< Psalms 46 >
1 TO THE OVERSEER. BY SONS OF KORAH. FOR GIRLS’ [VOICES]. A SONG. God [is] our refuge and strength, A most sure help in adversities.
Korah ƒe viwo ƒe ha na hɛnɔ la, ne woadzi ɖe alamot ƒe gbeɖiɖi nu. Mawue nye míaƒe sitsoƒe kple ŋusẽ, xɔnametɔ si li ɖaa kpli mí le xaxawo me.
2 Therefore we do not fear in the changing of earth, And in the slipping of mountains Into the heart of the seas.
Eya ta ne anyigba gli le zi dzi hã la, míavɔ̃ o, ne towo ho ɖadze atsiaƒu me,
3 Roar—troubled are its waters, Mountains shake in its pride. (Selah)
eye atsiaƒutsi ɖe gbe lɔ futukpɔ ɖe nu, ale be towo dzo kpekpekpe le eƒe howɔwɔ ta hã la, míavɔ̃ o. (Sela)
4 A river—its streams make glad the city of God, Your holy place of the dwelling places of the Most High.
Tɔsisi aɖe li, esi ƒe tsiwo doa dzidzɔ na Mawu ƒe du, teƒe kɔkɔe, afi si Dziƒoʋĩtɔ la nɔna.
5 God [is] in her midst—she is not moved, God helps her at the turn of the morning!
Mawu le afi ma, eya ta mamu adze anyi o. Mawu akpe ɖe eŋu ne ŋu ke teti.
6 Nations have been troubled, Kingdoms have been moved, He has given forth with His voice—earth melts.
Hoowɔwɔ ɖo dukɔwo me, fiaɖuƒewo mu; ekɔ eƒe gbe dzi, tete anyigba lolo.
7 YHWH of Hosts [is] with us, The God of Jacob [is] a tower for us. (Selah)
Yehowa, Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ la li kpli mí, Yakob ƒe Mawu la nye míaƒe mɔ sesẽ. (Sela)
8 Come, see the works of YHWH, Who has done astonishing things in the earth,
Miva kpɔ Yehowa ƒe dɔwɔwɔwo ɖa, miva kpɔ gbegblẽ si wòhe va anyigba dzi la ɖa.
9 Causing wars to cease, To the end of the earth, He shatters the bow, And He has cut apart the spear, He burns chariots with fire.
Ena aʋawɔwɔ nu tso va se ɖe keke anyigba ƒe mlɔenu ke; eŋe da, eye wòfli akplɔ, hetɔ dzo akpoxɔnuwo.
10 Desist, and know that I [am] God, I am exalted among nations, I am exalted in the earth.
“Ɖe dzi ɖi, eye nànya be nyee nye Mawu. Woadom ɖe dzi le dukɔwo dome, eye woadom ɖe dzi le anyigba dzi.”
11 YHWH of hosts [is] with us, The God of Jacob [is] a tower for us! (Selah)
