< Psalms 54 >
1 TO THE OVERSEER. WITH STRINGED INSTRUMENTS. AN INSTRUCTION OF DAVID, IN THE COMING IN OF THE ZIPHIM, AND THEY SAY TO SAUL, “IS DAVID NOT HIDING HIMSELF WITH US?” O God, save me by Your Name, and judge me by Your might.
Aw Khawsa, nang ming ing kai ve ni hul lah; nak thaawmnaak ing ak thym na awi kqawn law lah.
2 O God, hear my prayer, Give ear to the sayings of my mouth,
Aw Khawsa, kak cykcahnaak ve za law nawhtaw; kam kha awhkaw awi ve ngai law lah.
3 For strangers have risen up against me And terrible ones have sought my soul, They have not set God before them. (Selah)
Thlak changkhqi ing ni tuk unawh; qeennaak amak ta thlangkhqi Khawsa kawna amak sui thlangkhqi ing ka hqingnaak doen law uhy.
4 Behold, God [is] a helper to me, The Lord [is] with those supporting my soul,
Khawsa taw anik hulkung na awm tak tak nawh; Bawipa taw kai anik dylkung na awm hy.
5 Turn back the evil to my enemies, Cut them off in Your truth.
Kai anik kqawn seetkhqi ce seetnaak ing zeen khoep seitaw; na ypawmnaak ing cekkhqi ce hqe seh.
6 I sacrifice to You with a free-will offering, I thank Your Name, O YHWH, for [it is] good,
Na venawh kamah ak kaw sim ing bulnaak sai vang nyng; Aw Bawipa, nang ming kyihcah ve a leek dawngawh nim kyihcah vang nyng.
7 For He delivered me from all adversity, And my eye has looked on my enemies!
