Psalms 46

1 TO THE OVERSEER. BY SONS OF KORAH. FOR GIRLS’ [VOICES]. A SONG. God [is] our refuge and strength, A most sure help in adversities.

Przedniejszemu śpiewakowi z synów Korego, na Alamot pieśń. Bóg jest ucieczką i siłą naszą, ratunkiem we wszelkim ucisku najpewniejszym.

2 Therefore we do not fear in the changing of earth, And in the slipping of mountains Into the heart of the seas.

Przetoż się bać nie będziemy, choćby się poruszyła ziemia, choćby się przeniosły góry w pośród morza;

3 Roar—troubled are its waters, Mountains shake in its pride. (Selah)

Choćby zaszumiały, a wzburzyły się wody jego, i zatrzęsły się góry od nawałności jego. (Sela)

4 A river—its streams make glad the city of God, Your holy place of the dwelling places of the Most High.

Strumienie rzeki jego rozweselają miasto Boże, najświętsze z przybytków najwyższego.

5 God [is] in her midst—she is not moved, God helps her at the turn of the morning!

Bóg jest w pośrodku jego, nie będzie poruszone; poratuje go Bóg zaraz z poranku.

6 Nations have been troubled, Kingdoms have been moved, He has given forth with His voice—earth melts.

Gdy się wzburzyły narody, a zatrząsnęły się królestwa, Pan wydał głos swój, i rozpłynęła się ziemia.

7 YHWH of Hosts [is] with us, The God of Jacob [is] a tower for us. (Selah)

Pan zastępów jest z nami; twierdzą wysoką jest nam Bóg Jakóbowy. (Sela)

8 Come, see the works of YHWH, Who has done astonishing things in the earth,

Pójdźcie, oglądajcie sprawy Pańskie, jakie uczynił spustoszenie na ziemi;

9 Causing wars to cease, To the end of the earth, He shatters the bow, And He has cut apart the spear, He burns chariots with fire.

Który uśmierza wojny aż do kończyn ziemi, łuk kruszy, i oręże łamie, a wozy ogniem pali.

10 Desist, and know that I [am] God, I am exalted among nations, I am exalted in the earth.

Mówiąc: Uspokójcie się, a wiedzcie, żem Ja Bóg; będę wywyższony między narodami, będę wywyższony na ziemi.

11 YHWH of hosts [is] with us, The God of Jacob [is] a tower for us! (Selah)
