< Psalms 64 >
1 TO THE OVERSEER. A PSALM OF DAVID. Hear, O God, my voice, in my (meditation) You keep my life from the fear of an enemy,
Kwa mwimbishaji. Zaburi ya Daudi. Ee Mungu, unisikie ninapoeleza lalamiko langu, uyahifadhi maisha yangu kutokana na vitisho vya adui.
2 Hide me from the secret counsel of evildoers, From the tumult of workers of iniquity.
3 Who sharpened their tongue as a sword, They directed their arrow—a bitter word.
4 To shoot the perfect in secret places, Suddenly they shoot him, and do not fear.
Hurusha mishale kutoka kwenye mavizio kwa mtu asiye na hatia, humrushia ghafula bila woga.
5 They strengthen an evil thing for themselves, They recount of the hiding of snares, They have said, “Who looks at it?”
Kila mmoja humtia moyo mwenzake katika mipango mibaya; huzungumza juu ya kuficha mitego yao, nao husema, “Ni nani ataiona?”
6 They search out perverse things, “We perfected a searching search,” And the inward part of man, and the heart, [are] deep.
7 And God shoots them [with] an arrow, Their wounds have been sudden,
Bali Mungu atawapiga kwa mishale, nao ghafula wataangushwa.
8 And they cause him to stumble, Their own tongue [is] against them, Every looker on them flees away.
Atageuza ndimi zao wenyewe dhidi yao na kuwaleta kwenye maangamizi; wote wawaonao watatikisa vichwa vyao kwa dharau.
9 And all men fear, and declare the work of God, And they have wisely considered His deed.
10 The righteous rejoice in YHWH, And have trusted in Him, And all the upright of heart boast!
