Psalms 58
1 TO THE OVERSEER. “DO NOT DESTROY.” A MIKTAM OF DAVID. Is it true, O silent one, that you speak righteously? Do you judge uprightly, O sons of men?
ए शासकहरू हो, के तिमीहरू धर्मिकतामा बोल्छौ? ए मानिसहरू, के तिमीहरू ठिक किसमले न्याय गर्छौ?
2 Even in heart you work iniquities, In the land you ponder the violence of your hands.
गर्दैनौ, तिमीहरू आफ्नो हृदयमा दुष्टता गर्छौ । तिमीहरू आफ्नै हातले देशभरि हिंसा फैलाउँछौ ।
3 The wicked have been estranged from the womb, They have erred from the belly, speaking lies.
दुष्टहरू गर्भमा हुँदा पनि तिनीहरू पथभ्रष्ट हुन्छन् । जन्मेदेखि नै तिनीहरू झुट बोलेर पथभ्रष्ट हुन्छन् ।
4 Their poison [is] as poison of a serpent, As a deaf cobra shutting its ear,
तिनीहरूका विष सर्पको विषजस्तै छ । तिनीहरू बहिरा गोमनजस्तै छन् जसले यसका कानहरू बन्द गर्छ,
5 Which does not listen to the voice of whisperers, A charmer of most skillful charms.
त्यसले सपेराको आवाज सुन्दैन, तिनीहरू जत्ति नै निपुण भए पनि पर्वाह छैन ।
6 O God, break their teeth in their mouth, Break down the jaw-teeth of young lions, O YHWH.
हे परमेश्वर, तिनीहरूका दाँतहरू भाँचिदिनुहोस् । हे परमप्रभु, जवान सिंहहरूका बङ्गराहरू झारिदिनुहोस् ।
7 They are melted as waters, They go up and down for themselves, His arrow proceeds as they cut themselves off.
पानी बगेर गएजस्तै तिनीहरू बिलेर जाऊन् । तिनीहरूले आफ्ना काँडाहरू हान्दा, तिनका चुच्चो नभएजस्तै ती होऊन् ।
8 He goes on as a snail that melts, [As] an untimely birth of a woman, They have not seen the sun.
तिनीहरू शंखेकीराजस्तै होऊन् र बिलि जाऊन् र तिनीहरू एउटी स्त्रीको तुहेको बालकजस्तै होऊन् जसले कहिल्यै सूर्यको उज्यालो देख्दैनन् ।
9 Before your pots discern the bramble, As living, He whirls away in His burning anger.
तिम्रा भाँडाहरूले काँढाको आगोको राप थाहा पाउनअगि नै हरिया काँढाहरू र जलिरहेका काँढाहरूजस्तै त्यसले तिनीहरूलाई भुमरीसँगै उठाइ लानेछ ।
10 The righteous rejoices that he has seen vengeance, He washes his steps in the blood of the wicked.
धर्मीले परमेश्वरको बदला देख्दा, त्यो आनन्दित हुनेछ । तिनीहरूले आफ्ना खुट्टाहरू दुष्टहरूका रगतमा धुनेछन्,
11 And man says: “Surely fruit [is] for the righteous: Surely there is a God judging in the earth!”
ताकि मानिसहरूले भन्नेछन्, “साँच्चै, धर्मी व्यक्तिको निम्ति इनाम छ । साँच्चै, परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ जसले पृथ्वीको न्याय गर्नुहुन्छ ।”
