Psalms 59
1 TO THE OVERSEER. “DO NOT DESTROY.” A MIKTAM OF DAVID, IN SAUL’S SENDING, AND THEY WATCH THE HOUSE TO PUT HIM TO DEATH. Deliver me from my enemies, O my God, Set me on high from my withstanders.
౧ప్రధాన సంగీతకారుని కోసం. అల్ తశ్హేత్ అనే రాగంతో పాడేది. సౌలు పంపిన మనుషులు ఇంటి దగ్గర పొంచి ఉన్నప్పుడు దావీదు రాసిన మిఖ్తీమ్ (రసిక కావ్యం). నా దేవా, నా శత్రువుల బారినుంచి నన్ను తప్పించు. నా మీద దండెత్తే వారికి చిక్కకుండా నన్ను కాపాడు.
2 Deliver me from workers of iniquity, And save me from men of blood.
౨పాపం చేసేవారి నుండి నన్ను తప్పించు. రక్తం చిందించే వారి నుండి నన్ను రక్షించు.
3 For behold, they laid wait for my soul, Strong ones are assembled against me, Not my transgression nor my sin, O YHWH.
౩నా ప్రాణం తీయడానికి వారు కాపుకాశారు. యెహోవా, నేను దోషం చేసినందుకో, పాపం చేసినందుకో కాదు.
4 Without punishment they run and prepare themselves, Stir up to meet me, and see.
౪నాలో ఏ అక్రమం లేకపోయినా వారు నా మీదికి పరిగెత్తి రావడానికి సిద్ధపడ్డారు. లేచి నాకు సహాయం చెయ్యి.
5 And You, YHWH, God of Hosts, God of Israel, Awake to inspect all the nations. Do not favor any treacherous dealers of iniquity. (Selah)
౫సేనల ప్రభువైన యెహోవా, ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవా, అన్యజాతులను శిక్షించడానికి మేలుకో. ఆ దుర్మార్గుల్లో ఎవరినీ కనికరించవద్దు.
6 They return at evening, They make a noise like a dog, And go around the city.
౬సాయంకాలం వారు మళ్ళీ వస్తారు. కుక్కల్లాగా మొరుగుతూ పట్టణం చుట్టూ తిరుగుతారు.
7 Behold, they belch out with their mouths, Swords [are] in their lips, for “Who hears?”
౭మన మాటలు ఎవరు వింటారులే అనుకుని వారు తమ నోటితో మాటలు వెళ్లగక్కుతారు. వారి పెదాల్లో కత్తులున్నాయి.
8 And You, O YHWH, laugh at them, You mock at all the nations.
౮అయితే యెహోవా, నువ్వు వాళ్ళను చూసి నవ్వుతావు. అన్యజాతులను నువ్వు ఎగతాళి చేస్తావు.
9 O my Strength, to You I take heed, For God [is] my tower—the God of my kindness.
౯దేవా, నా బలమా, నేను నీకోసం ఎదురు చూస్తున్నాను. నా ఎత్తయిన బురుజు నువ్వే.
10 God goes before me, He causes me to look on my enemies.
౧౦నా దేవుడు తన నిబంధన నమ్మకత్వంలో నన్ను కలుసుకుంటాడు. నా శత్రువులకు జరిగిన దాన్ని దేవుడు నాకు చూపిస్తాడు.
11 Do not slay them, lest my people forget, Shake them by Your strength, And bring them down, O Lord our shield.
౧౧వారిని చంపొద్దు. ఎందుకంటే నా ప్రజలు దాన్ని మరచిపోతారేమో. మా ధ్వజం లాంటి నువ్వు నీ బలంతో వారిని చెల్లాచెదరు చేసి అణగ గొట్టు.
12 The sin of their mouth [is] a word of their lips, And they are captured in their pride, And they recount from the curse and lying.
౧౨వారి పెదాల మాటలను బట్టి, వారి నోటి పాపాన్ని బట్టి, వారు పలికిన శాపాలను బట్టి, అబద్ధాలను బట్టి వారు తమ గర్వంలో చిక్కుకునేలా చెయ్యి.
13 Consume in fury, consume and they are not, And they know that God is ruling in Jacob, To the ends of the earth. (Selah)
౧౩వారు ఇకపై కనబడకుండా పోయేలా కోపంతో వారిని నిర్మూలించు. దేవుడు యాకోబు సంతానాన్ని ఏలుతున్నాడని భూదిగంతాల వరకూ మనుషులు తెలుసుకునేలా చెయ్యి.
14 And they return at evening, They make a noise like a dog, And they go around the city.
౧౪సాయంకాలం వారు మళ్ళీ వస్తారు. కుక్కల్లాగా మొరుగుతూ పట్టణం చుట్టూ తిరుగుతారు.
15 They wander for food, If they are not satisfied—then they murmur.
౧౫తిండికోసం అటూ ఇటూ తిరుగుతారు. ఇంకా తృప్తి కలగకపోతే రాత్రి అంతా కనిపెడతారు.
16 And I sing of Your strength, And at morning I sing of Your kindness, For You have been a tower to me, And a refuge for me in a day of adversity.
౧౬నీవు నాకు ఎత్తయిన బురుజుగా ఉన్నావు. ఆపద రోజున నాకు ఆశ్రయంగా ఉన్నావు. నీ బలాన్ని గూర్చి నేను కీర్తిస్తాను. ఉదయాన నీ కృపను గూర్చి ఉత్సాహగానం చేస్తాను.
17 O my Strength, I sing praise to You, For God [is] my tower, the God of my kindness!
౧౭దేవుడు నాకు ఎత్తయిన కోటగా, నిబంధనా దేవుడుగా ఉన్నాడు. నా బలమా, నేను నిన్ను కీర్తిస్తాను.
