< Psalms 55 >
1 TO THE OVERSEER. WITH STRINGED INSTRUMENTS. AN INSTRUCTION OF DAVID. Give ear, O God, [to] my prayer, And do not hide from my supplication.
Janjiño o filolohakoo ry Andrianañahare; ko mietak’ amo halalikoo.
2 Attend to me, and answer me, I mourn in my (meditation) and make a noise,
Haoño iraho, le toiño; ie tsitoboboly am-pitoreoko, toe miñeoñeoñe avao
3 Because of the voice of an enemy, Because of the oppression of the wicked, For they cause sorrow to move against me, And in anger they hate me.
ty amy feon-drafelahikoy, ami’ty fanindria’ o lo-tserekeo, ie mametsa-kasosorañe; vaho am-piloroloroañe ty atreatré’ iareo ahy.
4 My heart is pained within me, And terrors of death have fallen on me.
Miola ty an-troko ao, vaho midoiñ’ amako ty fangebahebàn-kavilasy.
5 Fear and trembling come to me, And horror covers me.
Midoñ’amako ty firevendreveñañe naho ty fihondrahondràñe, vaho opoe’ ty anifañe.
6 And I say, “Who gives to me a pinion as a dove?” I fly away and rest,
Hoe raho: Ee te nanañ’ elatse hoe deho! le ho nitiliñe añe vaho nitofa;
7 Behold, I move far off, I lodge in a wilderness. (Selah)
Eka, ho niherereake mb’eo, ho nañialo am-patrambey añe. Selà
8 I hurry escape for myself, From a rushing wind, from a whirlwind.
Ho nifiotse mb’am-pipalirako mb’eo, ty ami’ty tio-bey naho ty afo-rano.
9 Swallow up, O Lord, divide their tongue, For I saw violence and strife in a city.
Votemboteo ry Talè, tseraho ty famele’ iareo, fa nahatrea piaroteñe naho fiolañe an-drova ao iraho.
10 By day and by night they go around it, on its walls. Both iniquity and perverseness [are] in its midst,
Handro an-kaleñe iereo ro mitingatinga ambone kijoly ey, añivo’e ao ty hatsivokarañe naho fikitrohan-draty.
11 Mischiefs [are] in its midst. Fraud and deceit do not depart from its street.
Firotsahañe ty añivo’e ao, tsy mienga o kiririsa’eo ty joy naho ty fìtake.
12 For an enemy does not reproach me, or I bear [it], He who is hating me Has not magnified himself against me, Or I hide from him.
Tsy t’ie rafelahy te mañìnje ahy, fa ho nileoko, tsy t’ie mpalaiñ’ ahy te itoabora’e, fa ho nietahako.
13 But you, a man—as my equal, My familiar friend, and my acquaintance.
Te mone ihe, rahambako, mpiamako naho rañeko,
14 When together we sweeten counsel, We walk into the house of God in company.
nimamy ty fifañohahòhan-tika, mbore nitrao-pivovotse amy màroy mb’añ’anjomban’ Añahare mb’eo.
15 Desolations [are] on them, They go down [to] Sheol—alive, For wickedness [is] in their dwelling, in their midst. (Sheol )
Ee t’ie ho fañahieñe mb’am-pihomaham-beo, agodoño veloñe an-tsikeokeok’ ao; amy te an-kaloloañe ao ty kiboho’e; añivo’e ao. (Sheol )
16 I call to God, and YHWH saves me.
Aa naho izaho, ho kanjieko t’Andrianañahare; vaho handrombak’ ahy t’Iehovà.
17 Evening, and morning, and noon, I meditate, and make a noise, and He hears my voice,
Hariva naho handro vaho an-tsipinde ty hitoreovako naho hiñeoñeoñe; vaho ho janji’e ty feoko.
18 He has ransomed my soul in peace From him who is near to me, For with the multitude they were with me.
Hijebaña’e an-kanintsiñe amy fifandraparapahañe amakoy.
19 God hears and afflicts them, And He sits of old. (Selah) Because they have no changes, and do not fear God,
Hijanjiñe t’i Andrianañahare vaho ho toiñe’e iareo; I miambesatse am-piambesa’e haehaey, Selà toe tsy miova iareo, tsy mañeveñe aman’ Añahare.
20 He has sent forth his hands against his well-wishers, He has defiled his covenant.
F’ie mañonjo-haoke hañatreatre amo nifampilongo ama’eo, ie nifotetse amy fañina’ey,
21 His mouth has been sweeter than honey, And his heart [is] war! His words have been softer than oil, And they [are] drawn [swords].
Nalama te amo solikeo o entam-palie’eo fe aly avao ty añ’ arofo’e ao; nalea ta o menakeo o saontsi’eo, te mone fibara napontsoañe.
22 Cast on YHWH that which He has given you, And He sustains you, He does not permit the moving of the righteous forever.
Apoho am’ Iehovà o kilanka’oo, le ho tohaña’e; tsy hado’e higavingaviñe o vantañeo.
23 And You, O God, bring them down To a pit of destruction, Men of blood and deceit do not reach to half their days, And I trust in You!
F’ihe ry Andrianañahare: ro hampijoroboñ’ iareo an-kobon-dalek’ao; tsy hiveloma’ ondaty mampiori-dio naho mamañahio, ty an-tsasa’ o andro’eo, fa naho izaho, Ihe ro hiatoako.
