Psalms 47

1 TO THE OVERSEER. A PSALM OF THE SONS OF KORAH. All you peoples, clap the hand, Shout to God with a voice of singing,

Al Vencedor: a los hijos de Coré: Salmo. Pueblos todos, batid las manos; aclamad a Dios con voz de júbilo.

2 For YHWH Most High [is] fearful, A great King over all the earth.

Porque el SEÑOR es Sublime y temible; Rey grande sobre toda la tierra.

3 He leads peoples under us, and nations under our feet.

El guiará a los pueblos debajo de nosotros, y a los gentiles debajo de nuestros pies.

4 He chooses for us our inheritance, The excellence of Jacob that He loves. (Selah)

El nos elegirá nuestras heredades; la hermosura de Jacob, al cual amó. (Selah)

5 God has gone up with a shout, YHWH with the sound of a horn.

Subió Dios con júbilo, el SEÑOR con voz de trompeta.

6 Praise God—praise—give praise to our king, praise.

Cantad a Dios, cantad; cantad a nuestro Rey, cantad.

7 For God [is] King of all the earth, Give praise, O understanding one.

Porque el Rey de toda la tierra es Dios; cantad con entendimiento.

8 God has reigned over nations, God has sat on His holy throne,

Reinó Dios sobre los gentiles; se sentó Dios sobre el trono de su santidad.

9 Nobles of peoples have been gathered, [With] the people of the God of Abraham, For the shields of earth [are] to God, Greatly has He been exalted!

Los príncipes de los pueblos se juntaron al pueblo del Dios de Abraham; porque de Dios son los escudos de la tierra; El es muy ensalzado.
