< Psalms 60 >
1 TO THE OVERSEER. [SET] ON “LILY OF TESTIMONY.” A MIKTAM OF DAVID, TO TEACH, IN HIS STRIVING WITH ARAM-NAHARAIM AND WITH ARAM-ZOBAH, WHEN JOAB TURNS BACK AND STRIKES EDOM IN THE VALLEY OF SALT—TWELVE THOUSAND. O God, You had cast us off, You had broken us—had been angry! You turn back to us.

2 You have caused the land to tremble, You have broken it, Heal its breaches, for it has moved.

3 You have shown Your people a hard thing, You have caused us to drink wine of trembling.
Keiho hasatnatah nahin pen, jukham a lon lele ho nei sodoh jeng u ve.
4 You have given an ensign to those fearing You, To be lifted up as an ensign Because of truth. (Selah)
Ahinla nang'in nangma ginna neiho ding'in ponlap khat neina dopsang peh'un, hichu min eihin nokhum teng'uleh eikipunkhom sah'in anapang'in ahi.
5 That Your beloved ones may be drawn out, Save [with] Your right hand, and answer us.
Tun na ngailut na mite hi huhdoh tan, ka taona ngai in lang na ban thahat'in neihuhdoh tauvin.
6 God has spoken in His holiness: I exult—I apportion Shechem, And I measure the Valley of Succoth,

7 Gilead [is] Mine, and Manasseh [is] Mine, And Ephraim [is] the strength of My head, Judah [is] My lawgiver,
Gilead hi keija ahin, chuleh Manasseh jong ahi. Ephraim ka thih lukhuh hin galhat miho ahinsep doh ding, chue Juda ka leng tenggol hin leng tamtah hinsepdoh ding ahi.
8 Moab [is] My pot for washing, Over Edom I cast My shoe, Shout, concerning Me, O Philistia.
Ahin Moab vang hi ka kisilna kong ahin ka sohna ahin toh ding ahi chuleh Edom a hi ka kengto kathehngim ding chutengleh Philistia chung a ka galjona ka hin sapdoh ding ahi.”
9 Who brings me [to] a city of bulwarks? Who has led me to Edom?
Koi pen'in kul kigetkhum khoipi'a hi eipuilut ding ham? Koi pen in Edom chung'a hi galjona eihin pohlut peh ding ham?
10 Is it not You, O God? Have You cast us off? And do You not go forth, O God, with our hosts?
O Elohim Pathen nang'in neipaidoh'u hitam? Nang'in ka sepaite toh galsatna a neihung lhonpi lou ding hitam?
11 Give to us help from adversity, And the deliverance of man [is] vain.
O lungset tah in ka galmiteuva konin neipanpin, ajeh chu mihem panpina hi aphachom aumpoi.
12 We do mightily in God, And He treads down our adversaries!
Elohim Pathen panpina jal'a hi thil loupi tah tah tohdoh'a um ding ahi, ajeh chu Aman imelmate'u achotpha ding ahi.
