoice in Him.
Er wandelte Meer in trocknes Land, / Daß man den Strom zu Fuß durchzog. / Drum wollen wir uns sein freun.
7 Ruling by His might for all time, His eyes watch among the nations, The stubborn do not exalt themselves. (Selah)
Ewig herrscht er in seiner Macht. / Seine Augen schauen die Völker an: / Die Empörer dürfen sich nicht erheben. (Sela)
8 Bless our God you peoples, And sound the voice of His praise,
Preiset, ihr Völker, unsern Gott, / Laßt laut sein Lob erschallen!
9 Who has placed our soul in life, And has not permitted our feet to be moved.
Er hat uns am Leben erhalten / Und unsern Fuß nicht wanken lassen.
10 For You have tried us, O God, You have refined us as the refining of silver.
Denn du hast uns geprüft, Elohim, / Hast uns wie Silber geläutert:
11 You have brought us into a net, You have placed pressure on our loins.
Du hast uns ins Gefängnis geführt, / Auf unsre Lenden Last gelegt.
12 You have caused man to ride at our head. We have entered into fire and into water, And You bring us out to a watered place.
Du hast uns Menschen zu Herren gesetzt; / Wir sind in Feuer und Wasser geraten — / Aber du hast uns hinausgeführt, / Daß wir reiche Fülle genießen.
13 I enter Your house with burnt-offerings, I complete my vows to You,
Drum komm ich mit Brandopfern in dein Haus, / Will dir meine Gelübde bezahlen,
14 For my lips were opened, And my mouth spoke in my distress:
Die meine Lippen kundgetan, / Die mein Mund geredet in meiner Not.
15 “I offer to You burnt-offerings of fatlings, With incense of rams, I prepare a bullock with male goats.” (Selah)
Als Brandopfer bring ich dir feiste Schafe / Zugleich mit der Widder Opferrauch, / Ich opfre Rinder samt Böcken. (Sela)
16 Come, hear, all you who fear God, And I recount what He did for my soul.
Kommt her, hört zu, ihr Gottesfürchtigen alle! / Erzählen will ich, was er mir getan.
17 I have called to Him [with] my mouth, And exaltation [is] under my tongue.
Zu ihm rief ich mit meinem Munde — / Und Lobpreis war auf meiner Zunge.
18 Iniquity, if I have seen in my heart, The Lord does not hear.
Hegte ich Böses in meinem Herzen, / Adonái würde nicht hören.
19 But God has heard, He has attended to the voice of my prayer.
Aber Elohim hat mich erhört, / Er hat gemerkt auf mein lautes Flehn.
20 Blessed [is] God, Who has not turned aside my prayer, And His loving-kindness, from me!
Gepriesen sei Elohim! Er hat mein Gebet nicht abgewiesen, / Seine Gnade mir nicht entzogen.
