Psalms 46
1 TO THE OVERSEER. BY SONS OF KORAH. FOR GIRLS’ [VOICES]. A SONG. God [is] our refuge and strength, A most sure help in adversities.
Por el jefe de los músicos. Por los hijos de Coré. Según Alamot. Dios es nuestro refugio y nuestra fuerza, una ayuda muy presente en los problemas.
2 Therefore we do not fear in the changing of earth, And in the slipping of mountains Into the heart of the seas.
Por eso no tendremos miedo, aunque la tierra cambie, aunque las montañas se agiten en el corazón de los mares;
3 Roar—troubled are its waters, Mountains shake in its pride. (Selah)
aunque sus aguas rugen y se agitan, aunque las montañas tiemblen con su hinchazón. (Selah)
4 A river—its streams make glad the city of God, Your holy place of the dwelling places of the Most High.
Hay un río cuyas corrientes alegran la ciudad de Dios, el lugar santo de las tiendas del Altísimo.
5 God [is] in her midst—she is not moved, God helps her at the turn of the morning!
Dios está dentro de ella. Ella no será movida. Dios la ayudará al amanecer.
6 Nations have been troubled, Kingdoms have been moved, He has given forth with His voice—earth melts.
Las naciones se enfurecieron. Los reinos se conmovieron. Levantó la voz y la tierra se derritió.
7 YHWH of Hosts [is] with us, The God of Jacob [is] a tower for us. (Selah)
El Señor de los Ejércitos está con nosotros. El Dios de Jacob es nuestro refugio. (Selah)
8 Come, see the works of YHWH, Who has done astonishing things in the earth,
Vengan, vean las obras de Yahvé, qué desolaciones ha hecho en la tierra.
9 Causing wars to cease, To the end of the earth, He shatters the bow, And He has cut apart the spear, He burns chariots with fire.
Hace cesar las guerras hasta el fin de la tierra. Rompe el arco y destroza la lanza. Quema los carros en el fuego.
10 Desist, and know that I [am] God, I am exalted among nations, I am exalted in the earth.
“Estad tranquilos y sabed que yo soy Dios. Seré exaltado entre las naciones. Seré exaltado en la tierra”.
11 YHWH of hosts [is] with us, The God of Jacob [is] a tower for us! (Selah)
Yahvéde los Ejércitos está con nosotros. El Dios de Jacob es nuestro refugio. (Selah)
