< Psalms 59 >
1 TO THE OVERSEER. “DO NOT DESTROY.” A MIKTAM OF DAVID, IN SAUL’S SENDING, AND THEY WATCH THE HOUSE TO PUT HIM TO DEATH. Deliver me from my enemies, O my God, Set me on high from my withstanders.

2 Deliver me from workers of iniquity, And save me from men of blood.
Kasae sah kaminawk thung hoiah na loisak ah; athii anghae kaminawk ih ban thung hoiah na pahlong ah.
3 For behold, they laid wait for my soul, Strong ones are assembled against me, Not my transgression nor my sin, O YHWH.
Khenah, nihcae loe kai hum hanah angang o; Aw Angraeng, thacak kaminawk loe ka zaehaih pongah na ai, ka sakpazaehaih pongah doeh na ai ah, ka nuiah kahoih ai hmuen sak hanah amkhueng o.
4 Without punishment they run and prepare themselves, Stir up to meet me, and see.
Nihcae loe ka sakpazaehaih tidoeh om ai ah, cawnh o moe, tuk hanah amsak o coek boeh; kai abomh hanah angthawk ah loe na khen ah!
5 And You, YHWH, God of Hosts, God of Israel, Awake to inspect all the nations. Do not favor any treacherous dealers of iniquity. (Selah)
Aw misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng Sithaw, Israel Sithaw, Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk thuitaek hanah angthawk ah; kasae sah kami loe, kawbaktih kami nuiah doeh palungnathaih to tawn hmah. (Selah)
6 They return at evening, They make a noise like a dog, And go around the city.
Nihcae loe duembang ah amlaem o; ui baktiah hangh o moe, vangpui thungah amkaeh o.
7 Behold, they belch out with their mouths, Swords [are] in their lips, for “Who hears?”
Khenah, nihcae loe patoekhaih lok to thuih o; nihcae ih pahni thungah loe sumsen to oh, mi mah maw thaih tang tih, tiah a thuih o.
8 And You, O YHWH, laugh at them, You mock at all the nations.
Toe Aw Angraeng, nihcae to pahnui thui ah loe, Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk boih to pahnui thui ah.
9 O my Strength, to You I take heed, For God [is] my tower—the God of my kindness.
Anih thacakhaih ah kaom nang, nang to kang zing han; Aw Sithaw, nang loe ka buephaih ah na oh.
10 God goes before me, He causes me to look on my enemies.
Amlunghaih ka Sithaw mah na pakaa tih; ka misanawk nuiah anghoehaih to Sithaw mah na hnusak tih.
11 Do not slay them, lest my people forget, Shake them by Your strength, And bring them down, O Lord our shield.
Kaicae angvaenghaih, Aw Angraeng, nihcae to hum hmah; na hum nahaeloe kai ih kaminawk mah pahnet o ving moeng tih; na thacakhaih hoiah nihcae to anghaehsak phaeng ah loe, pakhrah tathuk ah.
12 The sin of their mouth [is] a word of their lips, And they are captured in their pride, And they recount from the curse and lying.
Pakha hoi tangoenghaih, kamoek pahninawk hoiah a thuih o ih lok amlaihaih pongah aman o king nasoe.
13 Consume in fury, consume and they are not, And they know that God is ruling in Jacob, To the ends of the earth. (Selah)
Palungphuihaih hoiah nihcae to amrosak ah loe, tamit boih ah; Jakob hoi long boenghaih khoek to Sithaw mah ni uk, tiah nihcae mah panoek o nasoe. (Selah)
14 And they return at evening, They make a noise like a dog, And they go around the city.
Nihcae loe duembang ah amlaem o nasoe; ui baktiah hang o nasoe loe, vangpui thungah amkae o nasoe.
15 They wander for food, If they are not satisfied—then they murmur.
Buh pakronghaih hoiah ahmuen kruekah amhet o nasoe loe, zok kamthlam ah aqum puek hang o nasoe.
16 And I sing of Your strength, And at morning I sing of Your kindness, For You have been a tower to me, And a refuge for me in a day of adversity.
Toe kai loe na thacakhaih to laa ah ka sak han; ue, raihaih ka tong naah, nang loe kang vaenghaih hoi ka buephaih ah na oh pongah, na palungnathaih pongah akhawnbang ah hanghaih hoiah laa ka sak han.
17 O my Strength, I sing praise to You, For God [is] my tower, the God of my kindness!
Aw ka thacakhaih, nang khaeah laa ka sak han; Sithaw loe ka buephaih ah oh moe, amlunghaih Sithaw ah oh.
