< Psalms 54 >

1 TO THE OVERSEER. WITH STRINGED INSTRUMENTS. AN INSTRUCTION OF DAVID, IN THE COMING IN OF THE ZIPHIM, AND THEY SAY TO SAUL, “IS DAVID NOT HIDING HIMSELF WITH US?” O God, save me by Your Name, and judge me by Your might.
Nkunga Davidi kuidi pfumu minyimbidi kayimbidila mu mu thangu basi Zifi bayiza kamba Sawuli ti: “Davidi kuidi beto” kasuamini. Wuphukisa, Nzambi ama, mu dizina diaku; wundungisa mu lulendo luaku.
2 O God, hear my prayer, Give ear to the sayings of my mouth,
Wa lusambulu luama, a Nzambi. Dimba mambu ma munuꞌama.
3 For strangers have risen up against me And terrible ones have sought my soul, They have not set God before them. (Selah)
Zinzenza zilembo nduanisa ayi batu ba tsita balembo tombi luzingu luama. Batu bankambu kinzikanga Nzambi.
4 Behold, God [is] a helper to me, The Lord [is] with those supporting my soul,
Bukiedika, Nzambi niandi nsadisi ama. Yave niandi wukukhindisanga.
5 Turn back the evil to my enemies, Cut them off in Your truth.
Bika mambimbi mabuila bobo beti kuphueza; Mu kikhuikizi kiaku, wuba bunga.
6 I sacrifice to You with a free-will offering, I thank Your Name, O YHWH, for [it is] good,
Ndiela kutambikanga makaba mu ntima wu luzolo; ndiela zitisa dizina diaku, a Yave. Bila didi dimboti.
7 For He delivered me from all adversity, And my eye has looked on my enemies!
Bila niandi wukhula mu ziphasi ziama zioso ayi meso mama mamona mbedoso yi bobo beti kundenda.
