Psalms 5

1 TO THE OVERSEER. [BLOWN] INTO THE PIPES. A PSALM OF DAVID. Hear my sayings, O YHWH, Consider my (meditation)

Dá ouvidos ás minhas palavras, ó Senhor, entende a minha meditação.

2 Be attentive to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For I pray to You habitually.

Attende á voz do meu clamor, Rei meu e Deus meu, pois a ti orarei.

3 YHWH, [in] the morning You hear my voice, [In] the morning I set in array for You, And I look out [expectantly].

Pela manhã ouvirás a minha voz, ó Senhor; pela manhã me apresentarei a ti, e vigiarei.

4 For You [are] not a God desiring wickedness, Evil does not inhabit You.

Porque tu não és um Deus que tenha prazer na iniquidade, nem comtigo habitará o mal.

5 The boastful do not station themselves before Your eyes: You have hated all working iniquity.

Os loucos não pararão á tua vista; aborreces a todos os que obram a maldade.

6 You destroy those speaking lies, YHWH detests a man of blood and deceit.

Destruirás aquelles que fallam a mentira; o Senhor aborrecerá o homem sanguinario e fraudulento.

7 And I, in the abundance of Your kindness, I enter Your house, I bow myself toward Your holy temple in Your fear.

Porém eu entrarei em tua casa pela grandeza de tua benignidade; e em teu temor me inclinarei para o teu sancto templo.

8 O YHWH, lead me in Your righteousness, Because of those observing me, Make Your way straight before me,

Senhor, guia-me na tua justiça, por causa dos meus inimigos: endireita diante de mim o teu caminho.

9 For there is no stability in their mouth. Their heart [is] mischiefs, Their throat [is] an open grave, They make their tongue smooth.

Porque não ha rectidão na bocca d'elles: as suas entranhas são verdadeiras maldades, a sua garganta é um sepulchro aberto; lisongeam com a sua lingua.

10 Declare them guilty, O God, Let them fall from their own counsels, In the abundance of their transgressions Drive them away, Because they have been rebellious against You.

Declara-os culpados, ó Deus: caiam por seus proprios conselhos; lança-os fóra por causa da multidão de suas transgressões, pois se rebellaram contra ti.

11 And all trusting in You rejoice, They sing for all time, and You cover them over, And those loving Your Name exult in You.

Porém alegrem-se todos os que confiam em ti; exultem eternamente, porquanto tu os defendes; e em ti se gloriem os que amam o teu nome.

12 For You bless the righteous, O YHWH, Surrounding him with favor as a buckler!

Pois tu, Senhor, abençoarás ao justo; coroal-o-has com a tua benevolencia, como de um escudo.
