Psalms 59
1 TO THE OVERSEER. “DO NOT DESTROY.” A MIKTAM OF DAVID, IN SAUL’S SENDING, AND THEY WATCH THE HOUSE TO PUT HIM TO DEATH. Deliver me from my enemies, O my God, Set me on high from my withstanders.
Al la ĥorestro. Por Al-taŝĥet. Verko de David, kiam Saul sendis, ke oni gardu la domon, por lin mortigi. Savu min de miaj malamikoj, mia Dio; Defendu min kontraŭ tiuj, kiuj leviĝis kontraŭ mi.
2 Deliver me from workers of iniquity, And save me from men of blood.
Savu min de la krimuloj, Kaj kontraŭ la sangaviduloj helpu min.
3 For behold, they laid wait for my soul, Strong ones are assembled against me, Not my transgression nor my sin, O YHWH.
Ĉar jen ili embuskas kontraŭ mia animo, Fortuloj kolektiĝas kontraŭ mi, Ne por mia krimo kaj ne por mia peko, ho Eternulo.
4 Without punishment they run and prepare themselves, Stir up to meet me, and see.
Sen kulpo de mia flanko ili kunkuras kaj armiĝas; Rapidu renkonte al mi, kaj rigardu.
5 And You, YHWH, God of Hosts, God of Israel, Awake to inspect all the nations. Do not favor any treacherous dealers of iniquity. (Selah)
Vi, ho Eternulo, Dio Cebaot, Dio de Izrael, Vekiĝu, por punviziti ĉiujn popolojn; Ne indulgu ĉiujn krimajn malbonfarantojn. (Sela)
6 They return at evening, They make a noise like a dog, And go around the city.
Ili revenas vespere, bojas kiel hundoj, Kaj iras ĉirkaŭ la urbo.
7 Behold, they belch out with their mouths, Swords [are] in their lips, for “Who hears?”
Jen ili parolaĉas per siaj buŝoj; Glavoj estas sur iliaj lipoj; ĉar kiu, ili diras, aŭdas?
8 And You, O YHWH, laugh at them, You mock at all the nations.
Sed Vi, ho Eternulo, ridos pri ili; Vi mokos ĉiujn popolojn.
9 O my Strength, to You I take heed, For God [is] my tower—the God of my kindness.
Ho mia forto, al Vi mi min turnas; Ĉar Dio estas mia rifuĝo.
10 God goes before me, He causes me to look on my enemies.
Mia bona Dio rapidos al mi; Dio vidigos al mi venĝon sur miaj malamikoj.
11 Do not slay them, lest my people forget, Shake them by Your strength, And bring them down, O Lord our shield.
Ne mortigu ilin, por ke ne forgesu mia popolo; Disbatu ilin per Via forto kaj faligu ilin, Ho Sinjoro, nia ŝildo.
12 The sin of their mouth [is] a word of their lips, And they are captured in their pride, And they recount from the curse and lying.
La parolo de iliaj lipoj estas peko de iliaj buŝoj; Ili kaptiĝu per sia malhumileco, Ĉar ili parolas nur pri ĵurrompo kaj mensogo.
13 Consume in fury, consume and they are not, And they know that God is ruling in Jacob, To the ends of the earth. (Selah)
Ekstermu ilin en kolerego, ekstermu, ke ili ne plu ekzistu; Kaj ili eksciu, ke Dio regas ĉe Jakob, Ĝis la limoj de la mondo. (Sela)
14 And they return at evening, They make a noise like a dog, And they go around the city.
Ili revenas vespere, bojas kiel hundoj, Kaj iras ĉirkaŭ la urbo.
15 They wander for food, If they are not satisfied—then they murmur.
Ili vagas pro manĝo, Kaj sen satiĝo pasigas la nokton.
16 And I sing of Your strength, And at morning I sing of Your kindness, For You have been a tower to me, And a refuge for me in a day of adversity.
Sed mi kantos Vian forton, Kaj matene mi gloros Vian bonecon; Ĉar Vi estis por mi defendo kaj rifuĝo En la tago de mia malfeliĉo.
17 O my Strength, I sing praise to You, For God [is] my tower, the God of my kindness!
Ho mia forto, al Vi mi kantos; Ĉar Dio estas mia defendo, la Dio de mia favoro.
