Psalms 63
1 A PSALM OF DAVID, IN HIS BEING IN THE WILDERNESS OF JUDAH. O God, You [are] my God, earnestly I seek You, My soul has thirsted for You, My flesh has longed for You, In a dry and weary land, without waters.
Salamo nataon’ i Davida, fony tany an-efitr’ i Joda izy. Andriamanitra ô, Andriamanitro Hianao; mitady Anao fatratra aho; mangetaheta Anao ny fanahiko, maniry Anao ny nofoko, eto amin’ ny tany maina sy mangentana tsy misy rano;
2 So I have seen You in the sanctuary, To behold Your strength and Your glory.
Toy izany no nijereko Anao tao amin’ ny fitoerana masìna, hahitako ny herinao sy ny voninahitrao.
3 Because better [is] Your kindness than life, My lips praise You.
Fa tsara noho ny aina ny famindram-ponao; ny molotro hidera Anao.
4 So I bless You in my life, I lift up my hands in Your Name.
Toy izany no hisaorako Anao, raha mbola velona koa aho; amin’ ny anaranao no hanandratako ny tanako.
5 As [with] milk and fatness is my soul satisfied, And [with] singing lips my mouth praises.
Toy ny voky tsoka sy tavy no hahavokisan’ ny fanahiko; ary amin’ ny molotra falifaly no hideran’ ny vavako Anao.
6 If I have remembered You on my bed, I meditate on You in the watches.
Raha mahatsiaro Anao eo am-pandriako aho, dia mieritreritra Anao amin’ ny fiambenan’ alina.
7 For You have been a help to me, And I sing in the shadow of Your wings.
Fa efa namonjy ahy Hianao, ary ao ambanin’ ny aloky ny elatrao no hihobiako.
8 My soul has cleaved after You, Your right hand has taken hold on me.
Mifikitra amiko ny fanahiko; manohana ahy ny tananao ankavanana.
9 And they who seek my soul for desolation, Go into the lower parts of the earth.
Fa ireny dia mitady ny aiko ka mampidi-doza amin’ ny tenany; hiditra any ambanin’ ny tany izy;
10 They cause him to run on the edge of the sword, They are a portion for foxes.
Hatolotra ho amin’ ny herin’ ny sabatra izy; ho anjaran’ ny amboahaolo izy.
11 And the king rejoices in God, Everyone swearing by Him boasts, But the mouth of those speaking lies is stopped!
Fa ny mpanjaka hifaly amin’ Andriamanitra; ho ravoravo izay rehetra mianiana aminy; fa hakombona ny vavan’ izay rehetra mandainga.
